00:00Hello and welcome to the Dark Mystery Lounge. Today we are going to take a trip out to California to talk about Richard Ramirez, a.k.a. the Night Stalker, a man that struck fear into the hearts of everyone in California, and of course made an ass out of himself in court, making him even more infamous. So let's get into this one, shall we?
00:22Richard Ramirez was born Ricardo Leyva Munoz Ramirez on February 29, 1960, in El Paso, Texas, to Julián and Mercedes Ramirez. He was the youngest of five children.
00:39On a side note, fun fact, Richard is not only a leap year baby, but he shares his birthday with another notorious serial killer, Eileen Wuornos. She was born on Leap Day, 1956. Just thought that was interesting.
00:54Anyways, Richard's dad worked as a policeman in Juarez, Mexico, before moving to El Paso, working on the Santa Fe Railroad. Even though he was a hardworking man, he was an alcoholic and was prone to violent fits of anger, beating his wife and children. Even Richard wasn't spared from his father's beatings.
01:14When Richard was about six years old, he suffered a blow to the head from a piece of furniture, and then another one while on the playground from a swing. This resulted in Richard having seizures.
01:26At the age of 10, Richard started drinking, smoking weed, and hanging out with his older cousin, Miguel Mike Ramirez.
01:34Mike was a decorated Green Beret combat veteran who served during the Vietnam War. He not only bragged to Richard about awring and killing Vietnamese women, he even had Polaroid pictures to prove it. Some were of him dismembering and decapitating women.
01:50Richard saw these photos, and instead of being repulsed, he was fascinated. Mike taught him everything he learned while in the military, how to kill with stealth and staying hidden in the dark.
02:01During this same period of time, just to get away from his father's abuse, Richard would sleep in the local cemetery just for some peace.
02:09On May 4th, 1973, while Richard was hanging out with Mike, Mike's wife started arguing with him about getting a job.
02:17Mike casually walked to the fridge, pulled his gun out from the freezer, and shot his wife in the face, killing her.
02:24Richard witnessed the whole thing. He was not traumatized, but again was fascinated.
02:29Mike was found not guilty by reason of insanity for killing his wife, with the shooting attributed to post-traumatic stress disorder from his time in the military.
02:38He was sent to Texas State Mental Hospital.
02:42During this time, Richard became sullen and withdrawn from his family and friends.
02:47Not long after the murder, Richard moved out to get away from his father, and moved in with his older sister Ruth and her husband Roberto,
02:54who was an obsessive peeping Tom.
02:57And of course, he would take Richard along with him on his nightly adventures, watching women undress, or while they were in the bathroom.
03:05Of course, all of this exposure to violence and sex warped his sexual fantasies with women.
03:11His fantasies involved forced bondage, murder, mutilation, and art.
03:15He also started using LSD frequently.
03:18In 1977, Mike was released from the mental hospital, and joined in with Richard and Roberto on their nightly voyeuristic adventures.
03:26Richard and Mike resumed bonding over their shared use of drugs and alcohol, mainly cocaine.
03:32It was during this period that Richard began to cultivate an interest in Satanism and the occult.
03:38While still in school, he took a job at a local Holiday Inn, and used his master key to rob sleeping patrons.
03:44Well, one night, he used his master key to get into the hotel room of a couple.
03:50While the husband was out of the room, Richard attempted to R the wife.
03:54The husband returned to the room, catching Richard in the act, and beat the mess out of him.
03:59Needless to say, Richard was fired, and the criminal charges were dropped due to the couple, who lived out of state,
04:06declined to return to Texas to testify against him.
04:09He dropped out of high school in the ninth grade, and in 1982, he moved to California.
04:15Once there, he was like a kid in a candy store.
04:18He committed thefts in order to pay for his cocaine habit, and moved nomadically from San Francisco and Los Angeles County.
04:25But soon, theft wasn't going to be enough to feed what Richard was looking for.
04:29Richard moved into an apartment in the Tenderloin District of San Francisco.
04:39On April 10, 1984, Richard spotted a nine-year-old little girl named Mi Leung in his apartment building.
04:47The little girl was with her eight-year-old brother, trying to find a lost one-dollar bill.
04:53Richard took her to the basement, telling her that he was going to help her find it.
04:57Once they were in the basement, Richard beat, strangled, and R'd her, then stabbed her to death with a switchblade.
