00:00I know that this movie and this book deals with a lot of heavy topics and I
00:04just wanted to call out a monologue that you say at the end of the movie. It was
00:07really beautifully done. How challenging was it to work through that scene?
00:12That's a big challenge. I think it's a big challenge to play someone who has
00:17received devastating news or like it just a heartbreaking story, a life-changing
00:23story. You know this character, I don't want to do any spoil, spoil, spoils as
00:27spoils, right? That's what everybody always says. I don't want to do spoils so
00:31I won't do spoils. But yeah, I think I really wanted to be able to show that my
00:38character Alyssa is okay with showing heartbreak and showing that she's sad
00:45without putting shame back onto Blake's character Lily and I think that's like a
00:51really hard line to walk but I felt proud of it at the end of the day. I felt
00:57that we were both able to show two women who were handling many things at
01:01once and remaining bonded, remaining strong. Yeah. I know your character and
01:06Blake's character build such an instant bond from the beginning. How were you
01:10able to build off of that off screen and was there anything that kind of you had
01:15any bonding activities off screen to kind of build that? I think it was one of
01:19those lucky situations where your cast is people who hopefully have this instant
01:24chemistry because of course Alyssa walks into Lily's flower shop and like asked
01:29for a job right then. But I feel that in our own way Blake and I had that
01:34experience that we were just kind of curious about each other and Blake is
01:39really warm. She really asks a lot of beautiful questions. She's very caring and
01:45and and willing to share. And for me that's kind of like it's all I like you
01:51know it's like my favorite thing is like I just really like that and I'm very
01:54chatty and I felt like we fell right into a chatty onset vibe that then became
01:59deep and I'm really grateful for our friendship. Yeah.
