00:00If you played Cyberpunk 2077, you know how incredible it was. Yes, the initial release of Cyberpunk was a nightmare
00:07for both players and developer CD Projekt Red, but with the Phantom Liberty DLC, the game has not only received
00:14an overhaul that makes it better, but builds upon its greatest strengths.
00:19Story-wise, DualShockers reports that following the incident involving the Arasaka's relic biochip, which implanted Johnny Silverhand's construct into their
00:29head, V, that's you, receives a call from enigmatic netrunner Song So Me.
00:34She offers a potential cure for your unique condition, but there's a catch. You must undertake a dangerous mission that
00:41takes V straight into Dogtown, a new district within Night City, controlled by a military organization.
00:47According to IGN, while Phantom Liberty isn't required to install the 2.0 update for the game, the newly reworked
00:55skill tree makes it easier to build your character towards specific playstyles.
01:00Whether you're pursuing a hacker build, augment build, or something else, 2023's Cyberpunk 2077 is a much better experience than
01:08it was in 2020.
01:10And this is the only DLC that Cyberpunk is going to get. According to Video Games Chronicle, there's an element
01:16of sadness to it, thinking about what could have been if the launch game was up to the standard Phantom
01:23Liberty is today.
01:24But at the very least, it means that CD Projekt can move on to its next project, safe in the
01:31knowledge that Cyberpunk 2077 was left in an excellent state.
