Following Tuesday’s season two finale, THR is looking at the biggest questions that remain for season three.

00:00Kati girl, Tobias. When I look at you, I know in my bones that in choosing each other,

00:08you have chosen perfectly.

00:12Season 2 of NBC's This Is Us was filled with plenty of sadness, but the finale ended on a happier note with,

00:18spoiler alert, Kate and Toby's wedding. Now, if you haven't watched yet, warning, many more spoilers ahead.

00:24During the finale, we also saw a flash-forward that showed Kate and Kevin a few months in the future,

00:29as well as Randall far in the future with a grown-up version of his eldest daughter, Tess.

00:34So, while the episode provided closure for many of Season 2's storylines, it also sparked plenty of questions.

00:40So, here are five burning questions we have for Season 3.

00:43First, who is the her future Randall is referring to? During a flash-forward to 10 or 15 years in the future,

00:50an older Randall visited his grown-up daughter Tess, a social worker at her office. He says,

00:55it's time to go see her, Tess. She responds, I'm not ready. Then Randall says, me neither.

01:00So, who the heck is this her? Are they referring to Tess's mother, Beth? Foster's sister, Deja?

01:05Co-show runner Elizabeth Berger told The Hollywood Reporter she can't say who her is, but,

01:10we'll definitely be following up on it in Season 3.

01:13Another question, is Beth dead? Some fans are convinced that Beth could be dead in the future.

01:18And who else is still alive in the future timeline? Berger wouldn't say, but she did promise that there will be more flash-forwards

01:24throughout the third season. And what happens to Toby? The night before the wedding,

01:28Toby's parents set him down to tell him they weren't sure he was making a good decision.

01:33They felt Kate was emotionally unstable and he needed to do too much of the emotional heavy lifting

01:38in the relationship, especially considering how deep of a depression he sunk into following his divorce.

01:43He rebuffed them, but the end of the episode flashed forward a few months in the new couple's life together

01:48to show Toby deeply depressed, and Kate telling him how the doctor wanted to adjust his meds.

01:53So what happened in those intervening months that brought Toby to this point?

01:56Next, how serious is Kevin about his new girlfriend, Zoe? The finale introduced Beth's cool cousin, Zoe,

02:02who was practically raised as her sister. In the season-ending flash-forward, Zoe and Kevin are cuddled together

02:08on a plane to Vietnam. Does that mean this relationship is going to last? Berger told THR,

02:13When we come back, we're going to be embarking on a new chapter with them, sort of discovering their romance

02:18and their relationship, and figuring out what they are. We can expect to see her for a while.

02:22And finally, what about Jack's past? Co-showrunner Isaac Aptaker previously told THR that the series

02:29will explore more of Jack's early life in season three, including the Pearson patriarch's time in the Vietnam War.

02:35Judging from the fact that Kevin is gazing at a photo of his young father during the war, it appears that might be one of the first new stories
