00:00Diddy slams 50 Cent and Netflix over stolen footage in new docuseries.
00:05Sean Diddy Combs broke his silence, warning Netflix it should have never made a deal with 50 Cent,
00:11accusing the streamer of using stolen footage in Sean Combs' The Reckoning,
00:15which premieres on Tuesday, December 2nd. A teaser showed Combs, 56, in a heated strategy
00:21debate with his legal team in the days leading up to his September 2024 arrest on S trafficking
00:27charges. During a Good Morning America interview with Robin Roberts, executive producer 50 Cent said
00:33he was surprised Combs agreed to film, as footage aired alongside 50 Cent and director Alexandria
00:38Stapleton's chat with Roberts. Combs also called out Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos and the late Clarence Avent,
00:46widely known as The Black Godfather, in a scathing statement.
00:50Netflix's so-called documentary is a shameful hit piece, Combs said, according to Deadline.
00:56The statement ripped the streaming service for giving creative control to Curtis,
01:0050 Cent Jackson, a long-time adversary with a personal vendetta who has spent too much time
01:05slandering Mr. Combs. Today's GMA teaser confirms that Netflix relied on stolen footage that was
01:11never authorized for release, the statement alleged. In the teaser, Combs can be heard telling his legal
01:17team, we're losing. Combs is serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted on two counts of
01:22transportation to engage in prostitution, while he was acquitted of racketeering and S trafficking.
01:28After transferring from the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn to FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey,
01:34he hosted a Thanksgiving Day feast for fellow inmates and became a chaplain's assistant.
01:38Although Combs now has a release date, his legal woes continue. He has been hit with more than 50 civil
01:43lawsuits from both men and women, accusing him of a range of crimes and physical abuse,
01:48with claims dating back to the early 90s. Many of the lawsuits have been filed under New York
01:53state's Adult Survivors Act, which allows victims to file complaints after the statute of limitations has passed.
