00:30Welcome to I'm a Celebrity Unpacked,
00:35coming to you live from the Australian jungle.
00:38It's been an eventful day in the camp and we are here to dig through it all.
00:41Yes, we are. Today we saw Lisa mining for diamonds in the rough.
00:45We saw emotional letters from home and Shona stepped down
00:48after less time in office than Liz Truss.
00:51Did I just do a politics? Yeah, you did it really well.
00:53Thank you so much, Katie. Well done, Joe.
00:55Here's what's coming up on today's show.
00:57I'll be chatting with Eddie, who has literally just crossed that bridge.
01:00Joining us in the UK is last year's campmate, Dean McCulloch.
01:04We'll be asking your questions to Tom live in the Bush Telegraph.
01:07And we'll be exclusively revealing which campmate has been chosen
01:10for the next Bush Tucker trial.
01:12But first, time to welcome our first special guest is the human Labrador.
01:16Ladies and gentlemen, it's Sam Thompson.
01:21There he is. Come on in, Sam.
01:25Oh, hello.
01:25Sit down, sit down.
01:27Tom, you're too far away.
01:28Yeah, I know.
01:29Can you stand up before I can even get there?
01:30We just hugged each other before the show.
01:33How are you today, Sam? You all right?
01:34Oh, so good, man. So good.
01:36It's been so nice being out here.
01:37An incredible show, that was.
01:39Oh, mate. Dude, I cried.
01:41I cried.
01:42Yes.
01:42At the letters from home.
01:43Oh, that was emotional.
01:44That's wild.
01:44It was such a mad episode.
01:46We had contraband.
01:47We had crying.
01:48We had the letters from home.
01:50We had, like, an amazing person leaving, which is mad.
01:54Dude, do you know what's crazy as well?
01:55I didn't see that coming at all.
01:56Yes.
01:57Eddie's so great, man.
01:59We're going to get stuck into it.
02:00We'll be discussing all of the camp mutiny later on,
02:02but we've just seen Eddie be the second campmate
02:04to walk across the bridge.
02:06Let's have a quick reminder of the moment that they found out.
02:08It's between Eddie and Vogue.
02:11The next person to leave I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here 2025 is...
02:15Eddie.
02:19Lucky him.
02:20Were you surprised to see him go out?
02:21I really was.
02:22Yeah, I really, really was.
02:24He's been such a ray of sunshine in that camp.
02:27And, you know, you've got H and you've got Ginge
02:30and they're doing so much amazing stuff.
02:32And I feel like he managed to keep pace with them.
02:35Or, like, an energy level.
02:36And then it was really nice to hear his story.
02:38Like, you know, he was talking about his dad.
02:40Yeah.
02:40And then when he got his letter from home, it was just so beautiful.
02:42I think you're so right when you spoke to Alex yesterday
02:45and you went, you know what, you're the first person to come out first
02:48and for there to be, like, no issues whatsoever.
02:50Everyone loved you.
02:51And the same thing with Eddie.
02:52I think he's done so well.
02:54Yeah.
02:55He'd be really proud of himself.
02:55It's a really tough year to call.
02:57I think it really is.
02:58Do you think it was the right decision?
02:59I'm going to say yes.
03:00Only because I wouldn't know who else to put in there.
03:03So true.
03:03It's really hard.
03:04No one's coming out because it's like,
03:05oh, they're a little bit controversial or the public didn't like them.
03:08Everyone is so loved in this camp.
03:10So someone is going to have to go every night
03:11and it's really tough to tell the order.
03:13Do you think it's the right decision, Sam?
03:15To be honest with you, I actually kind of agree with Kemi.
03:17I just, I think they could all go.
03:19Like, I don't know.
03:20Imagine all of them together.
03:22All of them two.
03:23But I just wouldn't, I wouldn't know.
03:24If I was sat around that campfire and they were like,
03:26it might, I'd be like, it's probably me.
03:28I think they probably all think it's them.
03:29Yeah.
03:30Which they all get along so well as well.
03:32There's been no sort of like bust ups or anything like that.
03:35Yeah.
03:35It's a joyous camp.
03:36I actually really liked, this is weird,
03:38we might even talk about it,
03:39but I really liked the Vogue H chat about the cleaning up and stuff
03:44because that was legit.
03:45Oh, we will have to talk about that.
03:47Well, we'll talk about that later on,
03:48but why do you think,
03:50why do you think the public didn't vote for Eddie?
03:52Why do you think it was him tonight?
03:54Well, first of all, it's also vote to save, isn't it?
03:57Which, you know, a lot of the time,
03:59people go, well, he's going to be fine,
04:00so we will vote to save someone that might actually be at risk.
04:04So that might be the reason.
04:06Also, I don't know,
04:08there's other people in there
04:09who just have massive personalities as well, you know?
04:11I mean, look, H and Ginge, we already know,
04:14they're absolutely amazing, top of their game,
04:16they're doing so, so well.
04:17Tom Rie Wilson is one of the loveliest guys.
04:18Jack has told us so much about his family,
04:21he's mucked in, he's always there with her cooking.
04:23Yeah.
04:23Vogue's so interesting, she's really funny,
04:27she's Irish.
04:28Yeah, yeah.
04:29If that means something, she's, you know, she's amazing.
04:32Like, she just did the trial,
04:33so I feel like, yeah, it's anyone's game.
04:36It really is, but the thing is, with Eddie leaving now,
04:39how do you guys think it's going to actually affect camp?
04:41Because every single person that's come on here
04:43on the Bush Telegraph has said,
04:45Eddie is the one that lifts the mood, lifts the spirit,
04:48is the, like, vibe provider of the camp.
04:50How are they going to find it now?
04:51I think it's going to be, I think it's going to be,
04:53he's like the equivalent of, like,
04:55three campmates leaving at once.
04:56Do you know what I mean?
04:57The amount of energy that he gives to that group,
04:59like you said, every single person
05:01that comes to the Bush Telegraph says,
05:02oh, Eddie is my man, Eddie is my man.
05:04And I don't think we've necessarily seen that on screen,
05:07but clearly, in camp, he's giving so much.
05:11Do you know what's really, I think that when people,
05:13you'll know this, John, when people leave,
05:15the hole that they leave as well,
05:17when they're as energetic as Eddie, is massive.
05:19Yeah.
05:20You're like, it really feels like a sibling's gone.
05:22And so you can see everyone in camp now
05:24just probably talking about it,
05:25and, like, actually, you can immediately feel it.
05:28The entire shift happens so quickly,
05:30and then someone's got to fill that gap.
05:32Yeah.
05:32We wonder who it is,
05:33but do you think Eddie was actually expecting to go?
05:37Oh!
05:37Interesting, isn't it?
05:38Because that's a real tough one to call.
05:40I don't think he was expecting it,
05:42but he said when he said someone's got to go, you know?
05:44And I think it was, with his letters from home tonight,
05:47it was, I feel like I got to see a side of him
05:50that I hadn't seen the entire time he's been in there,
05:52you know?
05:52He was talking about his family,
05:53and just seeing him emote like that was really, like,
05:56it was really different for him.
05:57Yeah, I agree with that, Joel.
05:58I think him, at the start, to him now,
06:02is, I think, a real...
06:03Oh, God, I'm going to use the word journey.
06:04But I do, I think it's a proper journey,
06:06and I think when he comes in,
06:08and everyone's like this,
06:09when you're super energetic,
06:10and you're like, oh, my God!
06:11And then it slows down.
06:13Everything slows down.
06:15And that was, like, the most pure form, I think,
06:18of Eddie that we've seen over the past few days,
06:21and he's just clearly such a lovely, lovely guy.
06:24Yeah.
06:24And it's a bit of a shame, I think,
06:27because I think he was really coming into his own.
06:29We've literally just seen it, like, now.
06:30Yeah, we've just seen it.
06:32I would have liked to see a couple more.