05:05The killing was not linked to Richard until 2009, when his DNA was matched to a sample obtained at the crime scene.
05:13Over two months later, on June 28, 1984, Richard broke into the apartment of 79-year-old Jenny Venkow in Glassville Park, Los Angeles.
05:24He stabbed her repeatedly in the head, neck, and chest while asleep in her bed, and he slashed her throat so deeply that she was nearly decapitated.
05:35Police found fingerprints on the mesh screen he removed to gain access through an open window.
05:41Then eight months go by before Richard strikes again.
05:44On February 20, 1985, the bodies of 58-year-old Christina Cardwell and her sister, 70-year-old Mary, were found stabbed to death in their Telegraph Hill apartment in San Francisco.
05:59About a month later, on March 17, 22-year-old Maria Hernandez pulled into the garage of her condo in Rosemead.
06:08As she was making her way inside, she was attacked by Richard.
06:12He shot her in the face with a .22 caliber handgun.
06:16Just out of sheer luck, she survived when the bullet ricocheted off the keys she held in her hand as she lifted them to protect herself.
06:24She played dead as Richard made his way inside the home, where Maria's roommate, 34-year-old Dale Okazaki, was hiding in the kitchen.
06:33When she heard the gunshot, she ducked behind the counter.
06:37When she raised her head to get a look at what had happened, he shot Dale once in the forehead, killing her instantly.
06:44He fled the scene, and within an hour, after the home invasion, Richard pulled 30-year-old Veronica Yu out of her car in Monterey Park,
06:54shot her twice with the same gun, and then fled.
06:58She was pronounced dead upon arrival to the hospital.
07:00The two murders, and an attempted third, in a single day, attracted extensive coverage from news media,
07:08who initially dubbed the attacker, described as curly-haired with bulging eyes and wide-spaced, rotting teeth,
07:16the walking killer and the valley intruder.
07:20On March 27th, Richard entered the home of 64-year-old Vincent Cazara and his wife, 44-year-old Maxine.
07:28This is the second time Richard has burglarized his home, just outside of Whittier.
07:34He shot Vincent while he was sleeping.
07:36The noise woke up Maxine.
07:38Richard beat her and bound her hands, and demanded to know where her valuables are.
07:44While he ransacked the room, Maxine managed to escape her restraints,
07:48and reached for a shotgun that was just underneath the bed.
07:51She aimed it at Richard, as he was turning around.
07:55She pulled the trigger, and click!
07:58It wasn't loaded.
07:59This just pissed off Richard.
08:01He shot Maxine three times, killing her.
08:04Then he got a knife from the kitchen.
08:06He mutilated Maxine's body by cutting an inverted cross on her chest,
08:11then removed her eyes with a knife, and placed them in a jewelry box.
08:15He attempted to have sex with her body, but found himself so shaken by her attempting to shoot him,
08:22that he was unable to achieve an erection.
08:24He took the jewelry box with him, and kept it in his apartment.
08:28The Cazara's son discovered their bodies.
08:32When police investigated the crime, they noticed the same shell casings from the previous attacks,
08:37but there was a new piece of evidence found, a shoe print, in the flower bed outside of the home,
08:43which police photographed and cast.
08:46The detectives put two and two together, and realized there was a serial killer on the loose.
08:52On May 14th, Richard went back to Monterey Park,
08:56and broke into the home of 66-year-old Bill Doyle, and his disabled wife, 56-year-old Lillian.
09:04He surprised Bill in his bedroom.
09:05Richard shot him in the face, as Bill was trying to reach for his own gun.
09:10He beat Bill into unconsciousness, then entered Lillian's room,
09:15bound her with thumb cuffs, then R'd her after he ransacked the home for valuables.
09:20Bill died from his injuries while in the hospital.
09:24On the night of May 29th, Richard drove a stolen car to Monrovia,
09:29and stopped at the house of 83-year-old Mabel and her disabled sister, 81-year-old Florence.
09:36Using a hammer he found in the kitchen, Richard beat and tied up Florence.
09:41Then he beat and tied up Mabel before using an electrical cord to shock her.
09:46After R'ing Florence, he used Mabel's lipstick to draw a pentagram on her thigh,
09:52as well as on the walls of both bedrooms.
09:55The sisters were found alive, but comatose, and critically injured two days later.
10:01Mabel died of her injuries in the hospital.
