Short filmTranscript
00:00The film focused on an Egyptian psychiatrist named Dr. Yehia Rashid,
00:05who had been absent from his job at the Alabashia Psychiatric Hospital for five years.
00:09He spent that time consumed by drugs, heavy drinking, and gambling,
00:14as he was suffering from deep depression after his wife and daughter died in a car crash,
00:18leaving him as the sole survivor.
00:20He was living alone, though sometimes there was a woman named Maya who occasionally stayed over.
00:25One day, Dr. Yehia eventually agreed to return to work after receiving a firm warning
00:31from the hospital director, Dr. Safiya, who threatened to fire him and made him face legal sanctions.
00:37While on his way back to the facility, Dr. Yehia briefly read a newspaper article
00:42about a robbery that had occurred at the Museum of Islamic Art three months prior.
00:46Besides being a doctor, Dr. Yehia was doing a thesis, but he hadn't completed it yet,
00:52which was entitled Psychoanalysis Through Body Language,
00:55which focused on studying body movements and facial expressions through psychology.
00:59Upon arrival at the facility, Dr. Safiya assigned Dr. Yehia to work in a section of the hospital
01:05called West 8 or Garb 8, which was considered the most strictly secured prison system in Egypt at the
01:11time, where high-profile convicts and dangerously mentally ill patients who had committed horrific
01:16crimes stayed. After meeting Dr. Safiya, Dr. Yehia headed to the Garb 8. For information,
01:22the facility was made up of three wards. They were Ward A, designated for the most dangerous
01:28patients, Ward B for patients considered normal, and Ward C reserved exclusively for female patients.
01:35Out of the 73 cases being handled there, 61 were murder cases. Afterward, Dr. Yehia was shown the
01:42various rooms in the section, including the nurse's station, the head of department's office,
01:46the committee meeting room, and finally the doctor's office that Dr. Yehia would occupy.
01:52After his orientation, Dr. Yehia Rashid was met by an old friend, Dr. Sameh, who invited him to look
01:59at the patients in the ward area. They saw truly disturbing cases, ranging from a patient who
02:04murdered his wife and stored her body in the refrigerator, to another who poisoned his own
02:08parents. Later that day, Dr. Yehia went gambling with his friends. When one of them began telling a
02:14story, Dr. Yehia immediately knew the person was lying just by watching his body language,
02:20thanks to the body gesture knowledge he was applying to his thesis.
02:23That night at home, before going to sleep, Dr. Yehia checked a letter that had been sent to him.
02:29It contained an unusual image of nine strange boxes. Then he tried to sleep, but as usual,
02:34he could not sleep soundly. When he woke up, he suddenly saw a robed figure and a black dog.
02:40Most likely, he was still deeply troubled by the loss of his wife and child, even after five years.
02:45The next day, Dr. Yehia started his work in the GARB 8 section. However, he was completely shocked
02:51by the arrival of a new patient named Sharif El-Kordi, who was accused of brutally killing
02:56his pregnant wife Basma inside their own apartment. It was revealed that Sharif was not just a patient,
03:02he was also a doctor and Dr. Yehia's senior from their university days.
03:06They had last seen each other about 10 years ago. Ironically, Sharif now behaved like a confused
03:12person who found it difficult to speak, despite having been a very active student and the head
03:17of the student union in the past. It appeared that Sharif did not recognize Dr. Yehia at all,
03:23and with a terrified expression, he only requested that his food be given extra salt.
03:27After that, Dr. Yehia explained that the GARB 8 committee would follow up on Sharif's case
03:32within the next three weeks, and he needed Sharif to start talking so he could help him.