06:33A little bit more.
06:34A little bit more.
06:35Yeah, absolutely.
06:35Fingers crossed.
06:36Now, as always, we want to hear from you lots
06:38to get in touch on socials
06:39or message us on WhatsApp,
06:40and we do really love your voice notes,
06:42so please keep them coming as well.
06:44Just go to the app, hit the Explore button,
06:46and give us those hottest takes.
06:48Yes, please.
06:49Time for a break now,
06:49but when we return, we've got Tom Light
06:51in the Bush photograph answering your questions.
06:54We'll see you in a minute.
06:55There he is.
06:57Welcome back to On The Celepity Unpacked.
07:07Time now for an unseen clip,
07:08and here's Kelly having a Mona about Shona.
07:12She had the power, she had the outfit,
07:14she had all of us in the palm of her hand,
07:17and she's just thrown it all away
07:19for one spoon of butter.
07:22Do you know what I've realised?
07:22I don't even know who Shona is.
07:24Never met her.
07:26I don't even know who she is.
07:27Never met her.
07:28Playing this shy card, it's all a big act.
07:31But it's, you know...
07:32See how she reveled in it?
07:33She had the crown,
07:34then it evolved into the toga,
07:35then she's eaten better than us.
07:38It's like Marie Antoinette, number two.
07:40The minute she put the crown on,
07:41it all went wonky.
07:42It all went wonky.
07:43Yeah, she still slipped like that.
07:44She went power mad, it went to her head.
07:46But Marie Antoinette's a case in point,
07:47you know, I can't think of a queen
07:49that would deny themselves a bit of butter.
07:52A bit of butter for the royal slice of bread.
07:54But I think the queen would have shared it.
07:57Ha-ha-ha-ha!
07:59Controversial!
08:00I love that.
08:01We'll be discussing Shona's fall from grace
08:03later on in the show,
08:04but tonight we saw something
08:05that always brings a tear to the eye.
08:08It's letters from home, guys.
08:10Oh, my goodness.
08:10How incredible was letters from home?
08:12Have you recovered yet?
08:12It was funny,
08:13when I watched it,
08:14I was actually in the make-up chair.
08:16And me and Amanda were like,
08:17I had to literally go like,
08:17ha-ha-ha,
08:18trying not to cry all my make-up off.
08:20As she's putting mascara on,
08:21it's just like coming back off again.
08:22Yeah, I had exactly the same thing
08:24when they were trying to put mascara on me.
08:25It just comes straight off, Joel, doesn't it?
08:28Oh, the worst.
08:28Yeah, see, I don't have a trailer,
08:29so I was standing outside yours,
08:31just knocking on the door,
08:33being like,
08:33Joel, can I use your lube?
08:36It was so emotional, wasn't it?
08:38Mate, it always is.
08:40And do you know,
08:41when they...
08:41Jack,
08:42Jack, as well,
08:43because it was interesting
08:44when, I can't remember who said it,
08:45they were like,
08:46he needs it the most.
08:47And you could see,
08:48he was really good about it,
08:49but you could see that really,
08:50really hurt him.
08:50How do you think he handled it, though?
08:52Because I think he handled it brilliantly.
08:53Yeah, same.
08:54He said he was like,
08:56just no emotions around it,
08:57he's got to deal with it.
08:58But when they were reading,
08:58I love it when they get
09:00your best friend in there
09:01to read out the letter for you,
09:03because it hits that little bit harder.
09:04And when H had to hand the letter over,
09:07because he was getting to him,
09:09and then he handed it to Tom,
09:10who's so eloquent as well,
09:12that whole sort of, like, segment,
09:14I was like,
09:15this is just cinema.
09:16Yeah.
09:16It was amazing.
09:17It's such a brilliant part,
09:19where you just really get to see how,
09:21like,
09:21they've been such a bonded bunch anyway,
09:23but then that moment,
09:24it's like,
09:25solidifies how bonded they have become
09:27in that camp.
09:28It's crazy.
09:29Who do you think
09:30sort of got the most emotional
09:31out of that bunch?
09:31Well, maybe for that reason,
09:33I might say H,
09:33because he also got emotional,
09:35not at his own letter.
09:36Yeah.
09:36I think there was a moment
09:37where someone else's letter's
09:38been reading out,
09:38and Jinj just went like that.
09:40Like,
09:40it was actually so beautiful
09:41to see those two young guys
09:43probably showing the most emotion,
09:45not just at their own letters,
09:46which, of course,
09:47everyone's going to cry at your own.
09:48Yeah.
09:48But other people's as well,
09:49like,
09:49you can tell they're real,
09:50like, empaths.
09:51Yeah.
09:51You know what,
09:51I'm so interested by when they come out,
09:55because this show is,
09:57just unlike any other show,
09:59like,
09:59you learn so much about yourself
10:01in there,
10:02and you form relationships,
10:04and it's so true.
10:05Like,
10:05the entire thing is so true.
10:07And,
10:08like,
10:08I think when you come out,
10:09especially H and Jinj,
10:10I think they're going to come out
10:11and be like,
10:11I don't know what just happened,
10:13but it's like therapy in there.
10:15Well,
10:15Eddie said that,
10:15didn't he?
10:16He said he feels like
10:16a changed guy.
10:17I mean,
10:18the letters you guys have been in,
10:19did anyone not get a letter
10:20in your year,
10:21and how did that go down?
10:23I did.
10:23Well,
10:23I didn't get my letter
10:24to start off with,
10:25because I sort of sacrificed
10:26and gave it to other people.
10:27No,
10:27you're such a good guy.
10:29Yes,
10:30slide that one in.
10:31Really paid off
10:31coming second,
10:32though.
10:33Really paid off.
10:35Yeah,
10:35so I didn't get my letter
10:36immediately.
10:37What was so brutal
10:38about this one
10:39was that I didn't get mine
10:40immediately,
10:40but then I did get it later on,
10:42even though they didn't get it
10:43in the challenge.
10:44Whereas this challenge
10:45was so brutal,
10:45because they literally
10:46saw it being blended
10:47in front of them.
10:49No,
10:49you're not going to get it back.
10:51It's,
10:51it's,
10:52yeah,
10:52also,
10:53I mean,
10:53I actually got my letter
10:54as well,
10:54to be fair,
10:55and I cried as well.
10:56Like,
10:56everyone,
10:57everyone cries.
10:58It was so beautiful
10:59to see sort of ginger
11:00with his head,
11:00weirdly,
11:01it was beautiful
11:01to see ginger
11:01with his head
11:02in his hands
11:02and like,
11:03yeah,
11:03it's just,
11:04it's a moment,
11:05I think,
11:06that also you realise
11:06how far you've come.
11:07Oh.
11:08And you're sat there
11:09and like,
11:09people,
11:10your friends and loved ones
11:11telling you how proud
11:11they are of you.
11:12Do you know what?
11:12We never really say
11:14how proud we are
11:15of our mates
11:16or our family enough.
11:17That's true.
11:17Until there's like a big reason.
11:18And now,
11:19look,
11:19God,
11:19they're on one of the biggest
11:20shows on TV
11:21and suddenly,
11:22obviously,
11:22it's happening.
11:23But like,
11:23you can see how much
11:24it means to people.
11:25When someone sits there
11:26and just goes,
11:26I'm so goddamn proud of you,
11:27man.
11:28Yeah.
11:28It gets me every time.
11:29My sister ever says
11:30she's proud of me
11:30just when I'm around
11:31her is annoying her.
11:32Like,
11:33it really means
11:33so beautiful to see,
11:35isn't it?
11:35I'm proud of you.
11:35I'm just really proud of you.
11:37I'm proud of you.
11:37Really proud of you.
11:38Well done, mate.
11:39I've got space
11:40on this sofa as well.
11:41I just feel like
11:41I've got to do it myself.
11:42Stretch out, mate.