10:03The next day, Richard drove to Burbank and snuck into the home of 42-year-old Carol Kyle.
10:11At gunpoint, he bound Carol and her 11-year-old son with handcuffs, then ransacked the house.
10:18He released Carol to direct him where the family valuables were.
10:22He then R'd her repeatedly.
10:24Richard also repeatedly ordered her not to look at him,
10:28telling her at one point that he would cut her eyes out.
10:31He fled the scene after retrieving the child from the closet
10:34and binding the two together again with the handcuffs.
10:39On the night of June 27th, 32-year-old Patty Higgins was murdered in her Arcadia home.
10:46Her body was not discovered until July 2nd, when she did not show up for work.
10:51Her attacker had sodomized her, strangled her, and slashed her throat.
10:55On July 2nd, Richard drove to Arcadia and broke into the home of 75-year-old Mary Cannon.
11:04After quietly entering the home, he found her asleep in her bedroom.
11:08He beat her into unconsciousness with a lamp
11:11and then stabbed her to death using a 10-inch butcher knife from her kitchen.
11:15On July 5th, Richard broke into a home in Sierra Madre
11:20and beat 16-year-old Whitney Bennett with a tire iron as she slept in her bedroom.
11:27After searching in vain for a knife in the kitchen,
11:30Richard tried to strangle the girl with a telephone cord.
11:33He stated that he was startled to see electrical sparks emanate from the cord,
11:38and when his victim began to breathe,
11:40he fled the house believing that Jesus Christ had intervened and saved her.
11:45Whitney survived after receiving 478 stitches to close up her wounds on her scalp.
11:53Just two days later, on July 7th,
11:56Richard burglarized the home of 60-year-old Joyce Nelson in Monterey Park.
12:02She was asleep on the couch when he entered the home.
12:05He beat her to death by stomping on her face repeatedly.
12:09A shoe print from an avia sneaker was left imprinted on her face.
12:13On July 20th, Richard purchased a machete before driving a stolen Toyota to Glendale.
12:20He broke into the home of 68-year-old Maxson Needing and his wife, 66-year-old Layla.
12:27He burst into the sleeping couple's bedroom and hacked them with a machete,
12:32then killed them with shots to the head.
12:34He further mutilated their bodies with the machete before robbing the house.
12:39On the same night, he broke into another home, shooting the husband while he was sleeping,
12:46killing him instantly, then R'd and beat the wife.
12:49Richard tied up their 8-year-old son before dragging the wife around the house
12:54to reveal the locations of any valuable items.
12:57Before fleeing the scene, he demanded that she swear to Satan
13:01that she was not hiding any money from him.
13:03On August 8th, Richard drove to Diamond Bar and broke into the home of 31-year-old Elias
13:10and his wife, Sakina.
13:12He entered the master bedroom where the couple was sleeping, shot, and killed Elias.
13:17He handcuffed and beat Sakina while forcing her to reveal the locations of any family jewelry
13:23and then brutally R'ing her.
13:24He repeatedly demanded that she swear to Satan that she would not scream during his assault.
13:30When the couple's 3-year-old son entered the bedroom, Richard tied the child up
13:36and then continued to R.R. Sakina.
13:39After Richard left the home, Sakina untied her son and sent him to the neighbors for help.
13:45Richard, who had been following the media coverage of his crimes,
13:49left the Los Angeles area and headed to San Francisco.
13:53Once he got there, on August 18th, he broke into the home of Peter and Barbara Pan.
13:59He shot Peter in his sleep and essayed Barbara, then shot her in the head, leaving her there to die.
14:06Richard used lipstick to draw a pentagram and the phrase,
14:09Jack the Knife, on the bedroom wall.
14:12Once again, Richard left a shoe print at the scene of the crime.
14:16Lead detectives Frank Salerno and Gil Carrillo
14:20found out that this was no ordinary run-of-the-mill sneaker.
14:23They contacted the manufacturer of Avia's shoes and were able to retrieve the soles.
14:30And upon discovery of the make and distribution across the United States,
14:35only six of them existed in men's size 11 1⁄2,
14:39with five of them shipped to locations in Arizona,
14:42and one shipped to a shoe store in Los Angeles.
14:45It was evident that the one pair of its size and kind in the state of California
14:51then belonged to the Night Stalker.
