00:05and to donate to the victims and firefighters of the L.A. wildfires instead.
00:09Smart shared this post on Instagram that reads,
00:12Attention, with all due respect, during Hollywood's season of celebration,
00:17I hope any of the networks televising the upcoming awards will seriously consider not televising them
00:22and donating the revenue they would have garnered to victims of the fires and the firefighters.
00:27She didn't name specific award shows or dollar amounts.
00:31Among the big upcoming award shows, though, are the Screen Actors Guild Awards,
00:34which are set to stream on Netflix on Sunday, February 23rd,
00:38from the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, and the Academy Awards,
00:41set to air on ABC from the Dolby Theater on Sunday, March 2nd.
00:45Due to the fires, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has decided to extend the Oscar nomination voting window,
00:51which began at 9 a.m. Pacific on Wednesday morning and was to have ended at 5 p.m. Pacific on Sunday evening.
00:57Now it will run until 5 p.m. Pacific on Tuesday, January 14th.
01:01The Oscar nomination's unveiling has also been pushed back from Friday, January 17th to Sunday, January 19th.

01:16The hit series is among those whose production has been paused due to the blazes in different parts of L.A.