03:37However, because Sharif remained silent, Dr. Yehia gave him a pen and paper so he could
03:41write down whatever he wanted to say. Oddly, after writing a series of numbers resembling
03:46a phone number that started with 401 and ended with 0-1-10, Sharif deliberately made himself
03:51vomit. Later at home, Dr. Yehia checked Sharif's case file. In the report, Sharif claimed he had
03:57not killed his wife and had not even touched her. However, Sharif was found in his apartment
04:01with the victim, and his urine sample was found on the crime scene wall. Furthermore,
04:06the victim's autopsy showed a circular incision on her left thigh, 5 centimeters in diameter,
04:11which suggested skin had been peeled away by a sharp object. Tragically, there was also evidence
04:17of forced sexual assault before the victim died, and her fetus, which was only about 8 weeks old,
04:22was aborted. Shortly after, Dr. Yehia received a phone call from a woman named Lobna, his ex-girlfriend
04:29from college, who was also Sharif's sister. She wanted to meet with Dr. Yehia because she had
04:34information she needed to share. The next day at the facility, Dr. Yehia met with Sharif and showed
04:39him an old photo of him and Lobna, also mentioning that his sister had called last night and wanted to
04:44meet. Dr. Yehia then asked Sharif who actually killed his wife. Sharif claimed innocence, saying the
04:50killer was a figure sitting right next to Dr. Yehia, yet there were clearly only the two of them in the
04:56room. Sharif looked agitated and tried to leave the room after Dr. Yehia asked him questions, such as
05:01why the figure killed his wife and what the number 401 meant. Then when Dr. Yehia showed him pictures of
05:07the strange patterns found at the crime scene, Sharif touched one pattern that resembled a horse and
05:12spoke the word Bahar, which means sea. Dr. Yehia also asked if Sharif and his wife had argued before the
05:19incident, perhaps due to one of them cheating. However, Sharif did not answer, and once again,
05:24he wrote the number 401. Soon after, members of the hospital committee arrived for a meeting.
05:30At their meeting, Dr. Yehia explained that Sharif was likely suffering from schizophrenia,
05:35a mental disorder that makes it difficult for a person to distinguish between reality
05:39and fantasy, with symptoms like hearing voices or believing things that are not true. However,
05:45one of the committee members believed Dr. Yehia was jumping to conclusions too quickly.
05:50When the committee members began asking questions to Sharif, he mostly stayed silent,
05:54and when he did answer, his responses seemed random, like claiming to work as a horse trader.
06:00He also stated there were six people in the room, even though there were only five of them.
06:04Suddenly, Sharif took a pen and wrote the number 401 on the wall. The committee members just
06:09considered that Sharif was actually fine and was deliberately faking his condition. They then asked
06:15Dr. Yehia to try and provoke Sharif because people usually reveal their true selves when angry.
06:20Additionally, they wanted to know why Sharif was fired from his previous job at a hospital.
06:25Later that day, Dr. Yehia arranged to meet Labna at a restaurant. The atmosphere was a little awkward
06:30because Labna revealed that she had been married and had come with her daughter. Labna was shocked when
06:35she learned that Dr. Yehia's wife and daughter had passed away. Soon after, when her husband called
06:40her phone, she immediately hung up. Afterward, Labna told Dr. Yehia about her brother Sharif.
06:46He had first met his wife at a wedding reception. They got along well and got married a few months
06:50later. For four years, their relationship seemed fine. However, two months before the incident,
06:55when Basma was pregnant, Labna heard from her mother that Sharif and Basma were fighting often.
07:00According to Basma at the time, Sharif was accusing her of carrying a baby from an affair.
07:06She also told Labna that at home, Sharif frequently locked himself in a room for days
07:11and spoke to a mysterious, unseen figure. He even complained constantly that his left arm hurt
07:16and should be cut off. At one point, Sharif finally kicked Basma out of the house. He then changed the
07:22locks and eventually Basma stayed at her parents' house for a week. Shortly after, Sharif called Basma to
07:27apologize and asked her to come back home. However, when she arrived, Sharif opened the door
07:32completely naked with his body covered in tattoos and then violently got intimate with Basma.
