00:08reporting that the star checked into a facility in Connecticut for alcohol use and

00:12stress a little over a month ago. A representative for the actor spoke to The

00:15Hollywood Reporter saying,

00:24Although the HBO fantasy series wrapped up filming last summer, the cast has made

00:27extensive media rounds within the last couple of months to promote the final season.

00:31For his part, Harington, who played one of the show's central characters Jon Snow,

00:35recently hosted Saturday Night Live, covered magazines, gave extensive interviews and made

00:40numerous daytime talk show and late night appearances over the course of the season.

00:44The actor has been outspoken about the stress that Game of Thrones has produced in the past,

00:49revealing in one interview that he entered therapy during a period in which his character

00:53became more central to the show's narrative.
