00:00Edie Falco was a bit confused about the release of Avatar The Way of Water, saying she thought it already came out.

00:15During a recent visit to ABC's The View, the actress admitted that she filmed her role in James Cameron's long-awaited sequel
00:22so long ago that she assumed it had already hit theaters and underperformed.
00:26I shot, I think, four years ago.
00:28Oh, wow.
00:29And then I've been busy, I'm doing stuff, and then somebody mentioned Avatar, and I thought,
00:32oh, I guess it came out and didn't do very well, because I didn't hear anything, so I hope that it happens, you know.
00:36She continued saying, and then somebody recently said, oh, Avatar's coming out.
00:40Falco said she responded with, oh, it hasn't come out yet?
00:43The original Avatar, starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Stephen Lang,
00:48was released in December of 2009 and became the highest-grossing film ever to that point.
00:53After sharing the funny story, the Emmy-winning Sopranos and nurse Jackie alum quipped,
00:57I will never work again because I said that.
01:00She went on to note that she had yet to see the sequel, but was excited for it.
01:03Avatar The Way of Water opened to $134 million in North America over the weekend and $441.6 million worldwide.