11:42Stretch out.
11:43You've been sending in
11:44your questions for Tom
11:45and we've got him
11:46in the Bush Telegraph
11:47right now.
11:48Tom,
11:48can you hear me,
11:49my friend?
11:50Yes,
11:51my darling Joe.
11:53Tom.
11:53My Tom.
11:54So good to speak to you.
11:56It really,
11:56it really is.
11:57We've been given
11:57very special permission
11:58to put some viewer
11:59questions to you.
12:00So without further ado,
12:01we'll crack straight on.
12:02This is a first question
12:04from Finn.
12:05It says,
12:06what is your word
12:07of the day, Tom?
12:08Oh,
12:08that's very good.
12:10Oh,
12:10I know what it should be
12:12because we're flanked
12:13by them everywhere we go.
12:16Bangalow,
12:17because we have
12:17these bangalow palms
12:19with these beautiful
12:20silver rings around them
12:22all the way up
12:23to the canopy.
12:24And they're so attractive
12:26and I think
12:27the banga part
12:29means water
12:30because they used
12:31to carry
12:31in banga baskets,
12:34the water
12:34because it doesn't
12:35permeate through it.
12:36It's wonderful.
12:37Oh my goodness,
12:38that was so beautiful.
12:39You're unbelievable.
12:40Hi Tom,
12:41it's Kemi here.
12:41Hello Kemi.
12:42I've got a question
12:43from George.
12:45What's the best word
12:45a campmate has taught you?
12:47Oh,
12:48am I allowed to?
12:50Yes.
12:51Probably is.
12:51Well,
12:52Vogue taught me
12:54the Irish yoke
12:56and the Irish yoke
12:58is just things
12:59so you can have
13:00a yoke here,
13:01a yoke here,
13:01there,
13:02a yoke here on
13:02is wonderful.
13:04It's very,
13:04very versatile.
13:06And H taught me
13:08his meaning
13:09of messing
13:10which is sort of
13:11a contraction
13:11of messing about.
13:12It's sort of like,
13:13you know,
13:14don't fiddle about,
13:16just get to it,
13:17be very direct.
13:19No messing.
13:20And could you say
13:21in H's voice?
13:23No messing.
13:26Perfect.
13:27Ralph wants to know
13:27which campmate,
13:28other than Ruby,
13:29would you like to
13:30take down to the pond?
13:31Oh,
13:32oh,
13:33I think
13:34for artistic inspiration
13:36I'd have to take H
13:37because he,
13:38one of his songs
13:40is called Rain
13:41and I think he likes
13:42a watery theme,
13:44you know,
13:44so I think
13:45he might get
13:46oodles of inspiration
13:47from having a plunge
13:48with me.
13:49I love that.
13:50Jill has asked,
13:51what is one thing
13:52that would surprise
13:53me about you?
13:54Ah.
13:55Oh,
13:56you don't know this,
13:57Joel,
13:58I don't think.
13:59My dad
14:00was nominated
14:01for Sports Personality
14:02of the Year
14:03in 1979.
14:04What?
14:06That's a great fact.
14:07I love that.
14:08That's really good.
14:08We're all googling it
14:09right now.
14:11Hannah says,
14:11what is a camp rule
14:13that you would love
14:14to enforce?
14:15Oh,
14:15well,
14:16you know,
14:17well,
14:17Joel knows this,
14:18well,
14:18the bullfrogs
14:20start to sing,
14:21actually,
14:22I don't know
14:22if they're bullfrogs,
14:23but the frogs
14:23start to sing
14:24at about 7 o'clock
14:25and I think then
14:27I'd love them
14:28to be the undergirding
14:30for a mandatory
14:32campfire sing-song
14:33because we'd have
14:34this sort of,
14:35we'd have this
14:36great percussion section.
14:39That's amazing,
14:39isn't it?
14:40It really is.
14:40This is a question
14:41from Sorica.
14:42It says,
14:43if you had
14:43to sacrifice
14:44one campmate
14:44for chocolate,
14:45who would it be,
14:46Tom?
14:47Oh,
14:47God,
14:47that's so difficult.
14:49Who,
14:49if they metamorphosed
14:50into a chocolate bar,
14:51would taste delicious?
14:53LAUGHTER
14:53I think Shona
14:56would be so toothsome.
14:59You know,
14:59she's naturally sweet.
15:01I think she'd be,
15:02I think every cube
15:03would be a delight.
15:06That's a compliment.
15:07I love that.
15:08But just this one quickly,
15:09this is from Sophie.
15:11How is the morale in camp
15:13and how do you boost it?
15:14Just quickly,
15:14Tom.
15:15Oh,
15:16we play games.
15:18We play oodles
15:19upon oodles of games.
15:21Oh,
15:22amazing, Tom.
15:23You've been absolutely amazing.
15:24What a joy to watch.
15:25Give it up to Tom,
15:26everybody,
15:26in the Bush House class.
15:28Keep your questions
15:29coming in
15:30for all of
15:31the remaining campmates.
15:32Time for a quick break now,
15:33but don't go anywhere
15:34because we've got
15:35Dee McCulloch waiting
15:36on the line
15:36to speak to us
15:37live from the UK.
15:38Unless he decides
15:39not to go through with it.
15:40See you in a bit.
15:50Welcome back
15:51to I'm a Celebrity Unpacked.
15:52We saw everything
15:54in camp today.
15:55We saw Shona
15:55banished to a phone booth
15:57and disrespecting Queen Ruby.
15:59I guess she was
16:00done with buttering things up.
16:02Am I right?
16:03I think we need
16:03a little bit of a reminder
16:04of all of that chaos.
16:07Shona,
16:08there is contraband in camp.
16:10You either step down
16:11as leader.
16:12What is you?
16:13Or you lose
16:14two of the stars
16:15won in today's trial.
16:16Oh, no.
16:16Oh, no.
16:16Oh.
16:17De-throw!
16:18De-throw!
16:19De-throw!
16:20De-throw!
16:21Roommate!
16:22Roommate!
16:22Roommate!
16:23Roommate!
16:24Yeah!
16:24Capmates,
16:25things are about to change.
16:28Power!
16:29Hey!
16:30Get me a pillow!
16:33It's so good.
16:34It makes me laugh
16:35every time I see it.
16:35It's the most iconic.
16:36It's like a sort of
16:36GCSE version
16:38of Game of Thrones.
16:38It's just all kicking off.
16:40I loved it.
16:40At the same time.
16:41I feel like they've all
16:42gone absolutely mad today.
16:44Yeah.
16:44It was just crazy.
16:45Help me out.
16:46Where do we start
16:47with all of this?
16:47I don't even know.
16:48Can we talk about
16:49Shona looking like
16:49Dobby the house elf
16:50from Harry Potter?
16:51Oh, my God.
16:51That's something.
16:53Oh, my God.
16:53Give her a sock.
16:53Wow, I don't even know
16:54how she made that.
16:55I don't even know
16:56what that's made out of.
16:57Is that sheets from the bed?
16:58I don't even know.
16:59And she made it herself.
17:00She was like,
17:00I've done it.
17:01My favourite thing
17:02was the fact that
17:02she obviously took time.
17:04Things take time down there.
17:05She must have taken hours
17:06to make that costume.
17:07Straight off.
17:08And it basically
17:08immediately gets taken off her.
17:10It was...
17:11They made a whole thing
17:12so much funnier.
17:12I'll tell you what as well.
17:14Having that megaphone,
17:15I don't know why
17:16they're not using it more.
17:17Mate, you know
17:18when they have
17:18the treehouse megaphone?
17:20Every single five seconds
17:21that is getting picked up
17:22and I'm just talking
17:23to the rest of the camp.
17:24I can't believe
17:25they're not using it more.
17:26It looks so good.
17:27It's been fun.
17:27Yeah, yeah, that's true.
17:28It just was like...
17:29Sorry.