14:54When it was discovered that the ballistics and shoe print evidence
14:58from Los Angeles crime scene matched the pan-crime scene in San Francisco,
15:03then-Mayor decided to hold a press conference.
15:06Not only did she instill more fear into the public,
15:10telling them to lock their windows and doors, which they already were,
15:13she also leaked all the evidence the detectives had gathered.
15:18The gun caliber, the shoes, everything.
15:21But then again, no one has ever said politicians were smart.
15:25By the way, this was around the same time that the killer was referred to as the Night Stalker.
15:31Well, this press conference did more harm than good.
15:34Yes, it scared the public even further,
15:36buying better locks and security systems for their homes,
15:39and keeping their windows shut at night despite the heat.
15:42It pissed off the detectives because they knew that the killer was watching
15:47and would destroy any crucial forensic evidence.
15:50Well, he did just that.
15:52On the same night, Richard took his sneakers and tossed them off the Golden Gate Bridge.
15:58He ended up leaving San Francisco a few days later and headed back to L.A.
16:02On August 24th, Richard drove 76 miles south of Los Angeles in a stolen orange Toyota to Mission Vejo.
16:12That night, he arrived at the home of 45-year-old James Romero Jr.,
16:17who had just returned from a family vacation.
16:20Romero's son, 13-year-old James Romero III, happened to be awake.
16:25While his family was asleep, James went outside of his house to retrieve a pillow inside their truck, which was locked.
16:33While outside, James heard a rustling noise.
16:35He thought it might be an animal.
16:37He went to investigate but saw nothing unusual.
16:41James then went to his garage to begin working on his minibike before hearing footsteps outside of the house.
16:47Thinking that there was a prowler, James, after observing Richard through his bedroom window, went to wake his parents,
16:55and Richard fled the scene.
16:57James raced outside and noted the color, make, and model of the car, as well as a partial license plate number.
17:04Romero contacted police with this information, believing James had chased away a thief.
17:10The same night, Richard broke into a different house.
17:12He entered the back door of the home of 30-year-old Bill Carnes and his fiancée, 29-year-old Inez Erickson.
17:21He shot Bill three times in the head before turning his attention to Inez.
17:26Richard told her that he was the night stalker and forced her to swear she loved Satan
17:31as he beat her with his fist and bound her with a necktie from the closet.
17:36He steals what he could find before arring her.
17:39He then demanded cash and more jewelry, and made her swear to Satan there was no more.
17:45Before leaving the home, Richard told Inez, quote,
17:49tell them the night stalker was here, unquote.
17:52She untied herself and went to the neighbor's house for help.
17:56Bill was taken to the hospital, and he survived his injuries.
17:59Inez gave a detailed description of the assailant to the investigators,
18:11and they were able to cast the footprint found at the Romero's home.
18:15But the biggest break came when they found the stolen orange Toyota on August 28th.
18:21See, normally before Richard abandons a car that he had stolen,
18:25he would wipe it down to get rid of any fingerprints.
18:28Well, this time he wasn't so careful,
18:31because he left one fingerprint on the rearview mirror.
18:35The print was ran, and they got the name Richard Ramirez,
18:38a 25-year-old drifter from Texas,
18:41who had a long rap sheet that included many arrests for traffic and illegal drug violations.
18:48On August 29th, law enforcement officials decided to release a mugshot of Ramirez
18:53from a 1984 arrest for auto theft to the media.
18:58At the police press conference, it was announced,
19:01quote,
19:01We know who you are now, and soon everyone else will.
19:05There will be no place you can hide, unquote.
19:07A bold statement, basically challenging Richard.
19:11The next day, August 30th,
19:13Richard takes the bus to Tucson, Arizona, to visit his brother.
19:17Unaware of the fact that his name and face were plastered everywhere in California.
19:22He failed to meet with his brother, so he hops on the bus back to L.A.
19:27He returns in the early morning of August 31st, 1985.
19:32Police were staking out the bus station, hoping to catch Richard leaving L.A.
19:37Instead, they missed him as he left the station
19:39and headed to a convenience store in East Los Angeles,
19:44which is a pretty rough part of town.
19:46He went to buy some candy when he noticed his face on the newspaper.
19:50People were staring at him.
19:52A group of elderly Hispanic women fearfully identified him as El Matador, the killer.
19:58So he took off running.
20:00After running across the Santa Fe freeway,
20:04jumping fences,
20:04he attempted to carjack a Ford Mustang that was unlocked.
