00:00Today on Media Miss Minute, the family of a man killed in one of the U.S. recent strikes on an
00:05alleged drug boat has filed a human rights complaint. Plus, the Treasury Department has
00:10opened a fraud investigation in Minnesota, and it ties directly to President Trump's
00:15verbal attacks this week on the state's Somali community.
00:21I'm Craig DeGrelli, and this is Media Miss Minute, where we bring you two stories being
00:26missed by partisan media outlets, one on the left and one on the right. Starting today with the
00:31right, the family of a Colombian man killed in a U.S. strike on what the Trump administration says
00:37was a drug trafficking boat has filed a complaint with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights.
00:43The family argues the September strike amounts to murder, saying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth
00:49ordered the operation, quote, despite not knowing the identity of those targeted for these bombings
00:54and extrajudicial killings. Now to what's being missed by the left. Treasury Secretary Scott
01:01Besant says his department is investigating whether Minnesota taxpayer funds were diverted
01:06to a terrorist organization. Besant said on social media that President Trump personally requested
01:12the probe, following reports that al-Shabaab, a Somali terror group affiliated with al-Qaeda,
01:19may have benefited from fraud committed in the state. Download the Straight Arrow News app and click
