00:33her panache in all its glory, yet again, at the state banquet hosted by Britain's royal family

00:38in honor of the German president, Frank Walter Steinmeier, and his wife, Elke Budenbender.

00:44The dinner was hosted at Windsor Castle. For the state banquet for the German president,

00:49Kate Middleton chose to add some spectacular bling to her outfit with one of the most elaborate

00:53tiaras one has ever seen her dawn. This historic piece of art, known as the Oriental Circlet,

01:00was created for Queen Victoria in 1853 by none other than her partner, King Albert. The unique

01:06diamond-studded Indian lotus-inspired design was created by Mughal artisans, which is what makes

01:11it so distinctive. It was initially made with opals and 2,600 well-shaped diamonds. However, once Queen

01:18Alexandra inherited the crown, she had the opals replaced with the Burmese rubies. This was the

01:24first time the statement piece had been donned by a royal in about two decades. But that's not all.

01:29For this special occasion, Middleton also wore a floor-length icy blue Jenny Packham gown,

01:34which was beautifully laden with sequin work. The fitted bodice and pleated skirt further added to her

01:40grace. The sheer cape over her shoulders added a rather regal and almost fairytale-like touch to her
