00:01Thousands of people gathered in major cities globally to mark the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian people.
00:09Climate activist Greta Thunberg and UN's Francesca Albanese led the march in Rome.
00:15The protest was organized by Grassroots Union USB, which denounced Italy's complicity with Israel and called for an immediate stop to all forms of military cooperation.
00:26Also in other major cities across the globe, thousands of people took to the streets.
00:34We're out to show our unbreakable solidarity with our Palestinian sisters and brothers, especially those in Gaza and also the West Bank experiencing genocide and ethnic cleansing.
00:44And although it's kind of gone off the airwaves, Palestinians are being killed by Israel every day.
00:50So we're here to show them that we stand with them always.
00:53November 29 marks 77 years since the UN adopted the partition plan for Palestine,
01:00which saw the withdrawal of British troops in the region and the creation of Palestinian and Israeli states.
