The James Bond franchise has found its producers in Amy Pascal and David Heyman. Pascal and Heyman have been tapped by Amazon MGM to steer the new 'Bond' film, the first to be produced by someone outside the Broccoli family.

00:14Pascal will produce the film via Pascal Pictures, with Heyman producing via Hay Day films.
00:19Pascal is the producer behind the Spider-Man franchise,
00:22with the Tom Holland-fronted films grossing over $3 billion at the global box office.
00:26While Heyman shepherded the Harry Potter franchise, including the spinoff series Fantastic Beasts, to commercial highs.
00:33It wasn't made immediately clear if they would be producing Bond titles beyond the immediate next film.
00:38The selection comes after Amazon MGM closed a deal with Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson,
00:43the producers whose family has been producing 007 movies since the 1960s,
00:48to take over creative control of the Bond franchise.
00:51Pascal and Heyman said in a joint statement,
00:53James Bond is one of the most iconic characters in the history of cinema.
00:57We are humbled to follow in the footsteps of Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson,

01:03and honored and excited to keep the spirit of Bond very much alive as he embarks on his next adventure.
