00:00Yes guys, so I want to update you on my near-death experience, which it was. It's very, very scary.

00:10I caught an infection in Dubai. I immediately flew home because I felt so ill.

00:17I was then taken to my house where I had a little sleep. I was walking fine at the time,

00:24and then I woke up and I couldn't move. I had to phone my daughter to her because I knew she'd be awake

00:32because it was 6am. She got a little boy and she was my only chance to speak to someone.

00:38Fortunately, she answered. She called her mum. Her mum came round. We managed to get the ambulance to the house,

00:45took me to Whips Cross Hospital, and they diagnosed me with chronic pneumonia.

00:54I was put straight into intensive care where I spent 9 or 10 days, and now I'm in a respiratory ward.

01:03It's been an incredibly strong, painful experience. I can't get out of bed. I can't walk.

01:13I have to have two people help me to go to the toilet and stuff like that.

01:18It's just very, very difficult. But I'm on the mend.

01:22I've found pockets of phlegm and puss in my lungs, which needs to come out.

01:32So they've operated on me yesterday.

01:34I've got a tube coming out of me now, which goes into...

01:39It sucks all the puss out and etc.

01:41terier...

01:43...in order to clear my lungs.

01:45And I will feel that has helped me so much.

01:50And I feel so much confident that I will recover from this.

01:56And I'd just like to thank the NHS, especially for their help.

02:07I will keep you updated in the next few days

02:11progression

02:12but overall I'm happy

02:14and in a much better position

02:17mentally

02:18and physically

02:19to get me through this

02:22incredibly painful

02:27which is very very

02:30dangerous especially someone

02:32of my age

02:33but I'm doing alright

02:36thank you for all the love messages

02:43but Wayne's going nowhere

02:46I survived five day benders

02:48with no sleep

02:49just drugs and alcohol

02:50so this is a walk in the park for me

02:53and I will
