00:00What's up? Paul here from Guitar World and today we're going to be checking out a
00:17serious modeling guitar processor that's not only a huge bang for your buck, but
00:21incredibly powerful. The Donner Arena 2000 multi-effect processor. Let's check it out.
00:30The Donner Arena 2000 is a professional guitar multi-effects processor that boasts daring
00:38tones with amp modeling and a total of 278 effects. Wow! There's also a flexible multi-function
00:45operation where all you need to do is concentrate on your playing.
00:50Here's some key features that make the Donner Arena 2000 multi-effect processor stand out.
00:55The unit features Donner's exclusive FVACM, otherwise known as forward analog virtual circuit
01:02modeling tone processing technology. In other words, makes it sound real authentic and tube-like.
01:08IR sample length is up to 23.2 milliseconds, giving you really high definition detail. There's also 80
01:16high-res amp models, 50 cabinet IR models and 50 slots for loading third-party IRs for a total of 278 effects.
01:36What's cool with the Arena 2000 is that you can see the signal chain and what's great is you can easily
01:41move any of these effects blocks. For example, simply click on this and you'll see the cursor,
01:49move along the signal chain, select what you want and then just move it across where you want to put,
01:57say your amp or your compression or any effects block. It's really easy to use.
02:11There's also a built-in looper that supports up to 60 seconds of music,
02:19with reverse, double speed and half speed options.
02:32The Arena 2000 also has touch screen control which is really great, so if you want to change or edit
02:56any settings, say for your amp, simply touch amp and up comes your amp settings and use the knobs here
03:03to change the values. There's also a built-in drum machine with 40 different patterns.
03:26One of the coolest features that I really dig about the Arena 2000 is the fact that it has
03:34preset switching control which allows me to quickly bounce between presets just in this mode,
03:40but say I'm on a particular preset, simply hold and it puts me into control mode which allows me to
03:48actually turn effects on or off or turn whatever I want on or off or select and bring something in.
03:58So added versatility to the preset and then simply click back to go back to preset switching mode.
04:18It also features a built-in
04:48due to the DSP1 Expression Pedal and external DXP2 Expression Pedal. There's also computer software
04:53or the unit for tone editing and backup and firmware updates. And you can also fine-tune the parameters
04:59via Arena's companion mobile smart app.

05:39amp and effects, along with a looper and a built-in drum machine jam-packed in an easy-to-use
