00:02HBO Max's Sex and the City sequel has officially set a premiere date and a trailer to go with it.
00:08The streamer will debut And Just Like That with two episodes on December 9th,
00:12picking up 11 plus years after the last time Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw and co.
00:17were on screens in the second Sex and the City feature film.
00:20The remaining eight episodes will roll out weekly.
00:23And Just Like That follows Carrie, Miranda, played by Cynthia Nixon,
00:26and Charlotte, played by Kristen Davis,
00:28as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s
00:33to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.
00:37The fourth member of Sex and the City's core cast, Kim Cattrall,
00:40isn't involved in the follow-up after famously falling out with Parker.
00:44Life is full of surprises.
00:47Sex and the City creator Darren Starr also isn't a part of And Just Like That,
00:51but Michael Patrick King, who served as showrunner on the original HBO series
00:55and wrote and directed both feature films, is the showrunner.
00:58The series cast will also feature Sex and the City favorites,
01:01like Chris Knotts, Mr. Big, as well as Evan Handler,
01:04David Eigenberg, Mario Cantone, and the late Willie Garson.
