00:30Hello and welcome to your midweek edition of It Takes Two, live on BBC Two and iPlayer.
00:36The Strictly Book of 2025 is well into its latter chapters and this is where the plot gets really juicy.
00:44This weekend, our six celebs will be dancing for a place in the quarterfinals.
00:50Who will survive? Well, that bit is still unwritten.
00:55Before all that though, here's a novel idea.
00:58It's time to tell you what the story is tonight and it's an absolute page turner.
01:03They rope themselves into the Blackpool history books with the ballroom's first ever tens for a salsa.
01:10George and Alexis are here for a debrief shortly.
01:12It's five down, one to go as far as our Christmas celebs reveal go and we've got the final cracker to pull.
01:19Find out who it is a little later on.
01:22And it's finally here. The Pro Challenge starts tonight.
01:26Very soon we'll be revealing who the first contender is as this lot compete for a brand new world record.
01:33But first, speaking of contenders, on Saturday night, Belvinda achieved her dream of performing an Argentine tango in the Tower Ballroom.
01:42And what a performance it was.
01:44Monty called her the comeback queen.
01:46Luckily for us, she's come back from Blackpool to have a chat.
01:49Here's a reminder.
01:50I would have liked to have seen smoother weight changes and transitions, but I think this style actually suits you really, really well.
02:13You were so defined. I absolutely loved that. You keep fighting, girl.
02:23Give it up for Belvinda and Julian.
02:27Oh, Bel. You dreamed of getting to dance the Argentine tango in the Blackpool Tower. You've done it now. How much did it live up to your expectations?
02:35I mean, and some. Expectations and some.
02:38I didn't think we'd get to Blackpool first thing, but to dance the Argentine tango in such a special, beautiful, kind of important place like the ballroom, Tower Ballroom, just felt really profound.
02:54Because it all sort of happened at the right time for us, you know.
02:58And it's not lost on me how hard we worked to get there for dance-offs and all that kind of stuff.
03:04All that, you know, but yeah, so it meant even more to be there at that time and perform that particular dance.
03:11Yes, that's what we loved.
03:13Honestly, you were so good.
03:14And Jules, everyone has spoken about the atmosphere at the Blackpool Tower on the night.
03:18What was it like for you as a pro being there?
03:21Honestly, it's kind of hard to describe.
03:24I think the fact that there was no dance-off as well, it just meant that I felt like we were putting on a show.
03:31And I've never felt, oh, I've never been in a room quite like that where, first of all, the audience was on fire.
03:38They were electric.
03:39Whoever, you know, guys who came to watch, thank you.
03:42It was absolutely cracker.
03:44And then because we had so much energy from the audience and then everyone knew that they were safe, there was just this kind of like, not, no one was really relaxed because everyone still wants to like, you know, give their best.
03:55But there was just this unbelievable positivity around the room.
03:58Yes.
03:59And everyone was just so joyful and it just felt like.
04:01And everybody was cheering each other on.
04:03Yeah.
04:03Yeah.
04:04Genuinely, I was there and everyone was screaming for everyone.
04:05It felt like a celebration of dance.
04:07It felt like a celebration of each other.
04:09Yes.
04:09Which was just, I'll be forever grateful that we got to share that as a group as well.
04:12Speaking of the dance, we need to talk about that dance because the Argentine Tangle, honestly, it was just so stunning.
04:17You were so in the zone as well, particularly in this part.
04:21Have a look.
04:24One, two, three, four, five.
04:29I mean, how focused were you to make this dance be as special as it was?
04:34Well, because it was something that I really wanted to do, I had to prove to myself that I could do it.
04:38Yes.
04:39And so, you know, the kind of determination to get it right and make sure that we sort of projected that out towards the audience as well and that they enjoyed it just as much as I did was really important for me.
04:50Yeah.
04:50That was a really strange section because I've been working with Jules and I feel very protected and safe with Jules and we sort of have an understanding of, you know, the language that we speak.
05:04Yeah.
05:05Dancing with new people felt very scary.
05:08So was that tricky for you?
05:09Because you are so used to being with Jules.
05:09It was weird for me as well.
