A newly announced film called 'DC Super Pets' will open in summer 2021, while the studio also dates Anne Hathaway's 'The Witches' for fall 2020 and moves up the debut of 'Doctor Sleep.'

00:16while The Suicide Squad will open on August 6th, 2021.
00:19Earlier in the summer, Warner Brothers will release
00:21the newly announced film DC Super Pets on May 21st, 2021.
00:25As for The Suicide Squad, the sequel to 2016 Suicide Squad
00:29has enlisted Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn
00:31to write the script and direct.

00:37And Reeves' The Batman has been one of the most closely watched
00:40superhero movies in development.
00:42Ben Affleck is the most recent actor to play The Dark Knight
00:44in movies such as Batman Vs. Superman,
00:46Dawn of Justice in 2016, and Justice League in 2017.

01:06Affleck shared a tweet that The Hollywood Reporter
01:08has confirmed is the actor saying goodbye to the role.
01:11He wrote,
01:12excited for the Batman in summer 2021,
01:15and to see Matt Reeves' vision come to life.
01:17In other changes to its release calendar,
01:19Warner Brothers has moved the Stephen King adaptation,
01:21Doctor Sleep, up from January 24th, 2020,
01:24to November 8th, 2019,
01:26and dated the Robert Zemeckis film,
01:28The Witches, starring Anne Hathaway for October 16th, 2020.