17:30Have you got it?
17:31I got it.
17:31There was just...
17:32There was so much going on.
17:33Then obviously
17:34there was the second
17:35contraband offence
17:36which is why
17:37Shona got her
17:38sort of leadership
17:39taken away from her.
17:40I don't think anyone's
17:41ever been caught
17:41for two months.
17:42It wasn't hers though,
17:43was it?
17:44But she used it.
17:45Alex just leaving
17:46Dubai,
17:47throwing her under the bus.
17:48I mean, it must have been Alex, right?
17:49It must have been Alex.
17:50Yeah, because no one else
17:51came forward.
17:51Yeah, but then we don't know.
17:53Although would I come forward?
17:54Probably not.
17:55Did you ever sneak
17:55contraband over?
17:56No, I was too scared.
17:57Yeah.
17:57I didn't even know you could.
17:59Really?
17:59Yeah, I just felt the same.
18:01I'm such a...
18:02I'm not a rule breaker.
18:03You're such a goody-toos.
18:03I'm such a goody-toos.
18:05Also, that sort of
18:06weird hotel...
18:07hotel butter
18:08that no one really likes
18:09is the one thing she left.
18:12Laura.
18:12I like the idea
18:12that there's more
18:13hotel breakfast stuff in there,
18:15like sort of
18:15that conveyor belt
18:16that this host comes out on.
18:18Tiny little jams.
18:18Tiny little jams.
18:20Do you think there was a part
18:21of Shona that maybe thought
18:22I'll sacrifice the stars?
18:24Like, if there was a full house of stars,
18:27do you think that...
18:27No, not a chance.
18:28Not a chance.
18:29Because everyone wants to be like,
18:30you don't want to be that person, right?
18:31True.
18:32Well, it was also because
18:32there were slightly less stars.
18:34Yeah.
18:34But last time when
18:35the person got caught for contraband,
18:38it was a full house.
18:38And one star
18:39didn't really make any difference.
18:41But now,
18:418 to 6.
18:428 to 6.
18:43That's a huge difference.
18:44Can we also talk about Ruby
18:45and I'll come to it again.
18:47The journey that she's been on
18:48has been phenomenal.
18:50This is like peak Ruby.
18:51Like, I've wanted to see Ruby
18:53in this role.
18:54I think it's the Ruby Wax
18:55we all wanted to see.
18:57And like,
18:57she's just having so much fun with it.
18:59And it's been like
18:59the most perfect...
19:00Do you know what?
19:01I think coming in, right,
19:03she mis-showed it.
19:05Yeah.
19:05You know?
19:06And then, like,
19:07just she's now just got
19:08so deep into it.
19:10Yeah.
19:10That she's like,
19:11like, playing the part.
19:13And it's just...
19:13And you can see
19:14when Anna and Decca,
19:15like, it might be,
19:16like, it comes to her
19:17and she's so terrified
19:19of it being her.
19:20Do you even tell
19:20how much she's enjoying it?
19:21She's really enjoying it.
19:22This is the Ruby
19:23that I thought we were going to see
19:24when she was first announced.
19:26You know,
19:26this is the chaos
19:27that I wanted from day one.
19:29And I'm really excited
19:30that potentially
19:31this sort of
19:32leading role
19:33is just what she needs
19:35to get into character
19:36to sort of cause that.
19:37I wish it was earlier.
19:38Like, I wish she'd been
19:39leader from, like,
19:40so much earlier.
19:41But I'm so happy
19:42that she is
19:42and she's playing
19:43and everyone's, like,
19:44kind of playing with her
19:45and everyone thinks
19:45it's really fun.
19:46Do you think the power's
19:47gone to her head?
19:47Yeah.
19:48Yeah.
19:48Yeah.
19:49That's amazing.
19:50How could it not?
19:51Dude, I had Marvin
19:52as my camp deputy
19:53and if I didn't have him,
19:55it was going to go west.
19:57We were literally
19:58by the pond
19:59a bit downstairs
20:00being like,
20:00right, I'm going to be
20:00Tony on cooking
20:01because I wanted to mix
20:02all the things up.
20:03You need someone next to you
20:04who doesn't let it go
20:06to your head.
20:06Yeah.
20:07Because it will.
20:07It will get up there.
20:08I feel like,
20:09I feel like they've really
20:09got into, like,
20:11everyone.
20:11Like, from Agent Ginger,
20:12the star,
20:13and then it went into Shona
20:14and it's just, like,
20:15everyone's really embracing
20:16the leadership character
20:17and really enjoying it,
20:19juicing the most out of it
20:20and really enjoying it.
20:21It's like theatre school,
20:22isn't it?
20:22It really is.
20:23Having, like, the union
20:24and, like, the strikes
20:25and stuff like that,
20:26it makes it so much
20:27more interesting, I think,
20:28for us to watch it.
20:29And I think, actually,
20:30kudos to the boys
20:31because they threw,
20:32and when you're the first one,
20:34sometimes you might sort of,
20:36like, be like,
20:36I'm just going to be
20:36a really good person
20:37to do that.
20:38And they went full hog.
20:39Which set the precedent, I think.
20:40And now they set a coup.
20:42Then we had the coup.
20:44Let's talk about the coup.
20:44That was, like,
20:45it's, it's,
20:47I just love that they
20:48hate anyone else
20:49being in charge.
20:50And they started,
20:51they were like,
20:51oh, we're not going to do
20:52the washing up anymore.
20:54What did you make
20:54of their reaction
20:55of the whole thing?
20:56I mean, I thought it was funny,
20:56but I thought it was ridiculous
20:57because everyone else
20:58has been doing the same amount
20:59of washing up
21:00for days and days and days.
21:01Maybe muttering under their breath,
21:03but not outwardly complaining.
21:04And they're, like,
21:04we've done one day
21:05and they're like,
21:05listen, no,
21:06we're not going to do it.
21:07We're not going to do it.
21:07Do you know what I find interesting
21:09is that I think Vogue,
21:10that tiny little interaction
21:11between Vogue and H,
21:12that was legit.
21:14That was an actual annoyance.
21:16And they get on so well
21:17that you're always going
21:18to have this, by the way.
21:19Like, this isn't anything
21:20to write home about,
21:21but, like,
21:21that was genuine annoyance.
21:23And you could see them
21:24both biting their tongues
21:25a little bit.
21:26But, I mean,
21:26they haven't charmed Vogue,
21:28I think,
21:29as much as maybe
21:29they've charmed other people.
21:31And, I mean,
21:31she's got three,
21:32she is the personal lady,
21:34actually, I believe,
21:34is Vogue.
21:35So she's sitting there
21:36being like,
21:36I need those dishes clean.
21:37Yeah, but everyone
21:38followed their rules
21:39when they were the leaders.
21:40So I guess,
21:41for her frustration,
21:42it's like,
21:42she had to do it
21:43when they were the leaders.
21:44Yeah.
21:44So it's like,
21:45come on,
21:46now it's the other side.
21:47And also she has just kids,
21:48so she's sort of,
21:49she's sort of maybe
21:50is sort of becoming
21:51that mother role
21:52and in a way of just being like,
21:53do your washing up,
21:54do your chores,
21:54I've given you this job.
21:55It's interesting, though,
21:56because she was always saying
21:57there's going to be rats
21:58in the camp.
21:59So true.
22:00Like, you genuinely do
22:01have to keep it
22:01really, really clean.
22:02And I feel like
22:04the lads have probably,
22:04like, not kept it
22:05as clean as, like,
22:06the others probably have.
22:07Yeah.
22:07That's just an age thing,
22:08I reckon.
22:09And then you can see
22:09that Vogue's, like,
22:10pulling them up on it
22:11a little bit.
22:12And it's just,
22:12I really like those,
22:14and maybe I'm just weird
22:15like this,
22:15but I love those
22:16tiny interactions
22:17that are so real.
