Post-match press conference with Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim after their 1-1 draw with West Ham United at Old Trafford in the Premier League.  Diogo Dalot put United ahead on 58 minutes, reacting quickest after Casemiro’s effort dropped loose in the box. West Ham equalised in the 83rd minute when Soungoutou Magassa scored from a corner following Jarrod Bowen’s near post flick. United were again punished for not securing a second goal after taking the lead, with a late set piece proving costly.  Amorim reflects on his side losing too many second balls after scoring and expresses frustration at conceding from a corner against a taller West Ham side. He stresses how small details changed the outcome, admits United “need to score more goals” and remain “inconsistent”, and discusses why he made adjustments to regain control late in the match. 00:39Yeah, but there are second halves that we lose control of the game today, I think it was

00:45Maybe after the first goal, we lost some second balls and Matils won one or two second balls

03:32No, second ball sometimes is tactical things.

03:34We try to adjust with the players that we put and then we control.

03:38We had in the final minutes, we had the possession, the ball was far from the opponent,

03:44was not a clear full press from the opponent.

03:48We cannot let a team that is so much taller than us to have a corner when the ball is in

03:55the goalkeeper.

03:55So, this kind of details makes the difference and today, a corner in the second half made
