Das Panzerspiel World of Tanks startet jedes Jahr zu Weihnachten die sogenannten Holiday Operations. Während des Ingame-Events im Dezember gibt's spezielle Missionen, Belohnungen und eine festlich geschmückte Garage. Und meistens wird die Aktion auch mit irgendeinem Promi als Werbebotschafter verbunden.      Für die diesjährigen Holiday Ops hat Wargaming einen echten Superstar an Land gezogen: den Hollywood-Schauspieler Benedict Cumberbatch , der als offizieller Botschafter für das Event an den Feierlichkeiten teilnimmt. Laut Wargaming wird euch der aus Sherlock und Doctor Strange bekannte Schauspieler in der Fahrzeuggarage begrüßen und euch besondere Missionen austeilen. Eine Belohnung: Cumberbatchs Stimme für euren Panzerkommandanten.      Los geht das Event am 5. Dezember 2025 ; es dauert bis zum 12. Januar 2026.      Mit der Ankündigung der Holiday Ops setzt das World of Tanks-Team seine jährliche Weihnachtstradition fort und präsentiert einen brandneuen Original-Kurzfilm. Die diesjährige Geschichte handelt von Sebastian, einem schüchternen Büroangestellten, der nicht den Mut aufbringen kann, mit seiner Angebeteten Sarah zu sprechen. Mit der Hilfe von Therapeut Benedict Cumberbatch kann er seine Ängste jedoch überwinden und Sarah schließlich einen Panzer zu Weihnachten schenken.
