00:08Markle recounted the intimate experience of miscarrying her second child in an opinion piece for the Times on Wednesday, writing,
00:16I knew as I clutched my firstborn child that I was losing my second.
00:20In an extremely intimate account of how she suffered the loss, Markle revealed the morning started like any other.
00:26Make breakfast, feed the dogs, take vitamins, find that missing sock, pick up the rogue crayon that rolled under the table,
00:33throw my hair in a ponytail before getting my son from his crib.
00:37After changing his diaper, I felt a sharp cramp.
00:40I dropped to the floor with him in my arms, humming a lullaby to keep us both calm.
00:44The cheerful tune, a stark contrast to my sense that something was not right.
00:49Later, she said she lay in a hospital bed holding my husband's hand.
00:53I felt the clamminess of his palm and kissed his knuckles, wet from both our tears.
