Vancouver PD said a female died while performing a motorcycle stunt.

00:00A stunt person was killed on the set of Deadpool 2 on Monday. The Vancouver Police Department
00:05said in a statement,
00:06The Vancouver Police Department's Twitter account noted,
00:20VPD and WorkSafeBC investigators are at the scene. WorkSafeBC also released a statement saying,
00:26WorkSafeBC was contacted by the Vancouver Police Department this morning at 8.31 a.m.
00:31regarding a serious incident in the 1,000 block of West Waterfront Road, Vancouver, British Columbia.
00:37WorkSafeBC has five officers at the incident site. Two officers are inspecting the site for immediate
00:43occupational health and safety issues. Three officers are investigating the incident for cause
00:48and prevention under the Workers' Compensation Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation.
00:53The British Columbia coroner's office is also investigating. A spokesperson for Fox said,
00:58We are deeply saddened by the accident that occurred on the set of Deadpool 2 this morning.
01:03Our hearts and prayers are with the family, friends and colleagues of our crew member during this difficult time.
01:08Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds posted a statement on Twitter that read,
01:12Reporters on the scene shared photos via social media of the area closed down by authorities.
01:30Eyewitnesses told local news the stunt person did the scene four times perfect, but on the fifth take,
01:36the unidentified woman appeared to lose control of the bike and ran into a nearby building through glass.
01:41Production of Deadpool 2 began in late June. The film, starring Ryan Reynolds, is the highly anticipated sequel
01:47to the 2016 Marvel film. Deadpool 2 is set to be released on June 1, 2018.
