Welcome back to Stars Hollow! A 'Gilmore Girls' documentary is in the works! In celebration of the 25th anniversary of 'Gilmore Girls' this October, a new documentary, 'Searching For Stars Hollow,' is in the works with stars Kelly Bishop, Jared Padalecki and Chad Michael Murray, among others.

00:00Welcome back to Stars Hollow, a Gilmore Girls documentary is in the works.

00:11In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Gilmore Girls this October,

00:15a new documentary searching for Stars Hollow is in the works with stars Kelly Bishop,

00:20Jared Padalecki, and Chad Michael Murray, among others.

00:23The doc is set to look at the beloved show's role in American cultural history,

00:27as well as include never-before-seen interviews with cast members

00:30and behind-the-scenes stories from crew members, writers, and directors.

00:34Gilmore Girls, which ran for seven seasons from 2000 to 2007,

00:39centered around the relationship between a 30-something single mother,

00:42Lorelai Gilmore, played by Lauren Graham,

00:44and her teen daughter, Rory Gilmore, played by Alexis Bledel,

00:47living in the fictional town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut.

00:50Melissa McCarthy, Scott Patterson, Sean Gunn,

00:53and the late Edward Herman, also starred in the Amy Sherman Palladino dramedy.

00:57A release date for Searching for Stars Hollow has yet to be announced.