20:08What this dumbass didn't know was that the owner of the car
20:12was underneath the car working on it.
20:15He heard the car start up and got out quickly
20:17and grabbed Richard by the neck and started beating the mess out of him.
20:22Richard ran across the street,
20:24trying to steal the keys from another lady,
20:26but her husband came at Richard with a metal fence post.
20:30At this point, there was a mob of people beating the crap out of Richard
20:33until police finally arrived on Hubbard Street,
20:36where they arrested Richard, who was pretty beaten up and unarmed.
20:40Finally, the Night Stalker's reign of terror was over.
20:48Arresting Richard was tough.
20:51Getting his butt to court and cooperating was a whole other story.
20:54At his arraignment in October 1985,
20:58Richard raised a hand with a pentagram drawn on it
21:00and yelled, Hail Satan,
21:02which only shows how much of a prize-winning jackass he is.
21:06This was during the time of satanic panic.
21:09Numerous stalling tactics were used to try and delay the trial
21:12for as long as humanly possible.
21:14First, the problem was with his lawyers.
21:17The public defenders he was assigned to,
21:19he didn't like them.
21:20Another defense attorney was assigned
21:22and was also dismissed.
21:23So, Richard's family appointed attorneys for him.
21:27Jury selection for the trial began on July 22, 1988.
21:32On August 3, 1988,
21:34it was reported by the LA Times
21:36that some jail employees had overheard
21:39Richard say he planned to shoot the prosecutor
21:42and that someone was going to slip him a gun
21:44while in the courtroom.
21:46A metal detector was then installed outside of the courtroom
21:49and everyone, lawyers included,
21:52were searched.
21:53Richard, however,
21:55appeared to be shocked by this
21:56and no gun was ever found
21:58on his person or anyone else's.
22:01Once trial finally began in 1989,
22:04there were groupies in the courtroom
22:06every day during the trial,
22:08believing that Richard was innocent.
22:10During the trial,
22:11he would glance at them with a smile.
22:13But for the most part,
22:14Richard just acted bored,
22:16not taking any of what he did seriously.
22:19On April 14,
22:20after using 137 witnesses
22:24and 521 exhibits,
22:27the prosecution rested.
22:29The defense team first claimed
22:31that the prosecution's evidence
22:32was inconclusive.
22:34They stated the fact that there were
22:36many fingerprints at the crime scene
22:38that remained unidentified,
22:40that hairs and blood samples were found
22:43that did not belong to the victims
22:44nor Richard.
22:46They also had Richard's father
22:47take the stand to say that Richard
22:49had been in El Paso, Texas
22:51for eight days
22:52starting around May 24, 1985.
22:56A R-victim had stated
22:58Richard was at her home
22:59on Memorial Day
23:00and another attack,
23:02which had ended in murder,
23:03had occurred between
23:04May 29 and June 1.
23:07Witnesses for the prosecution
23:09contradicted Richard's father's statement
23:11by showing that Richard
23:13was in fact in Los Angeles,
23:15where he was having dental work done.
23:17At the time that his father claimed
23:19he was in El Paso.
23:21Comparison of Richard's teeth
23:22to dental charts
23:24proved this to indeed be true,
23:25even though Richard had used
23:27an alias at the time.
23:28David Hancock,
23:29a newspaper reporter,
23:31also contradicted Richard's father's statement
23:33by telling the court
23:35how he had interviewed him
23:36in August 1985
23:38and he had stated
23:39he hadn't seen his son for two years.
23:41So even his father was lying in court.
23:44The jury finally started deliberations
23:46on July 26th.
23:48They had 8,000 pages
23:50of trial transcripts
23:51and also 655 exhibits to consider.
23:55Within a week,
23:56one juror,
23:57who kept falling asleep,
23:59was replaced.
24:00On August 14th,
24:01one of the jurors didn't show up.
24:03Later that day,
24:04she was found shot to death
24:06in her apartment.
24:07The remaining jurors
24:08were terrified.
24:09They thought that Richard
24:10sent someone to her home
24:12to kill her.
24:13But that turned out
24:13not to be the case.
24:15The next day,
24:16the judge informed the jurors
24:18that she was murdered
24:19by her abusive boyfriend.
24:21Then more news came out
24:22that the boyfriend
24:23ended his own life
24:24in a hotel room
24:25using the same gun.
