00:00It looks like Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost really went the unconventional route for their wedding.
00:05Details emerged from the couple's October 29th nuptials, proving it to be a unique affair.
00:10The Hollywood Reporter learned that in lieu of a minister, Johansson and Jost kept their nuptials in the SNL family
00:16by having one of the show's veteran writer-producers, Steve Higgins, serve as the officiant.
00:21In addition, the couple who met on the set of Saturday Night Live when Johansson served as a host
00:25and he, as a writer and Weekend Update co-anchor, chose rather unique save-the-date cards.
00:30The mailers were handwritten on grade-school-esque index cards with the explanation,
00:35we're trying to save money for the wedding.
00:37The couple also chose to generate money for the non-profit Meals on Wheels,
00:40with whom the two partnered in making their October 29th Jost married Staten Island ferry featuring announcement on Instagram.

00:48Their wedding wish is to help make a difference for vulnerable older adults.
00:51The organization, which delivers meals to needy elderly, helped generate $10,000 in the couple's honor.