22:20Yeah.
22:20And you're like,
22:21ah, saw that.
22:22What do you think it was
22:22that pushed
22:23Age and Ginge
22:24over the edge
22:25to suddenly
22:25get everyone else involved?
22:27I think, okay,
22:27I think it's two things.
22:28I think the whole, like,
22:29dancing thing,
22:30being made to do
22:31the welcome dance,
22:32I think that was,
22:33we spoke about it yesterday
22:33that Lisa was kind of pushing
22:35Ginge a little bit too much.
22:37And then I think
22:37it's also the washing ups.
22:38They just,
22:39and now not the top of the camp.
22:40They're now just not having,
22:41like, the best time ever.
22:42And they're like,
22:43I don't want to do this anymore.
22:44In a really fun way.
22:45I don't think any of this
22:46is serious, by the way.
22:47I think they're having
22:47so much fun with it.
22:48But secret,
22:48they don't want to do chores.
22:49No one does.
22:50I kind of don't blame them.
22:51What do you think of Vogue
22:52calling them out, though?
22:54I, you've got to,
22:55it's got to be done.
22:55You've got to have a fair camp.
22:57Like, they can act up.
22:58And because they're
22:59a little double act in there,
23:00like, I don't think,
23:01if it was one of them
23:02going to Martin,
23:03I don't think it would have stuck.
23:04But the fact you've
23:04already got two on board,
23:06and then you're like,
23:06come on, Jack, get involved.
23:07Come on, Martin, get involved.
23:08Then it drums up support.
23:10I think Martin and Jack
23:11will do their chores,
23:12regardless.
23:13I don't think Martin,
23:13we knew what was happening.
23:14I mean, he was like,
23:15I'm in.
23:16Because all he said,
23:16he went, you do,
23:17and he went,
23:17keep it under my hat.
23:18And then just carried on
23:19what?
23:19And just grinned.
23:20You're like,
23:21you have no idea
23:22what he's just saying.
23:22He's just like,
23:23yeah, I'll agree with you guys.
23:24He's so chill, man.
23:25I love him.
23:26He's so chill, man.
23:26It's just the best.
23:27Well, Vogue's body
23:28may have taken an absolute
23:29battering yesterday,
23:30but she's still got
23:31a fully functioning spine.
23:32Take a look at this
23:33unseen clip of her
23:34standing up to Ruby
23:35earlier in the day.
23:38Oh.
23:39Is there any particular reason
23:40you just destroyed
23:41the campfire?
23:43No, why are you
23:44mushing him up?
23:46She did destroy it.
23:49She does love what she's doing.
23:51OK.
23:52We're just talking about
23:53the palm trees.
23:54Can I let me?
23:54No, the palm trees.
23:56You're talking about
23:57my bloody right.
23:59I saw you're talking
23:59about those.
24:00No, the palm trees.
24:02I was getting clean.
24:03Ruby.
24:04What?
24:05I expected more from you.
24:06I know.
24:07This is exactly
24:08what I expected from you.
24:10She got caught out.
24:11It's incredible,
24:12but I feel like,
24:13do you think this camp
24:13needs someone like Vogue
24:14who is going to stand up
24:16to people like Ruby
24:17and call things out?
24:18Yeah, well,
24:19before that person
24:20was Alex, right?
24:21Alex was the person
24:22to call people out.
24:23She was sort of the person
24:24to be like,
24:24no, follow the rules,
24:25you've got to do your work
24:26and because Alex is now gone,
24:28I think Vogue
24:28has slipped into that place.
24:29But I love it.
24:30I just love the way Ruby
24:32is going.
24:32It's like so,
24:32she doesn't know
24:33what she's doing.
24:34But she's standing
24:35this close to her
24:36and facing her,
24:37not even behind her back.
24:38It's just like saying
24:39it this close.
24:39It's just the quickness
24:41of palm trees.
24:42I wouldn't know
24:43what to do.
24:44I would literally
24:44just discompute
24:45and just glitch.
24:46And then her and Gin,
24:48Ruby and Ginger
24:49are amazing.
24:49Oh, I love them together.
24:51They're such a good bunch.
24:52I love it.
24:53It's so fun to watch.
24:54Well, should we see
24:55what the people back home
24:56are saying, Cathy?
24:57Yes, please.
24:58OK, first up,
24:59this is a voice note
24:59from Louisa.
25:00I feel like the boys
25:05are just hating
25:05that the girls
25:06are telling them
25:06what to do.
25:07Lisa just wanted
25:08a fun dance.
25:10What do you guys think?
25:11Girl power.
25:12Ooh.
25:13Interesting.
25:14I think that's really interesting.
25:15I don't think
25:16I thought of it
25:16in that way,
25:17but I guess when I think
25:18the union was like
25:19all the blokes to,
25:20was all the blokes together.
25:22Yeah.
25:22Whoa, this flies in my grill.
25:24Sorry.
25:24I don't know.
25:25I think it's like boys
25:26just having like a fun time.
25:28I hope and I wouldn't have thought
25:29that it's malicious enough
25:30to purposefully exclude
25:31any of the girls.
25:32Yeah, I suppose it is
25:32like a cliche of like
25:33the boys just being like,
25:34I don't want to do
25:35the washing up.
25:36Yeah, like,
25:36stop making me do it, mum.
25:38Like, let Lisa,
25:39let Ruby, let Shona
25:40have like a little fun.
25:40I don't know if I'd like
25:41to do the dance.
25:42Do you not want to do the dance?
25:43Do the dance.
25:44I can't actually remember
25:44the dance, but...
25:45Do the dance.
25:47Doing that every day,
25:49I'd be like,
25:49you know what,
25:49I'm not sure.
25:50I weirdly,
25:51and I don't think anyone
25:52will think this is actually
25:53true about me,
25:53but this is genuine,
25:54I hate forced fun.
25:56Do you?
25:57Yeah, I don't like forced fun.
25:58I feel like you're a forced fun
25:59kind of guy, Sam.
26:00I'm a forced fun guy.
26:00You give off that vibe.
26:02Joy, one of the guys
26:03just recently off set went,
26:04are you ever just not Sam?
26:07But I don't actually like,
26:08I like chaos,
26:09but like forced fun sucks.
26:10So this is a little bit
26:11too much for you.
26:12Yeah, yeah, yeah.
26:12I'm not,
26:13you know what everyone...
26:13Interesting.
26:15This is great.
26:16Get a real insight.
26:17What else have we got, Kevin?
26:18A WhatsApp from Germaine
26:19says,
26:20another contraband.
26:21Now,
26:21they only have their stars
26:22taken away at this point.
26:23No more Mr. Nice Jungle.
26:25No, but that's serious.
26:26That's legit, by the way.
26:26I'm actually a bit disappointed
26:27and a debt might be having a word.
26:29I feel like
26:30we need to take food away.
26:32They're smashing the trials so much.
26:34I want them to be hungry
26:35because like you saw
26:37that tiny little thing
26:38about Vogue and H.
26:39Imagine that if they're starving.
26:41That's what I want.
26:42You want like half the stars
26:43taken away.
26:44You've had about 30
26:44contrabands in there.
26:45Yeah,
26:46that is the thing.
26:46They really have had
26:48a lot of contraband.
26:49You took away one star?
26:50Yeah.
26:51I want like the whole meal gone.
26:52I mean,
26:53it's the rule of three,
26:54isn't it?
26:54Three strikes.
26:54They've now had three strikes.
26:56They've had the butter,
26:57they've had the air freshener
26:58and they've had the salt.
26:59That's three strikes, man.
27:00They need to...
27:01I mean...
27:02Won't actually be having
27:03a chat with Man of Debt.
27:04We'll probably just be
27:05trying to hug.
27:06But other than that,
27:06you know,
27:07we'd like more stars gone.
27:09Well,
27:09keep those thoughts
27:10and opinions coming, people.