07:38Labna knew all of this because Basma had confided in her over the phone, and Labna, who knew Basma well,
07:44was certain that she had never cheated. Upon hearing the story, Dr. Yehia became even more certain
07:50that Sharif was suffering from schizophrenia. He then showed Labna the number 401 that Sharif had
07:56repeatedly scribbled. Then Labna confirmed that, as far as she could recall, it was not Sharif's bank
08:02account or credit card number. Labna was still confused about Sharif's motive for the murder.
08:07Since their marriage, her brother had desperately wanted to have children,
08:10and such a brutal act was only leading him further from his dream.
08:14After their meeting, Dr. Yehia and Labna went to Sharif's apartment, the crime scene,
08:19and entered using the key Labna had. The place was extremely dark. Messy and bloodstains were still
08:25visible on the carpet. While investigating, they found the number 401 written behind a cupboard,
08:30a red history book, Sharif's phone, and a business card belonging to a tattoo artist named Diga.
08:36Back at his home, Dr. Yehia checked Sharif's phone and found photos of Basma being tortured
08:41before Sharif killed her. He also found a picture of a traditional robe covered in writing and a photo
08:46of the Museum of Islamic Art, which immediately reminded Dr. Yehia of the museum robbery three months earlier.
08:53On the other hand, the red history book he found contained images of boxes exactly like the ones
08:58in the mysterious letter Dr. Yehia had received before, which he now realized came from Sharif.
09:04Furthermore, the wound on Basma's thigh was actually the result of peeling off a tattoo that had been there.
09:10Shortly after, Dr. Yehia fell asleep and once again had a nightmare where he saw a black dog.
09:16Strangely, when he woke up, there was dog drool on the floor. After that nightmare, Dr. Yehia went to the
09:22facility where Sharif used to work. According to a doctor there, Sharif's job performance was fine,
09:28but his attitude had grown strange a few months before the incident. The doctor even suspected
09:33Sharif was taking drugs. He also said that Sharif had once stabbed his own arm with a pen while
09:38treating a patient, which ultimately led to his dismissal for being considered dangerous.
09:43The doctor suggested that it might be possible that Sharif was suffering from schizophrenia.
09:48He also pointed out that the number 401 was written on the back of Sharif's old office door,
09:53along with other papers full of similar numbers. After that, the doctor gave Dr. Yehia a copy of
09:58Sharif's thesis, which explained the relation between body gestures and schizophrenia.
10:03It turned out that Sharif's thesis was also about body gestures, much like Dr. Yehia's.
10:08Back at the Alabashia Hospital, Dr. Yehia told Dr. Sameh that he wanted to perform a brain scan on
10:15Sharif, as he suspected that Sharif might be suffering from temporal lobe epilepsy,
10:20which can cause seizures and affect a person's emotions, memory, mood, or consciousness.
10:25At that moment, Dr. Sameh suddenly informed him that he had found a photo on Facebook of Dr.
10:30Yehia with his friends, and Sharif was among them. However, Dr. Yehia claimed he did not know Sharif
10:36very well. Soon after, a commotion broke out in the ward when Sharif violently attacked another
10:41patient just because the patient asked about his tattoos. After the attack, Sharif was brought to
10:46Dr. Yehia's room. This time, his personality had completely shifted, and he declared that his name
10:52was Nail. Upon seeing the relaxed gestures of Sharif's hands, Dr. Yehia was convinced that Sharif was not
10:58lying, meaning this one persona was indeed another persona of Sharif Nail. Dr. Yehia then asked Nail who
11:05he was and if he was the one who killed Basma. But instead of answering, Nail asked if Dr. Yehia
11:11still had feelings for Lobna. He also brought up the death of Dr. Yehia's family, revealing that the
