Adam Savage is returning to Discovery and Science Channels with a new series.

00:00Adam Savage is making his comeback to Discovery in science channels with a brand new

00:04series titled, Savage Builds. The new show, which is set to debut in June, will see the

00:09former Mythbusters and Unchained Reaction co-hosts take on the biggest and baddest

00:13builds of his career. The eight-episode series, which will premiere on Science and then

00:17air afterward on Discovery, finds Savage combining his insatiable curiosity and nearly

00:22unparalleled inventiveness as he attempts to build working, innovative items. One such

00:26example is a 3D-printed titanium suit of armor inspired by the Iron Man films that

00:31actually flies. Savage will collaborate with notable experts in their fields, friends,

00:35colleagues and others for each episode, which will focus on one project. For the

00:39titanium Iron Man-inspired suit, Adam enlists the help of Richard Browning, famous for his

00:43gravity jet suit, which is powered by five 1,000-horsepower mini-jet engines strapped to

00:48his body. Said Savage,

00:56And of course, the most absurd ideas are often what generates the most innovative

01:08engineering. Added Nancy Daniels, chief brand officer at Discovery and Factual,

01:13Adam's enthusiasm for science is contagious. Savage Builds is the perfect showcase for

01:17him to do what he loves to do on a scale that hasn't been done before. Savage co-hosted

01:22the popular series Mythbusters for 14 seasons, from 2003 to 2016, alongside Jamie

01:27Hindman, with whom he also co-hosted the 2012 game show Unchained Reaction.