05:11When they were like, she's going to dance with the girls, I was like, so I'm not involved?
05:15And I was watching from afar and I'm like, that's my partner.
05:20And I felt kind of protective.
05:22I was like, let me help.
05:23We're surely proud because she did so well.
05:27So immensely proud because I wanted, in that section, I said to Belle, I'm like, this is your moment.
05:31Like, show everyone that you're not scared to stand next to two professional dancers.
05:36You own it and you take that space and I think she absolutely did that.
05:40It was also great for the storytelling element of, you know, the gender fluid thing.
05:43Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
05:44I had lots of messages from EastEnders fans because obviously, you know, Sookie plays a lesbian.
05:49They were just like, this is amazing representation.
05:51This is brilliant.
05:52So they really enjoyed it.
05:53See, so we made everybody happy.
05:55We made everybody happy.
05:56What are we all about?
05:57Well, it led to your second highest scoring dance of the series.
05:59So congratulations.
06:01And Jules, you seemed particularly delighted with the scores because this is your reaction.
06:06Where you got the eight.
06:08What did it mean to you to finally get your first eight from Craig and the nine?
06:12That was the one who came through me.
06:14I think I gave production a little bit of a bit of a scare because I said, shut the front door.
06:19And I think they were freaking out that I was going to say something else.
06:22But I didn't.
06:23You didn't.
06:23So we're good.
06:24We're good.
06:24You shut the door on that rumor.
06:27Exactly, exactly.
06:27Let's move on to this week.
06:29Congratulations.
06:29You are through.
06:30No eliminations.
06:30We're all happy.
06:31Because this week you're doing a drive.
06:33Yes.
06:34And you are doing a drive to this.
06:36Right back where we started from.
06:41Maxine's Nightingale.
06:43But I will be honest.
06:44When this was revealed in the results show, you were a little bit nervous about the pace of the dance.
06:49How has it been in training then this week?
06:51Yeah, I'm still nervous.
06:52You're still nervous?
06:53Nothing's changed.
06:54It's still very fast.
06:55This is you today.
06:57It's looking good.
06:58Look at the flakes.
06:58Yes.
06:59Oh, wow.
07:00Yeah.
07:00I mean.
07:00Look at you go.
07:01How are you feeling about it?
07:02One run, yeah.
07:03And then the next time we do.
07:05I mean, it sort of is there and then it isn't there, you know.
07:10So, yeah.
07:12I think my issue is that once I get the routine, then everything sort of comes.
07:16But because I don't, I'm not quite confident on what happens next, I'm still faltering quite a bit.
07:20Okay.
07:21But, yeah.
07:22It's okay.
07:22It's only Wednesday.
07:23You've still got time.
07:24Yeah.
07:24Do not panic.
07:26Jules, Shirley said here on Monday night that she thought it would be great to get a mix of swing and jive mixed in together in the choreography.
07:33Have you taken her advice?
07:34Yeah, we've definitely done that.
07:35Oh, good.
07:36I think in general, in terms of jive, I like a swingy jive much more.
07:41And I think as well, we always say, you know, we're storytellers first and then we're dancers.
07:46And so that doesn't change this week.
07:49And I think we really want to push the, you know, the idea that we're trying to, you know, focus on the narrative.
07:54And it's a really fun story that we're trying to tell this week.
07:57And so the choreography lends itself to that with a bit more swing elements.
08:00As well, Bao, you know, has done Charleston in the past and she nailed the Charleston.
08:04Yes, she did.
08:05So I really wanted to tap into something that was familiar as well, as well as all the stuff that isn't familiar.
08:09I don't think he's really thought about this, Bao.
08:11Absolutely.
08:11He's really thought about it.
08:12He's working to my strengths.
08:13He's working to your strengths.
08:14We're ten weeks in.
08:16I thought I'd really start.
08:16We do need to talk, though, about the instant dance, which I know is going to happen this weekend.
08:21Have you discussed which dance you would like to get, ideally?
08:25I think Bao would like the foxtrot.
08:27I'd like the foxtrot.
08:28Okay.
08:29But Jules would quite like the samba.
08:32I would love the samba.