27:12Now,
27:12Tom may have had
27:13an incredible vocabulary,
27:15but if you asked him
27:15some last year's camp,
27:17he would only have one word
27:18and that word
27:19is Dean.
27:20And guess who we've got?
27:21Live from the UK
27:22right now,
27:23it's Dean McCulloch,
27:24everybody.
27:26Dean,
27:26are you there,
27:27my friend?
27:29Hey,
27:29how's it going?
27:30Emily!
27:31Yeah!
27:31This is so good!
27:32This is so good!
27:33How are you?
27:34Are you all right?
27:36I'm really good.
27:37I'm absolutely loving this series.
27:38This is the best show
27:39on TV.
27:41Before we chat
27:42about this series,
27:42let's have a quick look
27:43at your Jungle Highlights
27:44from 2024.
27:46Here we go.
27:47Work it, baby.
27:51They didn't know
27:52that I had it in me
27:53to face the fears
27:54that I've faced.
27:55Oh, my God!
28:00You don't want
28:01to scare the snake.
28:02That's it!
28:03It's all about veneers.
28:05Stop!
28:05I'm just letting me
28:06get me out of here!
28:06I'm just letting me
28:06get me out of here!
28:07Stop, stop, stop!
28:08I think I've done enough trials.
28:10It's got to be good at me!
28:13Wow!
28:14Oh, my God.
28:15So many trials.
28:16Dean,
28:16can you believe
28:17it's been a full year already?
28:19I can and I can.
28:20It feels like
28:21it's gone so, so quick.
28:23I just remember
28:25this exact bit
28:25of this day last year
28:27and it just feels so weird.
28:29It's been such a
28:32world-winning year.
28:33It's still the best thing
28:33I've ever done in my life.
28:35Ever.
28:35You've had such
28:36a brilliant series.
28:37The campmates are amazing.
28:38What do you make
28:39of this year's series
28:40and this year's campmates?
28:42Oh, Kemi,
28:43I absolutely love them.
28:44As soon as I saw that line-up,
28:46I was like,
28:46this is incredible.
28:48I'm not sure
28:49how I would have done
28:49in this camp.
28:50I think that
28:51it's very male-dominated.
28:55I feel like
28:55H and James,
28:56they're just
28:57amazing TV,
28:58chef's kiss.
28:59But I had GK
29:01and Maura
29:01and Oti
29:02and Colleen
29:03in order to bounce off
29:04last year.
29:06And it was just
29:08a different camp.
29:09It was a different camp,
29:10but I'm loving watching them
29:10and I'm just loving
29:12watching Ruby Wax.
29:13Ruby Wax,
29:14I would just watch her
29:15all night.
29:16Yeah, she's making us laugh
29:18so much.
29:18What did you make
29:19about all of the
29:20camp leader drama today?
29:21This is what
29:24I'm a Celeb
29:24is all about
29:25because the tables
29:26can turn in that camp
29:27so quickly.
29:28One day you're doing
29:29the dishes
29:30and one day you're
29:31on the throne.
29:31It's nuts.
29:33And actually,
29:33because there's been
29:34quite a few different
29:35camp leaders,
29:36now you're starting
29:37to see how that
29:37changed the dynamic.
29:39Joel and Sam,
29:41you'll know this.
29:43Your friend telling you
29:44what to do
29:45is so bizarre
29:46because you're like,
29:46hold on a minute,
29:47we're friends.
29:48And then you remember
29:48that they're the leaders
29:49you just have to go
29:50along with it.
29:50Like, it's so weird.
29:52But I love Shona.
29:54Like, I love the fact
29:55that she had
29:56like the burning
29:57of the leaf.
29:58Like, that was just
29:58pure cinema.
29:59I have to rewind it a lot.
30:01And I was like,
30:02TV moment of the year,
30:04surely?
30:05But see,
30:06you,
30:06it's fair to say
30:08that you didn't
30:08sort of enjoy
30:09doing the chores yourself.
30:11What do you think
30:11of H and Jin's
30:12trying to sort of
30:13avoid doing the washing up?
30:15No one likes
30:16doing the chores.
30:17No one.
30:19As I learned
30:20very quickly
30:21and actually
30:21more when I got out,
30:23the worst thing
30:23you can do
30:24is complain
30:24about the chores
30:25because everyone
30:27just thinks you're lazy.
30:28Whereas actually,
30:30I think what they're
30:30doing this year,
30:31which is what we did
30:32last year,
30:32was like,
30:33we're playing with it
30:34and having fun with it
30:35because at the end
30:36of the day,
30:37the chores need
30:37to be done.
30:38But I think it's like
30:39last year,
30:40I said,
30:41like, I hate my job.
30:42Like, we all hated
30:43doing the water.
30:44We all hated
30:44doing the dunny.
30:45And I think it's okay
30:46that the boys
30:48are like revolted
30:49against it
30:49because we love
30:50watching that at home.
30:51Like, you can say
30:52what you want
30:53on Twitter,
30:53you can say
30:54what you want
30:54in the comments,
30:54but it's bloody good TV.
30:56Yeah.
30:57It was so good.
30:57I'll tell you what
30:58is good TV.
30:59Contraband.
31:00We remember
31:00your teabag scandal
31:02from last year.
31:03What do you think
31:04of Shona
31:04keeping the butter
31:05for herself?
31:07No, see,
31:08this isn't good
31:09because if you bring
31:10Contraband at the camp,
31:11like, you have to share
31:11it with everybody.
31:13Like, there's no point
31:14bringing it in
31:15if you're not going to share it.
31:16I don't really understand that.
31:17But, like,
31:17will we ever find out
31:18where she got that butter from?
31:20Because those wee butter things,
31:21like, they're nowhere
31:22near the jungle.
31:24Someone had to bring that in.
31:26Yeah.
31:26Yeah.
31:26Absolutely.
31:27We were all discussing,
31:27like, where does she get it from?
31:28Where does she get it?
31:29Oh, now, never forget
31:29your teabags last year.
31:31Yeah.
31:31You couldn't have made it
31:32more obvious.
31:32Yeah.
31:32Basically, the only person
31:34who made it more obvious
31:35than Alex Scott
31:35putting salt into the meals,
31:37just like,
31:37I've got teabags.
31:39I've got the teabags.
31:42I just didn't think
31:43that they filmed
31:44absolutely everything.
31:45Oh, yeah.
31:46Oh, yeah.
31:46Absolutely.
31:47Just quickly,
31:48let's talk about the trials.
31:49How good was Lisa today?
31:50She was brilliant, wasn't she?
31:52Oh, my God.
31:53Lisa absolutely smashed it.
31:54And you can tell
31:54that it really meant a lot
31:55to her to do those trials
31:57because she's not had one yet
31:58and we've all been voting,
31:59like, Lisa, Lisa, Lisa.
32:00So, yeah, she did amazing.
32:01But I wish that I had have done
32:03what Lisa did last year
32:05and, like,
32:07been proud of myself
32:07for bringing back two stars
32:09but being even more proud
32:10of myself for bringing back
32:11the ten stars in my head.
32:15Dean, finally,
32:16do you have your winner yet?
32:18Oh, my God.
32:19It changes every day.
32:20I mean, Ruby Wax,
32:21I would love Ruby to win.
32:22It's been a while
32:23since a lady has won the show.
32:24So I would love Ruby to win
32:26but I would be happy with Tom
32:28or, I mean,
32:29I think H or Ginge
32:31has it in the bag.
32:32Like, I see the fans online.
32:33Like, everyone loves them.
32:35But, yeah,
32:36I think I would quite like
32:37a girl to bring it home this year.
32:38Girl power and all of that.
32:39I love that, Dean.
32:40Thank you so much
32:41for being on the show.
32:42Give it up for Dean, everybody.
32:43Lovely stuff.
