00:00If you've been around long enough to remember the PS1 and N64 game LEGO Racers and its sequels,
00:07there was probably a tingle in your heart when LEGO 2K Drive was announced.
00:11Now that the reviews are out and the dust has settled, let's take a closer look at the anticipated next step of LEGO racing.
00:18Much like the Forza Horizon series, LEGO 2K Drive offers open-world exploration
00:23and an accompanying narrative that serves as a fun sandbox of exploration and driving mechanics
00:29along with competitive gameplay that will have you grinding for hours.
00:33According to Video Games Chronicle, the game has players driving around the various areas of Bricklandia,
00:39a LEGO-themed world in which numerous racers are trying to win the coveted Sky Cup,
00:45explore different areas, take on challenges and side quests, and level up to compete in races that advance the story.
00:52But let's face it, the best part of the game is the building of your car using LEGO.
00:57If you can build it in real life, you can build it in the game.
01:00And while you can unlock pre-built vehicles, the building mode is immersive, surprisingly detailed and very creative.
01:07The downside in-game currency and microtransactions, but what can we say about this that hasn't already been said?
01:14LEGO 2K Drive is out now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5 and Xbox.
01:21I will survive within the video, and share my video with you with this video.