08:33But I'm a little bit nervous about the samba.
08:35Because I think Bao wants the foxtrot because she wants to do well.
08:38I want the samba because I would just, I think it would just be hilarious.
08:42You just want to have fun and fly through the floor.
08:44I'm like, worst case, we're just shimmy everywhere.
08:46Well, the thing is, you've got to prepare for both.
08:48We'll see.
08:50But we can't wait to see you both on Saturday.
08:51Good luck.
08:52Let's hear it for Balvinda and Julian.
08:53Thank you.
08:56Okay.
08:57This week, our couples have a real balancing act on their hands in training.
09:01How much time do you commit to your main dance?
09:04How much to your instant dance?
09:05It's a minefield.
09:06Let's see how Alex, Louis, and Amber are dealing with the extra pressure.
09:10This week, we are doing the rumba.
09:15What we're working on is a lot of transferring of weight.
09:18All the way down to the floor.
09:21Balance is something that we're constantly seeking.
09:24Now, your torso is rotated from the armpits.
09:28We have so many body parts that help us to stay in balance.
09:32We just need to use them.
09:34Your ribcage on top.
09:35Good.
09:36Start.
09:36I mean, it's easier said than done.
09:39It's getting worse.
09:40There's a lot to think about.
09:41Yes.
09:41You got that little delayed reaction there.
09:43That was good.
09:44That was good.
09:44One, and two.
09:45I'm really looking forward to doing the cha-cha-cha.
09:48Apparently, I've got quite flexible hips.
09:50They're moving.
09:52Down, up, down, up.
09:55The body positioning in a cha-cha-cha, I always say you lead with your nose.
09:59That just puts your posture in the right place.
10:02Cha-cha-cha.
10:05Nice.
10:05I feel like I'm being a bit of a Christmas turkey.
10:09I love that.
10:10Exactly.
10:12It is there.
10:13Body forward, bum back.
10:15Boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, boop, cha-cha-cha.
10:19Cha-cha-cha.
10:21The jive is a lot more complex than I anticipated.
10:27Yum.
10:28Yes, it's high energy.
10:30Wah-wah-loop.
10:31¡Gracias!
11:01It's time to come tonight, George and Alexis are here to reflect on Blackpool, plus it's the return of the Pro Challenge.
11:07But first...
11:09It's time to complete this year's Strictly Christmas special lineup.
11:14Here's a quick reminder of our festive feast so far.
11:17Goggle Boxing Day comes a day early, it's Scarlett Moffat.
11:22We could never ever leave her off our Christmas card list, it's Melanie Black.
11:27Fury down the chimney tonight, it's Jodie Ounceley.
11:31Santa, Baba, slip a sable under the tree, it's Baba Tunda, Alishi.
11:36And we love a Christmas Baileys, it's Nicholas Baileys.
11:41But who is the sixth and final celebrity? Let's find out.
11:46It's...
11:49Brian McClady!
11:57How are you doing?
11:59I love that you were holding your own face, that was amazing.
12:01I know, yeah.
12:02What a line-up, Brian.
12:03It's going to be fun, huh?
12:04What a line-up.
12:05How exciting.
12:06What was your reaction like when you found out you were going to take part?
12:08I was really excited because, you know, I've been...
12:10My little daughter, Ruby, is absolutely obsessed with Strictly this year.
12:13Is she?
12:14So as soon as she comes home from school, it's back on, we watch Saturdays and Sundays every single day.
12:19So we've really got into it.
12:20And then when I got the phone call to do the Christmas special, I was like, you've got to be kidding, what about timing for that?
12:25So our household is so excited right now, they're even watching at home now.
12:28Hello.
12:29Hello, familia.
12:30Hi, Ruby.
12:31Now, you have been a talent show judge on Australian Idol and Australia's Got Talent.
12:36But which judge are you hoping to impress over here?
12:40Oh, God.
12:41All of them, I would think.
12:42Yeah, that would be good.
12:43Probably Anton, I guess.
12:46Nice.
12:47Because he's a golfer, so I think, you know, I could let him win in golf next time if he gives me a good score.
