00:06Smith told the crowd that his appearance was about supporting his wife like she had supported him throughout his career.
00:12It comes following the revelation that the duo were separated in 2016 and had been living apart for years.
00:17According to the Baltimore Sun, Smith said while on stage,
00:21I just wanted to come out and just be here and hold it down for you the way you have held it down for me.
00:25We have had a very, very long and tumultuous relationship.
00:29We call it Brutiful.
00:31He added, it was brutal and beautiful at the same time.
00:34Smith also told the audience,
00:35Our union is a sloppy experiment in unconditional love.
00:39Jada is the best friend I have ever had on this planet,
00:42and I am going to show up for her and support her for the rest of my life.
00:45During the conversation, Pinkett Smith once again squashed divorce rumors saying Will and me are good.
00:50She continued, all the people who don't understand and got something to say are just going to have to fall in line.
00:56The truth of the matter is I'm not leaving Will's side.
00:59And he's not going to leave mine.
