00:00M Toys, Tom Holland back to school season action figure, $129.
00:06Now the only thing is here, this is a bit creepy for me because this is not a Spider-Man doll,
00:11this is just me.
00:12This means that someone has just got a doll of me in their house and I don't like it.
00:17Hey what's up guys, it's Tom Holland here, I'm about to do GQ's shopping spree, let's
00:22go.
00:23We're going on a trip, on our favourite rocket ship, okay so the first category is snacks,
00:43so let's do this.
00:44The first one is, is auntie's spotted dicks, now that is a bit of me.
00:48Put it in the microwave, bit of custard maybe if you're feeling saucy.
00:53I love spotted dicks and the fact that it's your auntie's makes it feel homemade, I like
00:57that, I'd buy that.
00:58Our next one is Cricket Bites, 5 pack of assorted flavoured edible insects, like actual insects.
01:08I've actually eaten insects before in Thailand and they were delicious and they're full of
01:12protein, yeah look, 6 grams of protein, I would buy those, I would absolutely eat those.
01:16The full of amino acids, great for building muscle, yeah, I'd go for the Cricket Bites.
01:21I wouldn't go for cheesy ranch though, buffalo wing sauce, yeah, spicy cayenne peppers, but
01:26definitely not cheesy insects.
01:28Moving on.
01:29How do I say that, McViddy's.
01:31McViddy's milk chocolate hobnobs, I'm not really a biscuit kind of guy.
01:37It says here suitable for vegetarians, what kind of biscuit isn't suitable for vegetarians?
01:44Has anyone in here heard of a meat biscuit?
01:45No?
01:46I don't think they need to advertise it like that, I think that's pretty clear that it's
01:50vegetarian.
01:51I'm going to go for a no on the milk chocolate hobnobs.
01:54St. Eric's Crisps, $60.
01:56Designed to accompany St. Eric's Premium Beer, I like that.
02:00Chips are cooked using some of the most rare Nordic ingredients.
02:02That seems like they're doing a little bit too much work for a crisp.
02:09They do look nice though, they come in lovely packaging, but imagine if you went to someone's
02:13house and you gave them this beautiful box as a gift, they'd be really excited.
02:17Oh wow, St. Eric's, what's that, a watch maybe, nice set of cutlery, could be anything.
02:22No, it's actually just five crisps, you'd be really disappointed, I'd be furious actually.
02:27If someone showed up to my house and gave me this as a gift, I'd ask them to leave.
02:30But also St. Eric's, I would love to try your crisps.
02:33So if you feel like sending me some, that would be great.
02:36I've just found out I'm only allowed to pick one, okay, there's a budget to this game,
02:40but because the snacks are so cheap, I'm going to break the rules and I'm going to take...
02:44Spotted Dick is coming home with me.
02:46The crickets, I'm going to try them, no hobnobs, and I think I'm going to have to try these
02:51St. Eric's Crisps, I'm just going to have to try them.
02:57The next one, sports tickets, we're going to have a look at some sporting events.
03:02The 2022 Super Bowl starting at $50,000, is that how much it costs to go to the Super Bowl?
03:08$50,000.
03:10I don't really know that much about American football, I don't know the rules,
03:14so I think that ticket would be wasted on me.
03:162022 Masters, Saturday to Sunday, $6,399.
03:23Now, I would love to go, but the thing is, is I've already been, and the time that I went
03:27was in the height of COVID, so it was empty.
03:30So you could walk around the course, we got to see all the players play.
03:34So if I was to go again, it would never be as good as the first time I went.
03:40So I think I've done the Masters now.
03:42I don't think I'll ever go again.
03:442022 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest.
03:48Oh, it's for free.
03:50Listen, there are starving kids in the world, so you couldn't pay me to go to this contest.
03:54So that is a big no from me, wasting food.
03:582022 Champions League Final, take my money, I'm going.
04:01That's where I'll be, $5,356.88, could get a few tickets.
04:08Does it come with a few tickets, or am I just going by myself?
04:11Yeah, I could buy two tickets.
04:12I'll take my brother Harry, I'll get another ticket for Sam.
04:15GQ's paying for this, remember, so it doesn't really matter.
04:18Right, GQ?
04:21Who would you want to see play in the Champions League Final, if you could pick two teams?
04:25I'd want to see Tottenham play Brentford, because Tottenham's my team and Brentford is my uncle's team.
04:30And we would, well, probably right now we wouldn't beat Brentford, but I fancy our chances.
04:35Sports tickets summary.
04:37It's going to have to be the Champions League Final.
04:40That's it, that's all I can afford right now.
04:42I can't bring everyone.
04:43That's where I'll be going.
04:45Working out is a big part of my life.
04:47Admittedly, I haven't been working out at all.
04:49Let's get into some workout gear.
04:51Here we go.
04:51The Normatec Recovery Compression Pants, $1,549.
04:57Yeah, I could see myself using one of those.
05:00You know, when I'm doing the Spider-Man films, I do get really tired and my legs do really hurt,
05:04so it's definitely on the maybe, on the maybe list.
