00:00After Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, another rally is taking place here in the Italian capital.
00:14At this time yesterday, around 2 million people, that's according to Italy's main union, CGL,
00:21took part in the general strike and in the protests that took place across the country.
00:28Today, the same amount of people, if not more, are expected to join the protests,
00:35partly because it's the weekend, but also because many decided not to strike on Friday.
00:41But the reasons why these people have taken to the streets haven't changed.
00:45They're here to protest against the war in Gaza, to support Palestinians in Gaza,
00:51and also the Flotilla and its crew members who were arrested by Israeli forces.
00:56Italy's Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni says that these protests are mainly directed against the government
01:02and Italy's Interior Minister Piantedosi said that he hopes that today's protests will be peaceful
01:09and that there won't be any incidents like those that happened on Friday
01:14and that the government is closely monitoring the Flotilla.
01:18Other rallies are taking place at the same time across Europe.