12:52And he's walked the shoes, he was a pro on the show for many, many years.
12:55Yeah, he's brilliant, by the way, I absolutely love him.
12:57He's doing great.
12:58Craig, obviously, you know, he's very hard to impress, isn't he?
13:00So I'm not expecting much from him to like.
13:02He might be having a bit of mince pie and be in a good mood.
13:05Maybe, yeah.
13:06He might be festive.
13:07Exactly.
13:08And what made you and the rest of the celebs take part?
13:10What did you make of the rest of the celebs?
13:11Sorry, taking part.
13:12What did I make of the rest of the celebs?
13:13Yeah, yeah, yeah.
13:14I was very excited.
13:15Great to see Mel.
13:16I actually bumped into Mel the other day when we were rehearsing.
13:18So I haven't seen Mel since, like, way back in the kind of 90s pop days.
13:22So it was lovely to see her.
13:24Well, look at that line-up.
13:25I know Scarlett's supposed to be an amazing dancer.
13:26I've heard that, that she's supposed to be incredible.
13:28Oh, really?
13:29Is that a secret?
13:30I don't know.
13:31You tell me.
13:32You tell me.
13:33She's supposed to be an incredible dancer.
13:34Is she?
13:35Well, we'll all find out on Christmas Day, won't we?
13:37But I can exclusively reveal...
13:39Oh, yeah?
13:40Which Strictly Pro you're going to be dancing with.
13:43Mm-hmm.
13:44And it's...
13:45Michelle!
13:47Look at her.
13:48She's amazing.
13:49What do you make of the pairing?
13:50How do you feel?
13:51Well, I've already met her, so I knew already.
13:53Yeah, yeah, yeah.
13:54But has...
13:55We've already been rehearsing for two days.
13:56Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
13:57She is brilliant.
13:58When I found out I was with Michelle, I knew...
14:01Now, I can't tell you what dance I'm doing.
14:03Nope, nope.
14:04We're saving that.
14:05I'm a bit older.
14:06I'm not as fit as I used to be.
14:07And when I saw it with Michelle, I know what her specialties are.
14:09Right.
14:10So I knew I was going to have some hard work ahead of me.
14:12Ooh.
14:13But she is an incredible teacher and she's been a great partner so far.
14:15So you're having a lovely time training together.
14:16Yeah, yeah, she's brilliant.
14:17Which is great.
14:18Well, you're going to be amazing.
14:19Thank you for joining us.
14:20Oh, thank you.
14:21We're going to watch you dancing on Christmas Day.
14:22Oh, I can't wait.
14:23Let's hear it for Brian McFadden.
14:24Well, now we know who will be fighting it out for the Strictly Christmas Glitter Ball.
14:31It's on to a competition where our pros fight it out for a world record.
14:35And when it comes to drama, it really does have all the trimmings.
14:39It's the return of the Pro Challenge.
14:42Over to you, Shirley.
14:44The Strictly Pro Challenge is back.
14:48Our professional dancers are attempting to set a world record for the most samba wisps performed in 30 seconds.
14:58This year, there's a new queen in town.
15:03And I don't miss a beat.
15:07I will be joined by official adjudicator, Will Munford.
15:13The whisk can start in either direction, but must step to the side, cross behind and replace.
15:23In order for the step to qualify, we'll be looking for a flat ball flat movement with one foot on the floor at all times.
15:33The samba bounce is not necessarily needed on this occasion.
15:38Any mistakes and the step will be disqualified.
15:42Oh! This hot sun!
15:45I lost it!
15:47Only one pro can be victorious.
15:51Welcome to the Strictly Pro Challenge 2025.
15:58Thanks to Queen Shirley for that lovely demo of the samba whisk.
16:02Right, our first contender this year is one of our longest serving Strictly Pros now in her ninth year.
16:08They currently hold the glitter ball trophy and will be looking to add a world record trophy to their trophy cabinet.
16:14We're absolutely buzzing for Diane Buswell!
16:17Oh, wow!
16:19Diane Buswell, everybody!
16:21Talk about a fighter!
16:23Oh, yeah!
16:24Oh, cool!
16:25What you doing?
16:26What you doing?