05:07The Theragun Pro, $599.
05:10I've already got one, but it's not a Theragun, it's a different one.
05:14I like it, but maybe the Theragun's better.
05:16Who knows?
05:16This one has a little screen on it, it looks like, so it can tell you how hard it's punching you.
05:22The Agata Rower, $2,199.
05:26Now, rowing machine is an excellent way of getting cardio in.
05:30It works the whole upper body, it works your legs, it works your calves.
05:33I think it's an excellent piece of kit, so I'm going to put that on the maybe list.
05:37I like that a lot.
05:37And it also looks very nice.
05:38It's quite tasteful.
05:39It has the water in it, not the fan, so I'm sure you get the nice sort of sloshing water
05:44sound as you're doing it, which makes you feel like you're rowing.
05:46That looks mustard.
05:47And it's got a screen on it, so maybe a Peloton-style rowing machine is my next purchase.
05:55We will see.
05:57Kangaroo Jumping Shoes, $249, reduces impact on joints and muscles by up to 80%.
06:05Yeah, but in the 80% that you save in your joints and muscle fibres, you lose
06:11because you look like an absolute donut running around in these stupid shoes.
06:17I'm going to have to say the kangaroo shoes are not for me.
06:22So, as far as gym equipment goes, the summary, I'm going to go for the rowing machine,
06:29because I think that would be great.
06:30I'd use it a lot and I think I'd have a lot of fun doing it too.
06:33That is added to cart.
06:36Okay, action figures.
06:38Nice.
06:39ML Legends, Avenger, Iron Spider, Spidey, Tom Holland, 6.
06:44Loose action figure.
06:46It doesn't look like me very much, but I can appreciate some attention to detail with the suit.
06:51We'll put that on the maybe list.
06:53Marvel Legends, Avengers, Gameverse, Spider-Man, Tom Holland, Far From Home figure.
06:58See, that's weird that they've put my face on the Spider-Man from the game,
07:02because I'm not in the game.
07:03That's a strange little multiverse thing going on there.
07:06I like that.
07:06It's cool.
07:07M Toys, Tom Holland, Back to School Season action figure, $129.
07:12Now, the only thing is here, this is a bit creepy for me, because this is not a Spider-Man doll.
07:18This is just me.
07:19This means that someone has just got a doll of me in their house and I don't like it.
07:24It creeps me out that it comes with a whole selection of different hands.
07:27And sometimes I get jealous that the doll's better looking than I am.
07:31That's when you're all supposed to say, no, Tom, you're way better looking than the doll.
07:36Funko Pops.
07:37I love Funko Pops.
07:3843 bucks, worth every penny.
07:40I think they're really cool.
07:41I've actually collected all of my Funko Pops.
07:43I kept them in my house for a long time, but then it kind of got to the point where it looked
07:47like I had a shrine for myself and I had to get rid of them because it was quite embarrassing.
07:51So they're in a cupboard, but I love them and keep making them.
07:55I think they're brilliant.
07:55So in summary, I'm going to go for the Funko Pops because I think they're cute and I like them.
08:05We're going on a trip on our favorite rocket ship.
08:08Let's do this.
08:09Christmas, Japanese snowboarding, ski in, ski out.
08:12$51,043.
08:15Why do they bother with the $43?
08:18What is the $43 getting you extra?
08:22Is it an extra glass of champagne upon arrival?
08:25It's unnecessary.
08:26But that said, I've heard that skiing or I snowboard in Japan is one of the best places
08:33in the world to do it.
08:34They have the best snow.
08:35I would love to go.
08:36I love Japan.
08:38I love Japanese culture.
08:39I'm always looking for a reason to go back.
08:41So this is probably going to be very high on my list.
08:44A yacht festival in Croatia, $3,048 per person.
08:50Seven nights, a 45 foot catamaran, ultra festival and 10 people.
08:56I'm not sure about that one.
08:57I guess you could leave at any time.
08:59If you're having a bad time, you could just get your boat and go and leave.
09:02But that to me just seems like one of my friends is going to drown.
09:05I'm not a huge fan of that.
09:06That's definitely on the no list.
09:08A five night Western Caribbean cruise from Miami with Marvel Day at sea.
09:14$5,997.34.
09:18Again, why 34 cents for two people?
09:22Going on a cruise is my worst nightmare.
09:24I've been on one.
09:24I had a really good time.
09:26But now that my life has changed.
09:28I don't think being on a boat where you can't get off is a good idea.
09:32Okay, so trips away.
09:35Unfortunately, it's going to have to be the most expensive one.
09:37So maybe in the year of 2022, I'm going to go on holiday once.
09:41Just really splurge for once, you know, I'm really enjoying myself.
09:45But I'm going to go to Japan.
09:46I can't wait.
09:46I'm really excited.
09:47Thanks, GQ.
09:48I can't wait.
09:53Who am I taking to Japan with me?
09:56That's none of your business.
09:58Moving on.
10:00We're now going to look at homes.
10:02So here we go.
10:02Homes.
