Marvel movie 'Black Panther,' which boasts a stellar 98 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, begins rolling out in North American theaters Thursday night.

00:08President's Day box office. The critically acclaimed superhero film begins rolling
00:12out Thursday night in North America on the eve of President's Day weekend.
00:16If tracking is correct, the film will take in $165 million plus over the long
00:22weekend in North America, making it the top showing ever for both the holiday
00:26and the month of February. Deadpool currently holds the record, bringing in
00:30$152.2 million over President's Day weekend in 2016. Black Panther could also land
00:37one of the top five or six domestic openings ever for a superhero film, not
00:42accounting for inflation. The movie, directed by Ryan Coogler, is unprecedented
00:46in being a big-budget studio tentpole featuring a virtually all-black cast. It
00:52stars Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa slash Black Panther alongside Lupita Nyong'o,
00:57Michael B. Jordan, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett,
01:03Forrest Whitaker and Andy Serkis. When Black Panther first came on tracking two
01:08weeks ago, market leader NRG predicted a domestic opening of $125 million. By
01:14last week, that number shot up to $150 million plus. And on Tuesday, it was
01:20revised upwards to $165 million plus. Meanwhile, the film has already taken off
01:25overseas with the promising $23.2 million from its first foreign markets. It opened
01:31in the U.K., Taiwan and Hong Kong on Tuesday, followed by 14 additional markets on
01:37Wednesday. So far, it's pacing ahead of fellow Marvel movies Doctor Strange, Ant-Man
01:42and Guardians of the Galaxy in most markets. The critically acclaimed movie currently
01:47boasts a stellar 97 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, the best of any title in the
01:52Marvel Cinematic Universe or the rival DC Extended Universe. All right, but right now,