11:17car accident happened because Dr. Yehia was driving drunk. Dr. Yehia struggled to remain calm and not
11:23be provoked, and he asked again who killed Basma. Nail simply instructed him to ask Sharif, and then
11:29suddenly he passed out. That night, Dr. Yehia asked Lobna to come to the facility, and upon meeting,
11:34he showed her the photos he had found on Sharif's phone, suggesting they could be strong evidence in
11:39the murder case. After hearing that, Lobna proposed that there might be two personalities inside her
11:45brother, namely, one who loved Basma and another who hated her. Dr. Yehia also wondered how Sharif
11:52knew his home address, which had not changed since college, since Sheriff had sent him the letter with
11:58the box pattern drawing. Afterward, Dr. Yehia asked Lobna to talk to Sharif over the phone. As soon as
12:03Sharif heard his sister's voice, he immediately looked sad, especially when Lobna told him that
12:09their mother and nephew missed him. After the call ended, Dr. Sami arrived, and suddenly Sharif urinated
12:15on him. After Sharif was taken away, Dr. Sami suggested that Sharif was merely faking his mental
12:21illness to cover up his crime of murdering Basma. He also intimidated Dr. Yehia, accusing him of being
12:27incompetent in handling Sheriff's case and of carelessly giving back Sheriff's phone. It turned out that
12:32Dr. Yehia realized why Dr. Sami was so hostile toward him. Shockingly, Dr. Sami had once had a crush on
12:39Dr. Yehia's late wife. He even had the nerve to say that Dr. Yehia's wife chose a drunkard over a brilliant
12:46person like himself. Upon hearing that comment, Dr. Yehia immediately punched Dr. Sami in the head and walked away.
12:53After the fight with Dr. Sami, Dr. Yehia confided in Lobna. He told her that five years ago, his family
13:00was killed in a car accident on his daughter's birthday. Because he was arguing with his late
13:04wife at the time, he drove while drunk and speeding. He then revealed that he still harbored
13:08feelings for her, although their marriage plans back then had been stopped when Sharif refused to
13:14give his sister his blessing. Lobna suddenly confessed that she felt the same, even admitting she had
13:19attempted suicide out of despair that she could not marry Dr. Yehia. The next day, Dr. Yehia got a call
13:25on Sheriff's phone, and when he answered it, he was completely shocked because it was nail speaking.
13:30Without wasting any time, Dr. Yehia rushed to the hospital and found Sheriff taking a shower.
13:36The guards, however, insisted that no one had given Sharif a phone. At that moment, Sheriff suddenly
13:41told Dr. Yehia that Lobna definitely still loved him, especially since her husband did not seem to
13:47understand her feelings as a woman. Then suddenly, blood gushed out of Sheriff's body,
13:51because it turned out that he had injured his body. He was brought to the infirmary for further
13:55treatment, but then during his procedure, he suddenly woke up and mentioned a robe covered
14:00in writing, just like the one, in the photo on his phone, before passing out again. Armed with that
14:06information, Dr. Yehia went to the address of Diga, the tattoo artist whom he found through his
14:11investigation. Upon meeting, Diga informed Dr. Yehia that Sheriff had come there to have a tattoo
14:16removed from his body. However, during the procedure, Sheriff suddenly laughed maniacally
14:21and broke her arm. She then said that since she had never seen that kind of tattoo before,
14:26she was sure Sheriff had gotten it outside of Egypt. Dr. Yehia then showed her the pattern on
14:31Basma's thigh, to which she said it was not a tattoo, but henna. When Dr. Yehia returned home,
14:37Maya was already there. She offered him an expensive drink, along with a powerful drug called the
14:42Blue Elephant, a kind of psychedelic which causes extremely severe hallucinations.