16:27What you doing?
16:28What you doing?
16:29Sorry, I feel like I've known you my whole life.
16:30We can do that live on air.
16:31Do it.
16:32When it comes to the Pro Challenge though, you've just been about everywhere on the leaderboard.
16:33I have.
16:34Except the top.
16:35I know!
16:36What's that all about?
16:37What you doing?
16:38What you doing?
16:39What you doing?
16:40What you doing?
16:41Sorry, I feel like I've known you my whole life.
16:42We can do that live on air.
16:43Do it.
16:44When it comes to the Pro Challenge though, you've just been about everywhere on the leaderboard.
16:47I have.
16:48Except the top.
16:49I know!
16:50What's that all about?
16:51What would it mean to finally win one?
16:52Well, listen, Jeanette, the fact that I'm here first has not given me much hope.
16:56So, it would be great to win it, but I'm not that hopeful.
17:00Well, listen, you are, however, the first pro to do the Strictly Pro Challenge.
17:03Yes.
17:04Pregnant.
17:05I am!
17:06Which is lovely.
17:07So, if you win, will you share the world record with your baby?
17:09Oh, of course.
17:10I mean, listen, mate, what is mine is yours.
17:13But if we lose, it's all your fault because you weighed me down, alright?
17:18Speaks the truth.
17:19Speaks the truth.
17:20Well, listen, enough small talk.
17:22Let's see how you got on this year.
17:24Oh, gosh.
17:25Alright, let's go.
17:26Come on.
17:27I'm not just dancing for me.
17:30I'm dancing for me and baby.
17:33I can feel him in there, whisking away.
17:36Probably does a better whisk than me at this point.
17:38We can do this.
17:42Oh, Miss Shirley.
17:44I'm Miss Diane.
17:45How are you doing?
17:46Hello.
17:47I'm good, thank you.
17:48Are you excited for this Samba Challenge?
17:50I'm very excited.
17:51I hope I do you proud.
17:53Now, I'm telling you, if you win this challenge...
17:55Yes.
17:56Little fella in there will have a little record going on, won't it?
17:59Already?
18:00Because there's two of you.
18:01Is he awake?
18:02Is he sleeping?
18:03He was having a little kick before, so I reckon he's going to try and help me.
18:06Please, Diane, take centre stage.
18:08Thank you.
18:10This is an official attempt.
18:12In three, two, one, go.
18:15There you go.
18:16There you go.
18:17Doing good.
18:18Oh, we've got nice rotation going on there in your body as well.
18:26Keep it moving.
18:27How's those legs feeling?
18:28Good.
18:3015 seconds.
18:31Doing good, doing good.
18:32Keep it up.
18:33Keep it up.
18:34We've got some rhythm going on here.
18:39Wow.
18:40Five.
18:41Four.
18:42Three.
18:43Two.
18:44One.
18:45Stop.
18:46Woo!
18:47Woo!
18:48I felt like I was doing a bit of a tap dance.
18:50I was trying to get ball flat.
18:52Ball flat.
18:53But it was good.
18:54I loved it.
18:55I loved it.
18:56Well, you don't sound too winded, so I think that you were carrying your weight in exactly
18:59the right place, so maybe baby did help there.
19:01I think so.
19:02Well done to you.
19:03Thank you, Shirley.
19:04Mwah.
19:05Thank you so much.
19:06Come on, we got this.
19:11Woo-hoo!
19:13I loved every second of it.
19:14We loved every second of it.
19:17Technically, I had four feet doing it.
19:19That's a record in itself.
19:21Woo-hoo!
19:25All right, Di, so watching it back, did it look like a tap dance to you?
19:29Oh, you know what?
19:30Actually, technically, I'm not too...
19:32That wasn't too shabby.
19:34However, I was going, come on, Di, pick up your pace.
19:37It looked a bit slow to me.
19:38Do you think it was slow?
19:39Mmm, it didn't look fast.
19:40It really did say that you didn't even look winded, though, so that's a good thing.
19:43I was winded, Jeanette.
19:44Oh, you were?
19:45I was struggling, let me tell you.
