00:00The Department of Justice laid out its cards on the table by presenting the 110 million pesos

00:05returned by former DPWH official Henry Alcantara, allegedly from kickbacks in flood control projects.

00:13DOJ said Alcantara is expected to cuff up an additional 200 million pesos next week

00:18as part of his restitution while applying to become a state witness,

00:23proof that he is trying not to wash his hands of past wrongdoing.

00:26Officials noted they are satisfied with the 300 million pesos total based on his reported percentage cuts

00:34but warned that if he hides anything, he could be kicked out of witness protection.

00:39The return funds will be counted by Land Bank and sent straight to the Bureau of Treasury

00:44ensuring that the money goes back where it belongs.
