00:00Blake Lively is speaking up after Justin Baldoni filed a second lawsuit,
00:04this time a bombshell lawsuit against herself and husband Ryan Reynolds.
00:09Baldoni filed a $400 million lawsuit against the two over what transpired on the set of
00:14It Ends With Us and in the weeks following the movie's release.
00:17Lively's legal team is now responding, saying it's another chapter pulled from the abuser playbook.
00:22This is an age-old story. A woman speaks up with concrete evidence of sexual harassment and
00:27retaliation and the abuser attempts to turn the tables on the victim. This is what experts call
00:32DARVO, deny, attack, reverse victim offender. The rebuttal was issued hours after Baldoni
00:38filed a 179-page lawsuit in New York federal court against Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds,
00:44alongside two publicists alleging extortion, defamation, and claims related to breach of
00:49contract tied to the making and release of It Ends With Us. In describing how Lively allegedly
00:54slowly and deliberately took over the movie, Baldoni says she invoked best friend Taylor Swift's name
00:59when presenting him with rewrites, telling him that both Swift and Reynolds, whom she referred to as
01:04her dragons, thought the changes were great. In another twist, Baldoni and his lawyer are also
01:09going after Disney and Marvel Studios, saying that Reynolds used the character Nice Pool in Deadpool
01:14and Wolverine to mock him. For more on this story, head to THR.com. And for the latest
