00:03Yeah, you mean because he killed all our friends?
00:05No surprise, Endgame is poised for a monstrous opening weekend,
00:09but just how big will the Marvel films debut be?
00:12Well, early tracking for the superhero movie has it coming in at anywhere from $200 to $250 million
00:18at the domestic box office over the April 26th to 28th weekend.
00:22We're the Avengers. We gotta finish this.
00:26Now for comparison, Avengers Infinity War opened to $257.6 million on the same weekend in April 2018,
00:34marking the biggest North American launch of all time, unadjusted for inflation.
00:39But that film did beat early expectations. When Infinity War first came up on tracking,
00:44it was tipped for a debut of $185 to $225 million.
00:48Globally, Infinity War debuted to $640.5 million, which was also a record.
00:53Some box office analysts believe Endgame could open in the $750 to $800 million range worldwide.
00:59This is gonna work, Steve.
01:01I know it is. Because I don't know what I'm gonna do if it doesn't.
01:05Interest in Endgame is crazy high, with online websites for AMC theaters and Fandango
01:10becoming clogged with traffic after tickets went on sale Tuesday.
01:13Both companies, along with Adam Tickets, are reporting that ticket sales in the first 24 hours
01:18are the biggest in history, surpassing previous record holder Star Wars The Force Awakens.
01:23Alright, for the latest on all things Endgame, head to THR.com.
01:26Until next time, for The Hollywood Reporter News, I'm Tiffany Taylor.
