00:00The big sports story of the day though is the meteor that hit the NBA last night

00:05which is going to kill the Milwaukee Bucks. Nobody else but if you live in Milwaukee you're dead

00:11because the honest meteor finally hit. I guess Windhorse had a first I think he did at least

00:16that he has officially asked for a trade and it is time to get out of Milwaukee and for people

00:24like me long-suffering New York Knickerbocker fans the story again according to Brian Windhorse

00:30which I think has been confirmed now is the only place he really wants to go would be to come to

00:36my town my city to play in the Mecca you see what he looks like right there in the orange and blue

00:42and that'd be to play for the New York Knicks and they tried to get that done apparently this last

00:48offseason they did when he went to Milwaukee and said yeah if you're going to trade me the one team

00:53I'd like to go to I would be the New York Knickerbockers okay now he does not have a no trade

00:57clause he does there's only two guys in the league right now that do and he ain't one of them okay

01:01meaning they can do whatever the hell they want they can they've been very good in regards to

01:06paying him obviously and trying to do right by him and to be fair to Giannis this is the first time

01:12Giannis is now acting like a superstar from a standpoint of I know I cannot win in Milwaukee

01:18and they have won and you don't take it away from him Kevin Durant's foot was on the line

01:23or else the Milwaukee never would have won a title that year obviously but he's got a title

01:27he does so unlike guys like oh I don't know Lebronski he's no longer chasing a title he's got the hardware

01:35he's got the hall of fame career he's a top five basketball player in the world today he's also on

01:42the wrong side of 30 so how many more years you're going to get of him at that level who who the heck

01:48knows here's the reality though and I'm a diehard Knick fan if the Knicks want to get him get used to

01:55these three names Deuce McBride I know that doesn't make you moist but very good guy off the bench Deuce

02:01McBride number one OG Ananobi who's also got a title in his back pocket as well and Carl Anthony Towns

02:09that's what it would take for and then you want to add a first round draft pick a couple of them a

02:14couple twos whatever it is yeah but that's essentially what it would take for the New York

02:19Knicks to acquire the services of Giannis and if you're if you're a Knick fan out there you say yes

02:25to that immediately absolutely you don't waver on it you don't question it you don't negotiate

02:31you don't counter you say as much as I love OG as much as Carl Anthony Towns is a big part of getting

02:38to our first Eastern Conference final in 20 years and I do like Deuce McBride a lot off the bench

02:44yes and thank you and then you might even bend over afterwards and allow them to have their way

02:50because we're getting Giannis okay you might have to but I've got to be fair about this because I made

02:55a pledge 34 years ago that I would never lie to the audience okay okay the New York Knicks do not

03:02have the best offer to make to Milwaukee to get Giannis and as much as we all think the world revolves

03:10around us in New York and maybe it very well does and we all can't wait to watch him put on that Nick

03:16Orange and Blue and that is a great package by the way let's just get that right that is a valuable

03:21package going back to Milwaukee and frankly might make Milwaukee a playoff team to be fair about it

03:28and right now they're about 500 right yeah uh they're kind of you know tinkering around with you know

03:34what are they with Giannis what are they without Giannis they're I think nine and eight with Giannis one

03:38and five without him if I have my numbers correct please fact check me on that so they're not a good

03:42great basketball team I think they become a 500 basketball team with those guys meaning they're in the

03:49playoffs or at least in the playing okay the playing and because they don't have their own

03:53first round pick there's no incentive for the bucks right now to tank because they don't have

03:58their own they're not going to tank because they don't have their own and the New York Knicks have

04:01two first rounders coming up one from Washington uh which is protected in the top eight so yeah that's

04:07not a great pick if you get one because it's terrible and their own pick is going to be you're

04:11hopefully 30th right um but there is a team out there and there's probably multiple teams out there

04:17to be fair that have a better package to offer and the first team to me that came to mind

04:24are the San Antonio Spurs because the San Antonio Spurs can give you your choice of Dylan Harper

04:32Darren Fox Harper of course is a rookie so it's like getting a first round draft pick and Harper's

04:37gotten off to a pretty good start yes in the NBA also castle the rainy rookie of the year as well

04:42could go in that package instead and I'm like you wouldn't take Harper and Fox because they both

04:47play guard but you one of the two I would take Harper because he's younger and he's got a better

04:52contract they would probably take home castles the rainy rookie of the year as you said he makes sense

04:57to me and they've got draft picks coming up now you're not getting as much talent today as what the

05:03Knicks could give you if you took some combination of what Tyrone was saying there but as much as I want

05:08him in New York as much as he has allegedly said to Milwaukee get a deal done with New York and this

05:15would be kind of like the Knicks getting Carmelo Anthony when they got him a guy still in his prime

05:20to come to New York or even Amari Stoudemire when they first got him from Phoenix they don't have

05:26the same amount of either draft capital in combination with current players as other teams do
