00:13Hisham Anip said the weather system made landfall on the coast of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan at
00:19around midnight and was now in the middle of the peninsula. It is expected to continue eastward
00:25towards the South China Sea. In a statement, Hisham said that although the weather system is weakening,
00:32rain cloud formation remains active, potentially causing continuous heavy rain, strong winds and
00:38stormy seas in parts of the peninsula, especially Pahang and Trungganu, with the pattern expected to
00:44continue until tomorrow. Yesterday, Hisham said it was the department's first time observing such a storm
00:51forming in the Straits of Melaka. Rainfall from the weather system of between 200 millimetres
00:58and 300 millimetres was expected in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and parts of Pahang,
