00:15I'm 88.

00:16And still working?

00:17Yes, I have to.

00:18Why do you have to keep working?

00:20Retired from General Motors in 99. In 2012 I went bankrupt and they took my pension away from it.

00:27Oh my gosh. Do you have a wife?

00:28She passed away seven years ago.

00:30Seven years ago.

00:32She was sick when I lost my pension.

00:34So you've been struggling a bit?

00:36A little bit.

00:37You said that you lost your pension?

00:40Yes, sir, I did. I was in the army back in 66.

00:44So you're a veteran too?

00:46Yes.

00:47The thing that hurt me the most was my wife was real sick.

00:52And when they took the pension, they also took the health care coverage.

00:56Yeah.

00:57And all but $10,000 of my life insurance.

01:01Oh my gosh.

01:02So I sold the house, sold the property I had, and we made it through.

01:07My wife died seven years ago.

01:09Since then I've been trying to reestablish myself.

01:12And you're working here how many days a week?

01:15I work five days a week, eight hours a day.

01:17And you do that because you have to?

01:20Yeah, I don't have enough income.

01:22What's your dream?

01:23To live somewhat the life I was hoping for.

01:27I'd like to share your story and try and get people to help you retire.
