00:28On the fourth and final day of his apostolic journey to Turkey,

00:32Pope Leo XIV began the day with a prayer at the Armenian Apostolic Cathedral in Istanbul.

00:39Pope Leo expressed his gratitude for the growing fraternal bonds

00:43that unite the apostolic Armenian Church and the Catholic Church.

00:48He expressed his hopes that the Joint International Commission for Theological Dialogue

00:53between the Catholic Church and the Oriental Orthodox Churches

00:57may soon be able to resume its work to seek full communion.

01:02The Armenian Apostolic Patriarch of Constantinople, Sahak II Marshalyan,

01:07said that Christian churches need to find new ways to think about and a new model, a new pattern of ecumenism.

01:16After that, the Pope Leo attended the Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Church of St. George in Istanbul,

01:24the Ecumenical Patriarchate, and together with Patriarch Bartholomew I underscored the bonds that unite in Christian faith

01:32and the continuing common efforts working for full communion.

01:37Over 400 members of the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate attended the gathering

01:54The Pope is departing on this Sunday from Istanbul, Turkey, towards Beyrut, capital of Lebanon,

02:01to continue his apostolic journey where he will be received on this Sunday by the President of the Republic,

02:08the President of the National Assembly, as well as the country's Prime Minister.

02:13On Monday, he is expected to held a prayer in the Monastery of St. Maroon,

02:18followed by a meeting with bishops, the Catholic patriarchs, and a prayer and inter-religious meeting

02:26in the Martyr Square of Beyrut, capital of Lebanon, as well as meetings with the local youth.

02:33On Tuesday, December 2nd, he will visit a church-led hospital and held a public Mass before returning to the Vatican in the afternoon