10:03The first one is Saint-Tropez Modern Estate.
10:0698,573,582 dollars.
10:13So it's cheap.
10:1412 bed, 12 bath.
10:164.6 acre, 3 villas, 3 black marble swimming pools.
10:18That's not a small house.
10:19Hey, that's, that's, this is a big old house.
10:21It sounds wonderful.
10:22I will say that 98 million is a, that's a lot of money for a house.
10:26That's far more money than I think anyone should be spending on a house.
10:30But we'll, we'll keep it on the list.
10:32Because remember, GQ are buying me these things.
10:36Right?
10:37Private island in Key Largo, Florida.
10:41Price upon request.
10:42So you know this place is absolutely ridiculously expensive.
10:4510 bed, 11 bath, 26 acres, 10 minute helicopter to South Beach.
10:50Self-sufficient with water, electricity, etc.
10:53I don't like helicopters.
10:54I'm scared of them.
10:55So I'm going to have to take that part of it off the list.
10:57It's going to have to be a boat ride for me.
10:59The next one is a ranch in Colorado.
11:02I like the idea of that.
11:03It's a cool 60 million dollars.
11:055,908.4 acres.
11:09So slightly bigger.
11:10So I don't think I'm going to buy this ranch.
11:12The next one is an English house.
11:14I like that.
11:14It's 1.1 million dollars.
11:16Herbert Road, Kingston upon Thames.
11:18That's where I live.
11:19Freehold, three, four bedrooms.
11:22It says three, four bedrooms.
11:23What does that mean?
11:24There's a bedroom that could be a bedroom.
11:26Wraparound garden.
11:27That's a nice feature.
11:28Popular and convenient location.
11:30And it's semi-detached.
11:31I mean, it looks really nice inside.
11:33Kingston's where I grew up.
11:34It's where I live.
11:35I love it to bits.
11:36Lovely people.
11:37It's really good for young people.
11:38It's great for schools.
11:39There's lots to do.
11:40Is this for sale now, this house?
11:42I think anyone spending 98 million dollars on a house or 60 million dollars on a house is
11:48wasting money.
11:49I think 1.1 million is, I think that's a pretty respectable price range in today's world,
11:55especially in London.
11:56I'd love to buy a house for my granny so she can come and live in Kingston.
12:00So it's going to have to be the English house.
12:03Okay, skincare.
12:06The Omnilux Contour Face.
12:08Now, embarrassingly, I actually have one of these.
12:11I use it in the morning in the car ride on the way to work.
12:14Does it do anything?
12:15Probably not, but it makes me feel good about myself.
12:17So, yeah.
12:19395 dollars.
12:20I didn't buy it.
12:21Sony bought it for me.
12:22Thank you, Sony.
12:23I don't think they know they bought it for me.
12:25It just went on a list of expenses.
12:27The Trezor Rare Intensive Recovery Japanese Binchotan Zumi Mask.
12:345,000 dollars.
12:36Wow.
12:37Hishu Binchotan Charcoal.
12:39It's from a tree that has been growing in Japan since 1688.
12:41Okay, so this double-layered mask contains positive ions and excellent age-defying and
12:43lifting plant extracts for a complete overall skin treatment.
12:455,000 dollars.
12:46That's a lot of money for a face mask.
12:49Yeah, I'm going to have to give that a pass.
12:51The Benton Snail Bee Mask Pack.
12:5320 dollars.
12:54Packer 10 contains snail secretion filtrate, which is known to heal the exterior of snails
13:02when wounded.
13:03It contains bee venom, which is effective in improving skin concerns.
13:07Now, one big question is when you extract the bee venom, do you kill the bees?
13:12Probably, right?
13:14And we need bees.
13:15Bees are the most important thing on the planet.
13:17So, I'm going to have to say no to the snail shit and bee venom.
13:22Face mask.
13:25Moving on.
13:26Okay, St. Ives Apricot Face Sheet.
13:28I don't need to read anymore.
13:29I love these things.
13:30I bring them on airplanes because airplanes is where it's really dry and your skin gets dry.
13:34And it's always the case that wherever you're flying, as soon as you get off the plane,
13:38you have to go to work.
13:39So, I use those to sleep while I'm on an airplane.
13:42So, I think I'll probably buy loads of those.
13:44Of all of the products here, I'd love to try them all, but it's going to have to be
13:51the St. Ives Apricot Face.
13:53So, of my imaginary allowance, I have spent 1.1 million dollars,
14:01which I actually think is pretty reasonable.
14:03You know, I've got a house.
14:04I've got some really nice snacks.
14:06I've got a rowing machine.
14:08I'm taking my brothers to the Champions League final.
14:10I've got some face masks.
14:12So, the flight over to St. Petersburg, we're going to have really nice, moist faces,
14:16which is going to be great for the football final.
14:19And, yeah, I'm really glad that I was quite conservative.
14:23I didn't go for the expensive options.
14:25I went for the practical options and things that I actually would use.
14:30And I hope you've enjoyed watching me spend my money.
14:35Imaginary money.