32:45So, Eddie is the second campmate
32:47to leave the jungle
32:48and Kemi is going to grab him
32:49for their first chat right now.
32:51See you later.
32:52Come back after the break
32:53for that chat
32:54and much, much more.
32:55See you in a few.
32:56Have respect.
32:56Welcome back to Unpacked, everybody.
33:06Time for another unseen clip.
33:07Rappers are often seen in da club,
33:10but H is more used to a bar.
33:12Take a look at this.
33:14Two juice, one lime.
33:15OK.
33:18I got my first platinum record
33:24when I was 19.
33:27I was a gold medal gymnast.
33:33And when I was younger,
33:36I broke my leg falling off scaffolding.
33:40Which one is the lie?
33:42Gymnast.
33:43Scaffolding.
33:45Scaffolding is a lie.
33:46Hang on, hang on, hang on.
33:47What did you say?
33:48You have to agree as a three.
33:49Gymnast is a lie.
33:51No, I think he was a gymnast.
33:53He was a gymnast.
33:54He was a gymnast, definitely.
33:55Yeah, yeah.
33:56What made you think that?
33:57I just feel you would be.
33:58Your physique.
34:01You bang on.
34:02Yeah.
34:03He was a gymnast?
34:04What?
34:05Absolutely love that.
34:06Is he a gold medalist?
34:07Can you just imagine him
34:08just finishing a move
34:09and going like this,
34:10going, Manchester!
34:11I just can't imagine H doing that.
34:14The pommel horse,
34:15whatever it's called.
34:16So we finally got to see Lisa do a trial
34:18and she really delivered.
34:21Here's a reminder.
34:23Oh my God, it is pitch black.
34:25Oh my God, there's rats.
34:27Oh my God, oh my God.
34:28What's that?
34:28Is that a camera?
34:29Don't pick up the cameras.
34:30We need them.
34:31Ah, what's this?
34:32What?
34:32That's a fake.
34:33Green ants in there with you.
34:35Oh, everything's biting me now.
34:36Oh, that's a real one.
34:38I've got one.
34:39Slipping in your sack.
34:40Oh, boys, you're exciting me in this tunnel.
34:43Hold on.
34:44One, two, three, four.
34:45No, that's a fake.
34:45Check the walls.
34:46Oh, the wall.
34:47The wall.
34:48One minute left.
34:50No.
34:50Oh, hold on.
34:51Yes.
34:52Yes, a real one.
34:53Diamonds really are a girl's breast friend, eh?
34:55Not when you're covered in this shit.
34:58Get the bloody nap after this.
35:00We've been waiting for her to do a trial.
35:03Yeah.
35:04Were you sort of pleased with how well she did?
35:06I really was, man.
35:07Like, you could tell she really wanted to do one as well.
35:09Yeah.
35:09And, man, I think, I'm pretty sure those are the two things that she's most frightened of.
35:14Yeah.
35:14So, and she absolutely nailed it.
35:16And that's what the camp is so close together that she obviously just didn't want to let anyone down.
35:20And I love it when people are doing trials and they narrate it themselves.
35:24Yeah.
35:24So, when they talk to themselves, it's so much better.
35:27She has such a sweet voice as well.
35:29When she was doing it, she was, like, just narrating the whole thing.
35:32The entire time, I was like, oh, imagine if she was, like, the voice of, like, an animated rat or something.
35:37She just has that beautiful voice.
35:38You could have given her anything.
35:39I know.
35:41Maybe a cuter animal.
35:42I don't know.
35:42I don't know.
35:43Do you think it was one of the hardest trials this year, do you think?
35:46For her, absolutely, yeah.
35:47Just because of what I know that she's scared of.
35:49But, I mean, look, dude, we both have green ants, man.
35:51Oh, my God.
35:53Green ants are so, like, they're bitey.
35:56Yeah.
35:56And I could see them crawling all up her arms and stuff.
35:59And she just didn't let it faze her at all.
36:01Yeah.
36:01Do you think the darkness sort of makes it worse?
36:04Or do you think it makes it better?
36:05Because in one side, I sort of go, like, oh, my God, it's really horrible.
36:08You can find space is darkness.
36:10I'm scared of the dark as a 40-year-old man.
36:12And so...
36:12I'm scared of the dark and confident woman.
36:17And, um, it's, uh...
36:20And do you think it makes it harder or easier?
36:29Because if you're in the dark, you can't see what you're approaching.
36:32Dude, all you have to do is plonk me in the sea, and the moment my foot touches anything, I panic.
36:39So I don't like not being able to see and then touching things.
36:41It's horrible.
36:42So, like, I'd much prefer it to be light.
36:44Interesting.
36:45Dude, if you're, like, if you're paddling in the water and something touches your foot in the sea, do you not freak out?
36:50Yeah, yeah.
36:51It's the same thing with Lisa.
36:52If it's dark and you put your hand in something, you have no idea what that is.
36:56It depends if that thing that's touching me as a confident woman, in which case I'm all over the shop.
37:00It was also the happiest star count I think I've ever seen.
37:05I think we've got five.
37:06Look at her face.
37:07Do you know what?
37:08She's pure joy, man.
37:10Like, if you look at her face there, that is someone who has such a beautiful soul.
37:14Yeah.
37:14And you can see through the smile.
37:16I mean, I'm no psychologist, but, like, I feel like you can look at her face and be like,
37:20you are a lovely, lovely lady, and I think she's enjoying it so much.
37:24And this is what I think this show is all about, is getting people from completely...
37:28You've got H in there, you've got Lisa in there, and everyone's come together,
37:31and, like, the happiness on her face just shows how great a show this is.
37:34Yeah, that's the happiness on the face of someone who got eight out of, like, 10 stars, was it?
37:39Yeah.
37:39At this point, 11 stars.
37:40She's just...
37:41Just what a joy...
37:43Everything she does, even with the letters, with the trial, she just shows everything on her face.
37:49I mean, she's the perfect actress.
37:50She just emotes so much.
37:52She actually got really emotional today after the trial.
37:55It just...
37:56It meant so much to her.
37:57Yeah, and I think that's the thing as well, when you get picked,
38:00when you sort of, like, have to put yourself forward now as well.
38:02Mm-hmm.
38:03I think that you have that extra little onus to go and do something for everybody.
38:06But also, when are you ever going to do something like this?
38:10I feel like it's not Lisa's strong point in, like...
38:13I know it's not, being in dark, enclosed spaces and...
38:15Yeah.
38:16You know, she's...
38:16So, to go through something like that, I think you are really proud of yourself, aren't you?
38:21And you come through and you go, this is something I might never do again.
38:25Yeah.
38:25And you want to make the best of it you possibly can.
38:27So, it does get a little bit like that.
38:28And Anna Decker there.
38:30Yeah, well, true.
38:31Do you know how funny it is, having them in your ear?
38:33And you're like, oh, my God, like, it's so cool.
38:35And she would have felt the exact same way.
38:36I know exactly what you mean.
38:38Well, the campmates have been voting for who is doing the next trial, and we can now exclusively reveal who they've picked.
38:45It is going to be Ruby.
38:47Yes!
38:48Come on!
38:48And she will be facing the misfortune tellers.
38:52Ruby will have to take on six misfortune-telling machines, but they'll have to misfortunes red.
38:57They'll have to find stars within the machines, but each one will contain the likes of lizards, eels, green ants, spiders, cockroaches, mealworms, crickets, and snakes.
39:08Yes!
39:09Everything.
39:09Yes!
39:10It is going to be absolutely incredible for Ruby.
39:13Again, at this perfect time where she's starting to really enjoy herself.
39:16No, give her green ants.
39:17Give her green ants as well.
39:18Give her green ants.
39:18I want green ants.
39:19I want eels.
39:20They've got the whole shebang on that as well.
39:22They've even got the snakes at the end, just to really round it off.
39:24Mate, that is tough for anybody.
39:27I cannot wait for that.