19:48Really, so it wasn't one of your easiest challenges in the last nine years?
19:51No, it was quite difficult.
19:53It really was.
19:54It was getting that ball flat down and...
19:56I mean, Shirley was there.
19:57You can't really go there and not do technique, you know?
20:00Kind of adds pressure.
20:01She's looking you at the eye, you're like, ah!
20:03So, yeah, it was a bit of pressure, not gonna lie.
20:05Okay, well, right.
20:06The steps have been counted.
20:08Okay.
20:09The results are in.
20:10Yep.
20:11When each of the professionals made their attempt, the footage was watched back by adjudicators in slow motion to verify every single step to make sure they were accurate.
20:22Diane.
20:23Yes.
20:24I can reveal...
20:25Oh, go on.
20:26...that in 30 seconds, you completed...
20:2839 stats!
20:29Oh!
20:3039!
20:31However...
20:32Hang on a minute.
20:33Hang on a minute.
20:34Yep.
20:35Were there any disqualifications?
20:36Ooh.
20:37I can reveal that this year, you had...
20:4237 disqualified!
20:43What?!
20:44Oh!
20:45Oh!
20:46Oh!
20:47Oh!
20:48Oh!
20:49Oh!
20:50Oh!
20:51Oh!
20:52Oh!
20:53Oh!
20:54Oh!
20:55Oh!
20:56Oh!
20:57Oh!
20:59What?
21:00How did this happen?
21:01Joy that gives you a total of two.
21:03Was I doing a different set?
21:04Uh, but it doesn't point you at the top of the leaderboard.
21:07Wait!
21:08I'm so confused.
21:09What did I do wrong?
21:10Uh, you aren't currently the only person on the leaderboard, so I apologize...
21:12But listen, take a photo of that, keep it in your heart.
21:14Uh.
21:15Oh, my gosh.
21:16How did that happen?
21:17Well, it was watched in slow motion by the...
21:20I thought it was great.
21:22Oh, that technique, it's great.
21:24Uh, but I, do you think you can hold on to that?
21:26I mean...
21:27¡Gracias por ver el video!
21:57It's time for my final couple of this evening
21:59and although he may not know how to feel
22:01about being part of Blackpool history
22:03George is now
22:04Tower Ballroom Royalty
22:07Salsa King
22:11George the First
22:13A new George with a
22:18fantastic vibe. You had to
22:21keep everybody else on time
22:23You did it immaculately. That's your best
22:25dance so far
22:26Your hips were
22:29swinging darling. Those lifts were
22:31absolutely incredible
22:33You are the true star
22:35George this is how you
22:39slap down Blackpool
22:40Give it up for George and Alexis
22:46Right before we get into it you've got your first tens of the series and the first ever Blackpool Salsa Tens
22:55Do you like the Salsa fan?
22:59Have you come down from the high of Saturday night yet George?
23:03I don't know I feel like this has reignited it
23:05Yeah!
23:06Stop it guys
23:07Tell me again
23:08But Alexis George has been criticized in the recent weeks for not really fully letting go when he's dancing
23:14How much of a turning point do you think this dance was for him?
