00:08The actor's family shared a statement on social media Wednesday that read,
00:12To Bruce's amazing supporters,
00:14As a family, we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues
00:18and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities.
00:23As a result of this, and with much consideration,
00:26Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him.
00:29The statement continued,
00:30This is a really challenging time for our family,
00:32and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion, and support.
00:36We are moving through this as a strong family unit,
00:38and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.
00:43As Bruce always says, live it up, and together we plan to do just that.

00:51The 67-year-old film star is best known for his role in the iconic Die Hard franchise.