39:29I think it's perfect.
39:30I think Ruby is the perfect person to do that.
39:32Shall we find out if Kemi has found a head down at the truck clearing?
39:36Kemi, how are you getting on?
39:37Hello.
39:38Yeah, I'm here.
39:38And I've just spotted Eddie.
39:39Come in, take a seat.
39:41Oh, my God.
39:42Come on, it's busy.
39:48That's the reception you want after coming out of the jungle, isn't it?
39:50Absolutely.
39:51But it sounds like those birds that kept us up with the night.
39:53Oh, is it kind of triggering for you?
39:55A little bit, yeah.
39:56I'm sorry.
39:57I missed them.
39:57I missed them.
39:58Keep it down.
39:58I missed them.
39:59No, thank you, guys.
39:59Hushed applause, hushed applause.
40:01How are you feeling right now?
40:02You've literally just come out of the jungle.
40:04I don't know how I feel, Kemi.
40:06It's so weird because I'm really happy to be outside,
40:10but I'm also really sad to leave.
40:12Really?
40:12You know, it almost felt like you were just ill-prepared.
40:14Really?
40:14Yeah, you know, because you expect it every night.
40:17Even when, you know, when I was under immunity when Alex left,
40:21so you kind of knew that you had an extra day at the very least,
40:23but this time round, you just prepared for it.
40:26The night before I prepared for it, I tried to take stuff in,
40:28but you just, until when your name is mentioned,
40:31and it's such a rush, suddenly...
40:32Do you think everyone will be feeling that?
40:34I think so.
40:34Everyone will be panicking tonight?
40:35Absolutely.
40:36Absolutely.
40:36They will be panicking because it's such a rush.
40:38Suddenly you go, you just go.
40:39You just leave quickly, and it's like, yeah,
40:42and then they're so distant.
40:45They're so distant at the moment.
40:47They're so far away from the just there.
40:48Oh, my God, but I could still see Ruby.
40:50Ruby was sitting there.
40:51Could you see her when you crossed the bridge?
40:52I could see her, yes.
40:53I mean, but obviously you had your bestie, Deji, on the bridge.
40:56How was it seeing him?
40:57You know, Deji's like my younger brother, you know?
41:00The only thing we don't share is blood.
41:02Honestly, I've known him since he was 12 years old,
41:05and he has sacrificed himself for me,
41:08not just in terms of my career, just me as a person,
41:10and the things that we've been through.
41:12Honestly, I couldn't have shared that moment.
41:15I love my family dearly,
41:16but I couldn't have shared that moment with anybody else
41:19because he's the most selfless person I've ever met, you know?
41:22He didn't have to be there for me.
41:24He could have gone out with his own life,
41:25but he's been the person that would be like,
41:27bro, don't worry, we'll get there one day.
41:29Something will happen.
41:29Don't worry, man.
41:31Yeah.
41:31And here it is, and it was such a beautiful embrace.
41:33I mean, now that you are out,
41:34what's the first thing you're doing
41:35when you're going back to that hotel later on?
41:37I need to face down my door.
41:38I don't know what time.
41:40It must be pretty late,
41:41but I either wake her up or just take her to our room,
41:44take the phone to our room.
41:45I just want her, I need to see her.
41:46Well, we'll get you to do that in just a few minutes' time.
41:49Are you going to be doing any deep sea diving here in Australia?
41:52Because we saw you in your water trial.
41:54I thought you overcame a fear there a little bit.
41:55I'm wouldn't.
41:56Because, listen, when I saw those crocs,
41:58Kemi, hey,
41:59when I saw those crocs and I saw the snakes,
42:01I said, it's over.
42:02I couldn't breathe anymore.
42:02You said mannequin.
42:03Yeah, because I thought I worked out a technique.
42:05And I thought, ooh, my little one's going to be proud.
42:07After that, oxygen left me, boy.
42:08You did pretty well.
42:09We've actually just found out, you won't know this,
42:11that Ruby is going to be doing the next trial.
42:14How do you think she's...
42:15Look at this face.
42:15What is she going to be doing?
42:16It's misfortune tellers.
42:17There's all the critters in the world.
42:19Cockroaches, spiders.
42:20There were lots.
42:21Can I be honest with you?
42:22I feel sorry for those animals.
42:24Did you see what she did to the snakes?
42:25Oh, yeah.
42:25Oh, my...
42:26The snakes weren't doing their thing
42:27and Ruby just kept straightening them out,
42:29like rulers.
42:29Like, yeah.
42:30I feel sorry for them.
42:31A little bit.
42:32But, hey, I'm happy Ruby's gone out there.
42:33She's a champion.
42:34I think she's going to do really, really well.
42:35She's incredible.
42:36It'll be good to see.
42:37She'll feed the family.
42:38Now, Eddie, you might remember,
42:39before you went into the jungle,
42:40you surrendered your favourite ever snack
42:42to the Unpacked team.
42:44I've got a little present for you.
42:45Call me Mrs Christmas.
42:46Come on, Ken.
42:47This is for you, my darling.
42:49Unrub that.
42:50And you've got to tell us what is in there.
42:52Oh.
42:54Hey.
42:55Do you know what, yeah?
42:57They tried to give me some gummy bears
42:59and I promise you,
43:01I tried one and I couldn't,
43:02but this...
43:03Where are those originals?
43:05Where are those originals, man?
43:06Magic moments.
43:07And that's just like...
43:07Can I get...
43:08Honestly, tuck straight in,
43:10tuck straight into your little old man suite.
43:12I love it.
43:13I love it.
43:14Sorry, no shade.
43:15You just come out.
43:15I just cannot get a vibe by them.
43:18I've got free life with these.
43:19Yeah.
43:19All right.
43:20Will you shove a load into your gob?
43:21Give it up for Eddie, everyone.
43:22Woo!
43:23Thanks for you.
43:24I love that.
43:28Thank you, Kemi,
43:29or Mrs Christmas,
43:30as we're now calling you.
43:32Sam, before you go,
43:34who do you think is in danger tomorrow?
43:36Oh, Joe, I hate it when you ask me this question.
43:38I know, sorry.
43:38I don't know, it's such an amazing camp.
43:42I could possibly see,
43:44which is crazy because she's such a strong character,
43:46and maybe with Eddie leaving now,
43:48it gives her a little bit more room to breathe
43:50and sort of have a bit more energy around the camp,
43:53but maybe Vogue.
43:54Yeah.
43:54Maybe Vogue,
43:55because I haven't seen much today.
43:57Actually, it was probably the most I've seen for her
43:58since she came in.
44:00But I'd probably,
44:01oh, maybe Kelly.
44:03Maybe Kelly, maybe Vogue.
44:04I think those two are definitely up there.
44:06Martin, I think also,
44:07he seems to have such a loyal fan base.
44:10Martin's going nowhere.
44:11Martin could say nothing
44:12and get to the final.
44:14Yeah.
44:15He's still the most beautiful man on the planet.
44:17He is so beautiful, isn't he?
44:19Oh, my God, those eyes.
44:20I don't think he's stopped smiling since he got in there.
44:22And I love that about him as well.
44:24Do you know what?
44:24I sent Roman a photo of me and his mum down there
44:27with the friends and family.
44:28And Roman literally just went,
44:30I'm watching you on there, mate.
44:30Why are you covering the hairline with the glasses?
44:34I love that we're all texting Roman
44:35at the same time as doing our show.
44:37Martin's great, man.
44:38I love him.
44:39He's so chill.
44:39I just love his vibe.
44:41He's really wicked.
44:42Sam, thank you so much.
44:43Absolutely excellent work.
44:44That's all we have time for, I'm afraid.
44:46But Sam will be back on our sofa tomorrow with Eddie.
44:49How exciting.
44:50We'll see you tomorrow at 10.20 on ITV2.
44:52Keep it real, people.
44:53Great stuff.
