00:15On Tuesday, late night hosts also pondered this question, and their conclusion? Not so much.

00:20On NBC's late night, host Seth Meyers quipped,

00:23you would think that a man who ran on a platform of pure patriotism...

00:26...and who spent months lecturing athletes about respecting the national anthem

00:30would at the very least know the words to the anthem.

00:34After playing the clip, which shows the president pausing in parts

00:36and singing out of time in others, the host made this comparison.

00:40Oh my God, Trump sings the national anthem the way the rest of us sing Despacito.

00:46He added, seriously, how can you be the president and not know the words to the national anthem?

00:51That's like Peyton Manning not knowing the words to the nationwide jingle.

00:55Meanwhile, on CBS's The Late Late Show, host James Corden also had Despacito on his mind,

00:59taking jabs at the president's apparent lack of lyric knowledge.

01:03He looks like a guy who jumped on stage at a karaoke bar to sing Despacito.

01:08Suddenly remembered he can't speak Spanish.

01:10Continuing, Corden joked that Trump may have been too focused on something that he finds much more important.

01:15In Trump's defense, it's hard to sing a song while you're also trying to compose tweets in your head.

01:21On CBS's The Late Show, host Stephen Colbert jokingly claimed he had exclusive footage of

01:25President Trump's isolated vocals and what he unearthed may surprise you. Or not.

01:38The exclusive footage also featured Trump belting out this reminder.

01:52And on Comedy Central's The Daily Show, host Trevor Noah noticed that Trump only joined in