14:47After swallowing the drug, Dr. Yehia immediately felt the effects. He was drinking and laughing with
14:53Maya while having a vivid hallucination of Lobna dancing before entering a door. Behind that door,
14:58he saw Sheriff choking Basma. After seeing that, he suddenly woke up, finding himself collapsed in
15:04front of the sofa. Soon after, while he was enjoying a coffee and a smoke, Basma showed from behind
15:09him, and he once again woke up from a sleep, as it turned out that that moment was still part of a
15:15dream. He then found Maya crying, with a wound on her face. She was extremely angry at him and stormed
15:21out of the house. Dr. Yehia was unsure what actually happened, but it seemed that he had hurt her while
15:26under the influence of the Blue Elephant. That night, Dr. Yehia was utterly shocked and even fainted
15:31when he received the news that Maya had been killed after being hit by a car. Soon after,
15:36Nail called him and ordered him to check the photos in his phone's gallery. There, Dr. Yehia found a photo
15:41of himself torturing Maya. Upon seeing that, he rushed to the facility to confront Sheriff, who was still
15:48under the control of Nail. However, he could not find a phone on him. Strangely, when he called the number
15:54Nail had used using Sheriff's phone, it connected to his own. He was utterly shocked. Because Nail refused to
16:00explain Basma's murder, the furious Dr. Yehia used a defibrillator to shock Nail, hoping to bring
16:07Sheriff's consciousness back. Then, before passing out, Sheriff, who briefly reappeared, managed to
16:13mention a robe. Armed with that information, Dr. Yehia rushed back to Sheriff's apartment, and upon
16:19further investigation, he found the robe mentioned by Sheriff, which was hidden behind a flush button in
16:25the toilet. The robe was very large and had the number 401 printed on it. That evening, Dr. Yehia met
16:31Lobna at a restaurant. Lobna expressed her worry that her brother would be executed when he was proven
16:36to be faking his mental condition. She also shared that her husband had changed since Sheriff's case
16:41began, possibly because he was ashamed that his wife was the sister of a murderer. She added that she
16:46had been unhappy in her marriage since the beginning and wanted a divorce. Long story short, after finishing
16:52his injury treatment, Sheriff was returned to Garabate but was placed in solitary confinement to
16:58prevent him from harming other patients. Secretly, Dr. Yehia had slipped a voice recorder into the cell.
17:04On the other hand, still intrigued by the blue elephant drug and suspecting it was linked to
17:08Sheriff appearing in his dreams, Dr. Yehia decided to take it again. Suddenly, Dr. Yehia began hallucinating
17:15that he was inside a strange building with a blue horse standing outside. A man who suddenly showed up in
17:21front of him said that the place was called Al-Mamun, or the World of Hallucination in English.
17:26In there, Dr. Yehia continued to follow a voice calling out to him, constantly moving through
17:31different scenes and witnessing many strange events. In one moment, an insect appeared from his thumb,
17:37and when he finally woke up, the tip of his thumb was strangely injured.
17:41The next day, Dr. Yehia returned to Sheriff's cell to retrieve the recording. When Sheriff woke up,
17:46it turned out that Nail had taken over his body. Nail explained that the blue horse was Barr.
17:51He also admitted that he was the one who stole the robe from the Museum of Islamic Art. However,
17:56Nail told Dr. Yehia that he needed to burn the robe in order to find the answers about Basma's death.
18:02Suddenly, the light flashed on and off, and it seemed like Sheriff was attacking him. Fortunately,
18:07things got back to normal soon after. Back at his house, Dr. Yehia played the recording from the
18:12microphone he had hidden in Sheriff's cell. From that recording, he found out that Dr.
18:16Sami had come to the cell to speak with Sheriff. At that time, Sheriff, who was under the control of
18:21Nail, admitted that he killed Basma because she was cheating. However, he also claimed that he was
18:26only pretending to be mentally ill with Dr. Yehia's instruction so Sheriff would be deemed mentally
18:32disturbed and escape the death penalty. Nail claimed that by keeping Sheriff in the hospital,
18:37Dr. Yehia could more easily get close to Lobna. Nail then falsely accused Dr.
18:41Yehia of suffering from schizophrenia since his family's death and claimed that Dr. Yehia had
18:47deliberately chosen to work in Garbate and handle Sheriff's case specifically to get back together
18:52with Lobna. He also said that Dr. Yehia had threatened to kill Sheriff if he refused to cooperate.
18:57Dr. Sami completely believed the whole story, not knowing that Sheriff had two personalities.
