As we do every week,we accompany viewers on their trips through Germany. This time we explore Brandenburg's Spreewald region with Sarah McMath and Lutz Kruger from South Africa.
Sarah McMath and Lutz Kruger have lived in Cape Town for 23 years. She's American,he's originally from Germany. Both love riding motorcycles and have decided to cross Germany on two wheels from north to south.
In the Spreewald segment they visited Lübben, the region's biggest city, the thousand-year-old village of Schlepzig and its beautiful church, and in the open-air museum in Lehde they gained some insights into the Slavic Sorb minority in the 19th century.
