00:07With big SAG Award wins, many speculated that Demi Moore and Timothee Chalamet could win big at this year's Oscars.
00:14Instead, the Academy was all in on Honora, with five wins, including Best Picture.
00:19In a surprise win, Mikey Madison won Best Actress over Veteran Moore,
00:22who many predicted would win her first Oscar after a long career and wins at the SAG, Critics' Choice, and Golden Globes.
00:30Meanwhile, Adrienne Brody defeated Chalamet.
00:32Additionally, Conclave, The Substance, and A Complete Unknown seemingly all underperformed Sunday night.
00:38Some believed Conclave could take home Best Picture after a Best Cast win at the SAG Awards.
00:43Ten-time nominees The Brutalist and Wicked each won just two awards,
00:47though the latter had a big moment at the top of the show,
00:50with stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande performing a medley of songs, including Wicked's iconic Defying Gravity.
00:56And after Emilia Perez's Oscars campaign was thrown off course when controversial posts on X from star Carlos-Sofia Gascon resurfaced,
01:05the 13-nomination-led film took home just two awards,
01:08with Zoe Saldana winning for Best Supporting Actress and the film taking Best Original Song for El Mal.