24:27She was replaced
24:28with another juror
24:29that was so scared
24:30she couldn't even walk
24:31to her place in court.
24:33On September 20th, 1989,
24:36the jury stated
24:37that they had finally reached
24:38a unanimous decision.
24:39Neither Richard
24:41nor his band of groupies
24:42attended this hearing.
24:44Richard was convicted
24:45of all 43 charges,
24:4813 counts of murder,
24:495 attempted murders,
24:5111 SAs,
24:52and 14 burglaries.
24:54When asked by his defense team
24:56to assist with the penalty phase,
24:59Richard responded,
25:00quote,
25:00Dying doesn't scare me.
25:02I'll be in hell with Satan.
25:04Unquote.
25:04Then he stated
25:05that he would not beg
25:06for his life.
25:07So to everyone's utmost shock,
25:09they offered no witnesses
25:10and Richard was not called
25:12to plea for his life either.
25:15On November 7th, 1989,
25:17he was sentenced to death
25:18in California's gas chamber.
25:20His groupies were crying.
25:22When he was leaving the courtroom,
25:24he told the reporters,
25:25quote,
25:26Big deal.
25:27Death was always a part
25:28of the territory.
25:29See you in Disneyland.
25:30Unquote.
25:31Richard was sent to California's
25:38San Quentin State Prison's
25:40death row.
25:41He kept himself busy,
25:42especially with his female fans,
25:45who would write
25:45and visit him often.
25:47He finally chose one of them
25:48to be his bride.
25:50Doreen Loy,
25:51who's started writing Richard
25:52since 1985,
25:54believed that he was innocent.
25:55The only reason why she stood out
25:57from the rest of the women
25:58was because she's a virgin.
26:00In 1988,
26:02Richard proposed to Doreen
26:03and on October 3rd, 1996,
26:06they were married
26:07in California's
26:08San Quentin State Prison.
26:10For many years,
26:11Doreen stated that she would
26:12end her own life
26:13when Richard was executed.
26:16However,
26:16plans changed when she found out
26:18that Richard wasn't innocent
26:19after all.
26:21When in 2009,
26:22DNA confirmed that he had
26:24arred and murdered
26:25nine-year-old
26:26Mie Leon,
26:27his first victim,
26:28she cut ties with him.
26:30Despite Richard not fearing death,
26:32he continued with his appeals,
26:34which dragged on for many years.
26:36On June 7th, 2013,
26:39Richard died from B-cell lymphoma.
26:41He also suffered from hepatitis C
26:43for years.
26:44He was 53 years old.
26:46He was cremated
26:47and a memorial service was held
26:49shortly after the cremation
26:51by his family.
26:52There is always going to be
26:54a continuing argument
26:55amongst people
26:56as to whether serial killers
26:58are either born a psychopath
27:00or made a psychopath.
27:02According to psychiatrist
27:03Michael Stone,
27:05he describes Richard
27:06as a made psychopath
27:07as opposed to a born psychopath.
27:10He says that Richard's
27:11schizoid personality disorder
27:13contributed to his indifference
27:15to the suffering of his victims
27:17and his untreatability.
27:19He also stated that Richard
27:20was knocked unconscious
27:22and almost died
27:23on multiple occasions
27:24before he was six years old
27:26and as a result,
27:27later developed
27:28temporal lobe epilepsy,
27:30aggressivity,
27:30and hypersexuality.
27:32This explains why he showed
27:34no remorse for what he did
27:35and how much pain he caused
27:37to so many people.
27:38And that's why
27:39I'm glad this monster is dead.
27:47When it comes to old Richard
27:48and what he did,
27:50I think his family upbringing
27:51played a pretty big part
27:52of his mindset and behavior.
27:54From his cousin
27:55who showed him horrible pictures
27:57and murdering his own wife
27:58in front of Richard,
27:59to his brother-in-law
28:01who brought him along
28:02on his Peeping Tom adventures
28:04at night.
28:05Of course,
28:05a lot of people thought
28:07that the music he listened to
28:08influenced him,
28:10like ACDC and Judas Priest,
28:12which were some of his favorite bands.
28:14But I don't believe
28:15that to be true.
28:16I wonder if he would have been
28:17brought up differently,
28:19would he have still became
28:20the Night Stalker?
28:21I guess that's something
28:22we'll never know.