23:17I feel like it was definitely his biggest turning point and it was it wasn't just the show itself it was all throughout the rehearsal days as well I really sensed the shift I feel like he just let go of the pressure putting on himself and just really enjoyed every day and had fun with it
23:33We also made sure that he did a bunch of sound effects during the dance because we find that yeah he does better when he makes sound right
23:40I really I did I realized when they released the hidden mic thing mm-hmm I didn't shut up no I really just I would I would say that as a note to him
23:50He'd be silent and I'm like George make some sound say something
23:53Hey it helps
23:53It really did
23:54It does help
23:55Also George there was a move that uh we've seen before of course come up that came up in the salsa
24:00You did this move way back in the beginning right at the start you brought it back
24:04Oh in the exact same jacket and trousers as well
24:06That's embarrassing
24:07So tell me about the move where'd it come from why'd you bring it back nostalgia would it
24:10Um I don't know my my great-granddad used to do it it's gone through generations
24:15Uh no I I really don't know why I did that they said in the VT well they said in the opening VT have you got any special moves
24:22I was like I I I really realized I don't dance right so I was like oh sure I'll just pop a hip I guess
24:28I'm not when I watched that little move it made me smile so much because I was like he's loving himself
24:34You did close the show very exciting always to close the show and it was the first time you close the show
24:38Also you had the luxury of knowing that there wasn't going to be any eliminations going on as well
24:43Alexis do you think that had an impact on your performance
24:46To a degree yes, I feel like we definitely were still nervous more than ever going into the dance that doesn't change
24:52I think what changed the most about knowing that there wasn't an elimination was that we didn't end the show on a sad note
24:59Right, you know because I feel like we ended on a happy note and there's just light in the room
25:04But yeah, we both were still very nervous going into I know that didn't change closing the show
25:10Especially when it was such a good show
25:11Everybody was like on their a-game it was and then they're like go on then try and end that
25:18Sure, okay, I'll give it a go
25:19But you did it and you did it well, George just saying
25:22But there was also a group number that you haven't been doing group number since week one was the last time
25:26You did a group number Kaz Carney posted this on socials of the two of you having a little practice with luba
25:31Helping you out as well
25:41But was it nice being a part of the team again with everyone yeah, no, it's I mean we realized this when we were sort of training
25:48That actually had training behind
25:51We did practice yeah
25:53Yeah, when we were doing this sort of like rehearsal for that
25:56We realized we haven't actually had a chance where we can all just sit down and just chat
25:59We've all we all sort of cross paths, but we've all got our own like routines where we're cross
26:03So it was the first time I had like 40 50 minutes to just sit down and just chat
26:07And you're like why not do a bit of steps while we do that as well lovely
26:10Yeah, well, it's gonna be another busy week again because you're going to be dancing the quick step to this
26:18I get a kick out of you Frank Sinatra George, it's a classic ballroom dance classic ballroom song
26:25How much of a kick are you getting out of the dance in the week? I'm really enjoying it
26:29I've it's weird because it's a completely different sort of vibe from last week and this is yesterday
26:34This is looking really look at frame stop it. Are you enjoying it?
26:38I am yeah, despite the fact that there's less of a smile on that face
26:45Jumping for joy. Yeah, no, I am having a really good time. I think I'm trying to keep the same vibe of last week of
26:52Hey, just have a and we we we were going to end on whatever run we did earlier
26:59Yeah, and then Julian came in and I was hey Jules check this out and then was just being an idiot and it was
27:07I think I just need to be an idiot
27:09Okay, I mean, I've never heard that
27:11I've never taken that approach with someone before but it works
27:16Speaking of idiot, we've got this thing coming up called the instant dance
27:19Yes, and you said you don't want to take yourself seriously that you won't have a bit of fun and just enjoy it
27:23Right, yeah, not stress yourself out like you just said for the quick step as well
27:27Have you had to think though about the outfits that you want to wear?
27:29I my thought process is that's the one part well, don't worry
27:34We've got you some support because we know that some of these will definitely be lying around somewhere backstage and they might be a possibility
27:39First one up is an outfit one by radio 2 presenter scott mills here. We go a crab
27:46Oh, okay, that works
27:48We also need to raise this one from richie anderson richie anderson yeah tomorrow
27:54Yeah, we've also got maybe this one classic from max max george. Yeah, homer simpson. Oh
28:01Any favorite diane that's disgusting what do you reckon my head looks
28:06I think we need all of them on the rack. Let's put all of them together. Yes. Yes
28:11I want that wig you want the wig. How are you feeling about the instant dance though?
28:15Uh, we tried a little today. I feel worse
28:20But listen, don't worry because just to clarify you won't actually be wearing any of those outfits on saturday
28:25But we just wanted you to have a look let loose and enjoy yourselves a bit good luck
28:31I'm excited to see what you guys come up with on saturday night. Let's hear for george and alexis
28:38That's it for tonight what a pack show thanks to all my guests
28:41I'm back tomorrow when vicky gill is in the house to look ahead to this saturday's outfit
28:45And we'll be taking a final trip to the ballroom to see how the rest of our couples are getting on until then have a good night
28:55You
