Beyoncé and couture fashion house Balmain are collaborating on a capsule collection to benefit charity.
Transcript
00:00Beyoncé plus Balmain plus Charity. Yes, please. If you remember those nights at Coachella,
00:12Beyoncé's dancers wore Balmain looks on stage inspired by marching band uniforms of
00:17America's historically black colleges and universities.
00:20Well, that's when the idea was conceived. The mini collection composed of the yellow and pink
00:31sweatshirts that Bey wore on stage and a black tee with the same graphic will launch July 13 in
00:37Paris and will be available the following day on Beyoncé.com and Balmain.com.
00:43Creative director Olivier Roustet said of the collab,
00:46I worked really long with her on the Beachella moments and the fact that we can release this
00:51collaboration that is based on our creativity, Beyoncé and I is a really big, big step for fashion and music together.
01:02I am getting information for sure. Now the best part of this? Proceeds from the collection
01:07will benefit the United Negro College Fund following Beyoncé's $100,000 donation to four
01:13historically-backed colleges after her Coachella set. A generous queen. Now give me one of those hoodies, girl.
