00:37best rap song, performance, and album before being detained, handcuffed, and charged with
00:41misdemeanor battery following an apparent scuffle with the security guard that occurred outside
00:45the Crypto.com Arena. After being placed under arrest, the Atlanta-based rapper was questioned
00:50at the arena and then transported to LAPD Central Division, where he was booked for a misdemeanor.
00:55In his statement, Killer Mike thanked his fans for their goodwill messages. He said,
00:59I greatly appreciate the concern and support, but I am better than OK. A source close to Killer
01:03Mike said, The situation has been overblown, but we are confident that the facts of the case,
01:08when laid bare, will show that Mike did not commit the alleged offense and he will be exonerated.
