Alicia's boyfriend Matt is sick, Nick has heroin withdrawals and Tobias get his knife back.

00:00Here's what went down in Fear the Walking Dead episode 2.

00:02The episode starts off with Alicia going to find her flaky boyfriend, Matt.

00:06Guess what? He's been bit.

00:08What's wrong?

00:08He's sick. He's really sick.

00:10Who? Who's sick?

00:12Matt.

00:12His favor's like 103.

00:14Travis, Maddie, and Nick are driving like typical Angelenos.

00:17You know, three people in the front seat of a pickup and cutting off semis.

00:20So they catch up with Alicia at Matt's, and then she goes all Tammy Winnett on the situation.

00:28But she makes a good argument.

00:29If he has it, I have it.

00:30Sorry, Alicia. The zombie pathogen is not an STD.

00:34But seriously, has anyone tried to cure it with penicillin yet?

00:36Meanwhile, everyone else is either getting ready to have a birthday party or packing up to skip town.

00:41But at the house, Nick makes this statement.

00:43I'm about to step into a world of shit.

00:47Of course, he's talking about the heroin withdrawals, but it pretty much sums up everybody's situation.

00:52Travis hoses off the hood of his car because of this.

00:55Travis, I'm sorry. The zombie apocalypse is no excuse to forget we're in the middle of a historic drought.

01:01Travis goes to find his ex-wife, and I'm guessing by that gas station shortcut, he's using Waze to beat L.A. traffic.

01:07Meanwhile, Maddie tries to score some come-down drugs for Nick.

01:10So, she heads to the high school.

01:12An obvious choice.

01:13And then out of nowhere, Tobias shows up creepy as ever.

01:16Naturally, they raid the fridge.

01:17Now, the only thing this scene was missing was the theme song from Supermarket Sweep.

01:21Let's try it again.

01:29See, that's better.

01:30Travis finds his ex-wife, but his son is busy protesting the LAPD downtown.

01:35Somebody just watch Nightcrawler.

01:36The riot police roll in, and the cops kill the walker, who looks like she just spent the weekend at EDC.

01:41And it's starting to look like downtown after the Lakers won the playoffs.

01:44Travis and his family decide to lay low at the barbershop, while Maddie, Nick, and Alicia post up at home for the night.

01:50And that's pretty much the episode.

01:52We'll have to wait two weeks to find out whether or not they're able to rejoin and make their way to the desert.

01:56Other memorable moments.

01:58Tobias gets his knife back, and puts it to use.

02:01But it's no match for principal-turned-walker, Artie.

02:04But never fear, Maddie gets the job done with the fire extinguisher.

02:08A gross non-walker-related scene is when Nick misses the bucket.
