00:00It looks like Cardi B won't be facing charges for throwing her microphone at a concert goer
00:05who threw a drink on her. The viral video made the rounds last weekend in which the rapper was
00:10seen throwing her microphone at an audience member who tossed their drink at her while
00:14she was performing on stage. The audience member filed a police report for Battery the very next
00:19day, saying they were struck by an object thrown from the stage. But no arrests or citations were
00:24issued and authorities say the case is now closed. The Las Vegas Police Department said in a statement
00:30obtained by The Hollywood Reporter that the case has been closed as having insufficient evidence.
00:35No charges will be filed. The incident was the latest in a disturbing trend in recent months of
00:40artists having objects thrown at them while on stage, with some artists being harmed in the
00:45process, from separate concert goers hurling a cell phone at Drake, as well as Bebe Rexha giving her a
00:50black eye to someone throwing a bracelet at Kelsey Ballerini, hitting her in the eye and forcing her
00:56to stop her performance. For more on this story, head to THR.com. And for the latest entertainment