19:03The next day, Dr. Yehia went to the hospital where Dr. Safaya and a man from committee member of the
19:08facility immediately brought up Dr. Sami's report regarding all of Sheriff's statements.
19:14Dr. Yehia explained that it was all lies. He insisted Sheriff clearly suffered from schizophrenia
19:20and claimed he was not particularly close to Lobna. However, Dr. Safaya revealed that the
19:25facility guard had informed her that Lobna had once visited the facility to see Dr. Yehia.
19:30Dr. Safaya concluded that Dr. Yehia might be suffering from a mental breakdown following his family's
19:36death five years ago. Ultimately, Dr. Safaya transferred Dr. Yehia out of Garbate to the
19:43senility department where the workload was much lighter. Now everyone believed the words of Sheriff
19:48while Dr. Yehia was left confused about what to do next. Lobna, worried because she could not
19:54contact Dr. Yehia, came to his house and informed him that she had finally divorced her husband.
20:00When she learned Dr. Yehia was being accused of having schizophrenia,
20:04she completely refused to believe it as he appeared perfectly normal and showed no symptoms
20:09whatsoever. However, Dr. Yehia himself was starting to have trouble distinguishing
20:14between reality and hallucination. This was because when he called Nail's number from Sheriff's phone,
20:19it surprisingly connected to his own phone, meaning that he might have only been talking to himself
20:24all this time. Upon hearing that, Lobna chose to ignore that possibility, convinced that Dr.
20:30Yehia was sane. He reminded him that she loved him deeply and had been waiting for years to be with
20:36him again. The next day, Dr. Yehia was urgently summoned to Garbate because Sheriff was threatening
20:42to break Dr. Sama's neck if Dr. Yehia did not meet him. Therefore, Dr. Safa asked Dr. Yehia for help
20:49in controlling Sharif. Sheriff, who was under Nail's influence, ordered Dr. Yehia to close the window and
20:55in the door so no one could see them. At that moment, Nail had found the hidden microphone and
21:00immediately destroyed it. He then claimed that it was Sheriff's own personality that desired the
21:06death of Basma and that Nail merely executed Sheriff's deepest wishes. After this revelation,
21:12Nail violently kicked Dr. Yehia and immediately broke Dr. Sama's neck, killing him instantly.
21:19After Dr. Sama's death, Dr. Yehia was desperate to determine his own sanity.
21:24He decided he would take the blue elephant again while wearing the robe and locking himself in his
21:28room. He set up a video camera to record his actions and gave the room key to Labna and asking
21:34her not to open the door until the next day. The plan was started. After swallowing the drug,
21:39Dr. Yehia saw the blue elephant from an LED lamp, as well as the vision of his late wife and daughter.
21:44His surroundings immediately transformed into ancient Egypt, where a man was being hanged in the middle
21:49of a market. He also saw Basma preparing to have intercourse with Sharif, but Sharif treated her
21:55harshly. Suddenly, a black cloud appeared, and a man said that the henna on Basma's thigh would
22:00invite a demon when they were having sex. The man also revealed that the name Nail was the term used
22:06for the devil before God cast him out of heaven. The man then recited a prayer and instructed Sheriff to
22:11frequently induce vomiting and eat salt to keep the devil away. Meanwhile, the robe could serve as an
22:17anti-demon amulet because it had the names of God in its pattern. Along the series of numbers printed
22:23on it served as some kind of protection. A short time later, Sheriff killed Basma and admitted that
22:29Nail would not leave him until all of his loved ones were dead. When Dr. Yehia woke up the very next day,
22:35Lobna was by his side. The video recording showed that Dr. Yehia had simply stood motionless in front
22:41of a mirror from night until morning. Dr. Yehia then checked the ripped sections in the red history book.
22:46It turned out that the events he had just witnessed in his hallucination had actually happened in
22:52Egypt's ancient past, including the man being hanged and another man named Al-Mamun who killed
22:57his own wife. A few days later, Al-Mamun cut off his own arm out of deep regret and was eventually
23:03admitted to a psychiatric hospital. All of these events closely mirrored Sheriff's experience.
