00:00Amy Schumer is revealing how she really felt about the Barbie movie after previously working
00:05on an earlier version of the film that never made it to the big screen. The comedian took part in
00:10the Barbenheimer craze, with many moviegoers seeing both Barbie and Oppenheimer over the
00:15weekend. In an Instagram post on Monday, she wrote that she really enjoyed both films,
00:20but she joked that she thinks she should have played Emily Blunt's role in Oppenheimer,
00:24saying, do better Hollywood. Schumer was previously tapped to star as the iconic fashion doll in a
00:29live-action movie that was set up at Sony in 2016. That film was described as a fish-out-of-water
00:35story about a woman kicked out of Barbie-land for not being perfect enough. Schumer dropped out of
00:40the project four months later, citing scheduling conflicts before Anne Hathaway took on the role
00:44of Barbie, and then Margot Robbie's production company Lucky Chap successfully convinced Warner
00:49Brothers to take on the film. The comedian previously told The Hollywood Reporter,
00:53they definitely didn't want to do it the way I wanted to do it, the only way I was interested in
00:58doing it. Schumer wrote her Barbie as an ambitious inventor. The studio wanted said invention to be
01:04a jello high heel. For more details on this story, head to THR.com. And for the latest entertainment
