00:05I'm fine with the move.

00:08I mean, this idea that he is a No. 2 starter is wrong.

00:12Do you think that that's all they're going to do there?

00:16I mean, I have serious fear about that.

00:18If they add a guy in front of Sonny Gray, it'll be better.

00:23But I would tell you, I have a lot of concerns about Gray.

00:26And if you want to stick him in the middle of your rotation,

00:28and you get two or three other guys, fine, no problem.

00:31But I don't know if he's the kind of guy you want to rely on in a big game either.

00:34He's not a No. 2, and it's all they're doing.

00:36Right, and even if he is a No. 2, he's not a big game No. 2.

00:40So, like, you know, he's got a history.

00:43When he was at the Yankees, he kind of turtled.

00:45He was kind of sackless.

00:47So I'm okay with the pitcher.

00:52I hate the nature of the deal.

00:54Well, and even more so, Maz, is just the bullcrap that I just have to sift through

00:59that, to me, now becomes a story.

01:04And you remember, I read this line from Alex Spear and sort of laughed at it.

01:08When Alex Spear wrote two weeks ago that at the GM meetings,

01:13Chief Baseball Officer Craig Breslow said the Sox want to add a middle-of-the-order

01:16power hitter and a No. 2 starter.

01:18Those are big-ticket items, writes Spear, but the Red Sox wouldn't declare those

01:24areas as priorities if they didn't think they could afford the spending or trade

01:27commitments needed to acquire them.

01:30And I laughed at that line when it was written.

01:32I said, well, you just started covering the team.

01:34You've never heard the Red Sox pump up a bunch of bullcrap and blow a bunch of

01:38sunshine up your ass just to turn around and do nothing?

01:42That's all they've done for five years.

01:44So how could you say that, Alex?

01:47And, well, here we go.

01:49Because when he says that Breslow indicated they're going to add a middle-of-the-order

01:56power hitter and a No. 2 starter, did anyone have Sonny Gray?

02:03But this is what they're doing, and they took money in return, Maz.
