The remains of Nur Izzati Humaira Azizul, 19, who died after going missing during a hiking trip at Bukit Changkat Asa last Saturday, were laid to rest at the Felda Trolak Utara Muslim cemetery at 3.05 am on Wednesday (May 27).

Prior to the burial, her body was brought to Masjid Ar-Riduaniah in Felda Trolak Utara, where funeral prayers were held at 2.20 am, led by her father, Azizul Abdul Aziz in the presence of around 50 worshippers.

00:58The teenager's body was discovered on Tuesday morning off the hiking trail by search and rescue teams.
01:05She was found about 500 metres from where she was last seen and one kilometre from the incident control post.
01:13Nur Izzati Humaira is believed to have lost her way while descending the hill with her family.
01:19It is understood that she had decided to walk alone to reach the foot of the hill earlier as she
01:25was feeling hot and tired.
01:28Shortly after, she was reported missing.
