00:00What's the best advice you've received about acting?
00:03Oh my gosh.
00:05Fail.
00:06From Patty.
00:08Patricia Clarkson.
00:09Good, that's good.
00:11Have you, I mean, have you, how have you put that into practice?
00:13It's a hard thing to sort of wrap your head around.
00:15Yeah, it's a big concept and I think at the root of failing, I guess,
00:19means to just throw yourself into the scene or whatever it is that you're doing
00:23and the aim is to not preempt the results,
00:28just to see where it kind of lands and that's what's exciting about being an actor.
00:33That's good.
00:33And whose performance stood out to you this year?
00:36Oh gosh.