23:09With this revelation, it was now clear that Dr. Yehia did not have schizophrenia. The blue elephant
23:14drug, it turned out, acted as a portal to see the past, the spiritual world, and even demons.
23:20He finally had a clue to solving Basma's murder case. Armed with his breakthrough, Dr. Yehia went
23:25to Diga's place and forced her to tell the truth. Diga, the tattoo artist, finally confessed that she
23:31was the one who drew the henna on Basma's left thigh. It was, in fact, a demonic talisman. It was
23:36finally revealed that the whole incident began because Sheriff was starting to grow tired of his wife.
23:41So Basma asked Diga to draw the satanic charm on her thigh so Sheriff would stay in love with her
23:47and remain passionate whenever he saw her. Diga explained the grim consequence to her,
23:51saying that Sheriff would want to have intercourse with her again, but he would be controlled by a
23:56demon named Nail. This explained why Sheriff accused Basma of cheating and denied the baby was his when
24:02she became pregnant because he never remembered having intercourse with her. Diga explained that to
24:07kill Nail, according to the ritual, the talisman had to be eaten by a dog, and the dog then had to be
24:13killed. However, the problem became complicated because Diga only poisoned the dog so it would
24:18die on its own, meaning it was not killed directly, as the ritual demanded, leading the effect of the
24:24demonic talisman to continue, and Nail still possessed Sheriff, which eventually led to Basma's murder.
24:30Although Diga believed the charm's effect could no longer be stopped, Dr. Yehia still refused to give up.
24:36He planned to use his knowledge of numerology, the understanding of numbers, to analyze the true
24:41meaning of the number 401 on the robe and find a way to expel Nail from Sheriff's body. It turned
24:47out that the numerical sequence 401 could indeed fight against a high-level demon like Nail.
24:53This was the reason Sheriff kept scribbling the number 401, as it was a desperate plea for Dr.
24:58Yehia to help him. Meanwhile, Nail was trying to trick Sheriff into burning the robe so that
25:02nothing could stop him anymore. After fully understanding the numerical combination needed
25:07to fight Nail, Dr. Yehia went to the hospital and entered Sheriff's cell. Sheriff was seen
25:12wearing a straitjacket because he had killed Dr. Sameh, and he looked terrified since Nail had not
25:18yet taken complete control. As Dr. Yehia began writing the mystical number sequence based on the
25:23401 combination on the wall, Nail immediately possessed Sharif and taunted Dr. Yehia. Even when Dr.
25:29Yahia showed him the robe, Nail showed no fear, so Dr. Yehia kept writing until the wall was covered
25:36with the sequence. Nail attempted to terrorize Dr. Yehia in his mind until he managed to free his
25:41hands and attack him. Feeling threatened, Nail began reciting a powerful incantation targeted
25:46directly at Dr. Yehia. Fortunately, a miracle happened, and Nail was successfully banished.
25:52The tattoos on Sheriff's body disappeared, and his consciousness finally returned. Sheriff then
25:57explained that he was the one who sent the letter with the box patterns at the beginning of the film,
26:01desperately asking for Dr. Yehia's help. He also admitted that he stole the robe from the Museum of
26:06Islamic Art to protect himself from the demon nail. After everything that had happened, Dr. Yehia
26:12wrote his final report on Basma's death, stating that Sheriff was not responsible for the murder
26:18because he was mentally disturbed. This was supported by abundant evidence, including the statements from
26:23the hospital where Sheriff used to work, confirming his behavior had become strange before he was
26:29fired. In the end, Sheriff was admitted to another hospital for long-term treatment until he fully
26:34recovered. On the other hand, Dr. Yehia had successfully moved on from his grief and trauma and married
26:40Labna. In the film's closing scene, as Dr. Yehia was about to throw away the final blue elephant pill,
26:46his curiosity about its current side effects led him to decide to take it one last time.
